Thank you for almost 5k subscribers! Previous video here! czcams.com/video/zv0IzYT1TdA/video.html
Thank you for respond I didn't mean nothing bad about it I was just a suggestion I know you guys do a great job thank you for your response Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family makeup man
I'm sorry I didn't mean makeup man what I meant was my good man
I still remember when Bill said “Hi everyone in TV LAND” on a CZcams video.😂😂
very useful. Thanks!
Not sure why I never thought about using Meltdown for wax removal. I’ve had a gallon just sitting in the garage lol. Great job!
Thank you!
The "Future acrylic floor finish" they used to sell in the 1970s aged the same way. You couldn't just let it build up because it absorbed dirt and looked dingy on the patterned vinyl floors that were popular back then, but when you stripped it off, it turned to the same Cream of Wheat mush we saw here.
I have real hardwood floors and I had used Bona cleaner and the Rejuvenate Restorer. Do you know anything about Rejuvenate? Then I stated to use Murphy oil soap. I did not know it was bad for hard wood floors? What now????
Also adding Bona floor polish will scratch like you did something to the floor when its just the floor polish thats scratched. Take it from experience!
My clients ALL use Bona on their laminate "hardwood look" floors. Does this process only work for certain a certain Bona product or does it work for the Bona floor cleaner
Your opening music reminded me of a game streamer that uses that music in his opening credits also
Channels are limited on no copyright music. Especially for Christmas type songs.
I heard this same music on a cooking channel years ago.. reminded me of that lol
Great result, well done.
Why did you did it by hand instead of using the floor scrubber?
It sure looked good what did you place back on the floor when completed with cleaning?
Nothing. Just all natural!

Just curious... would Dissolver from Basic Coatings work on the laminate or would it be too aggressive? I've only used it on wood floors, so far.
It should be fine. Always test a small area first.
Just a suggestion I think you could have used a red pad it won't be that aggressive you probably use an orbiter or but that's a lot of work you guys are doing it must be a better way I understand you don't want to wet the Floor wit water too much cuz if you don't want to do that try to find a less aggressive pad and use a machine and then suck it all up with a vacuum
Yes there are other ways. We were there to do a cleaning only and did not know it had wax on it so we just had to do with what we had on the truck.
Great vid! What dilution ratio did you use for the Unitex stripper?
i think i asked before . is that an outrigged filter box or a portable?
for the truck? its a outrigged
What mop are you using? Looks good.
flat mops. can be found in description of video!
What about using Plastic 5-8 inch Scrapers .taped to a broom handle
Probably could we just didn’t have one.
If not wax, what do you use to protect the laminate floor from water damage of frequent mopping?
Should not be using that much water to clean floors that it could damage them.
How much that job cost
Do you move the furniture and stuff out just work around it?
We only move small amounts
How do you maintain that floor to keep it looking nice do you apply any kind of wax or is it just a wet mop or how do you do that
Just a regular mopping with neutral floor cleaner.
@@SteamBossInc Is Bona Floor CLEANER a "neutral floor cleaner"? We've been using it on our wood floors for 20 years and don't have the issues you are addressing.
Well, that solves it, we won’t be putting wood floors in our house after all. I like the the glossy wood look and if all it’s gonna do is ruin the floor and I have to keep getting it finished to keep it glossy overtime. I’d rather just get tile. wood sucks.
I'm a fan of Bruce floor cleaner. I also used Frosch, it's a German plant cleaner you dilute (Amazon). I placed in spray bottle and cleaned with the type of mop in this video, changing pads frequently.
@@everythingyousayiscorrect This isn't really a wood floor and people probably put this stuff on to make it look less fake, and it works at first. The problem it that the fake finish (aluminum oxide, I believe) is so tough that nothing sticks to it for long. Real wood floors have some kind of varnish (usually polyurethane) that won't do this, but it does eventually get scratched up and needs some kind of refinishing. It's fine for a living room or bedroom, but I wouldn't want it in a kitchen.
It says that it is. What's up here
Hello guys
Quick question
Would that work to remove varnish from laminate floors as well?
no it would not.
Does anyone know of what companies will do this and what I ask for when I call?
ask for topical wax removal. some carpet companies should, might have to call around.
@SteamBossInc I used Quickshine and now I have scratches all over my floor. Guessing that they are scratches on the layer of this product and not the actual floor. Can I use the product you used to remove the 3 yrs of the Quickshine on my laminate floor?
Yes but you need to be careful not to damage the floor removing it or with too much moisture.
@SteamBossInc thank you! What kind of scrubbing pad is it okay to use?
I have a customer that needs this. How much per sq. ft would you charge for this service and how many man hours were on the job?
opposite LOL
I am trying to do the exact same thing. After spraying the Unitex down and leaving it for a few minutes(as you did), it seems to be much harder to get off than what I see in your video. Looks as though the wax is breaking down much easier than what I am experiencing - its as though there is gum stuck to the floor. The microfiber flat mops aren't collecting any of the wax at all either. Any recommendations?
rent a buffer machine and get a red pad, spray the solution on the floor and run the machine, for the corners use same red pad but wit a corner tool or scrapper
Got to get it off befor it starts drying again too.😵
What kind of chemicals did you use to get wax off?
Used a floor stripper.
What type of floor stripper for laminate?
Can this be done at home by myself without calling someone in? Whoever owned this place before me, put soooo much shit on top there's no getting it clean with just mopping. I feel like it's constantly dirty and that's just because the buildup/wax on top.
It can but it’s definitely a lot easier with the right equipment.
They did the same thing in the apartment where I live. E erytime someone moved they poured more froor wax on the floor, over top of food crumbs, hair, etc.
I am having a heck of a time cleaning up the mess.
Also if I mop the floor wiyh floor cleaner, it reactivates the wax and it becomes extremely slippery.
Just use a green pad 😂
That wax is nasty stuff.
Is the bona polish ok to use?
No!
do you get money for the wart bill
No LOL
useless. did not explain what were you using when you was buffing
its an orbot vibe
@@SteamBossInc What is being sprayed out of buffer?
