One of the tricks I always like to do for ETs and contracts is to hold the coin and the bomb, then put the bomb in a briefcase and throw it at a chandelier. If you can time it right it's a great way to get easy accident kills, though it only works on some chandeliers - the ones in Paris and Sapieza work really well, but I tried it on Hokkaido and my game crashed.
basicly the coin acts as if you are stanting there so the dialog will activaate when the coin is thrown where 47 would have to be standing for it to trigger

It seemed to work alright with poisoning Yates the other day, and his balcony is considered trespassing, so I assume it works as normal, yes.
