honestly - I've been a fan of Kansas my entire life. Seen them in concert many times. This is simply phenomenal.
I like how they changed the ending up, so cool! Wish more churches would have fun like this!

Well done guys. I remember when I realized that John Elefante was the singer for Mastedon (great music BTW, because it had the Elefante brothers). It blew my mind that someone from a legendary band (Kansas) would front a Christian band. Now seeing the lyrics of this song again it seems clear to me that their faith didn't leave them, it just worked itself out in their songs.
This reminds me of the band ensemble "Free Fare" from the 70s. They used to have concerts at all the schools and played all the popular rock songs of the time like this one then preach at the end.

Celebration church does it, it doesn't really like to classify it it as very religious because well some say religion was made to control the people. Although I believe the church is more biased towards Christianity but I'm not exactly sure.
I attend a church similar to this and we are certainly becoming one of the largest churches in my city. They play a popular song such as this that is then linked to the topic of the sermon.

This is exactly what the RCC did, and now all the "modern churches" are doing...allowing things NOT of God into their house of worship. As good as they are, and they are good, this is not the place or time ... The RCC let in anyone and added "holy days" so those converts could feel comfortable in their "church". That's NOT what Jesus said to do. I am become all things doesn't mean you become the devil lol...sorry, it just doesn't. Rock, rock hard, FOR GOD, not the world, for we are to be in the world, not OF the world.

What a show-off on keys (MIDI controller placing etc), and pity that his third chord is wrong too: 0:23. But he makes it up @ the solo, 3:03. Only minor faults in the arpeggio @ 3:08 :)
Furthermore, not bad. Vocals are quite good!
