HOLY COW! 14 hours working on this computer and watching every how-to video in the world, and this got rid of the BCD error I created. I cannot believe I found your video. Although I am not out of the dark yet, I was able to get back the "Reset PC" option and no more error at startup. Thank you for making this program and video.

Had so much trouble with my drive, it would not boot, would come up with boot device not found, it would not even open winRE... spent hours researching and trying different fixes for the BCD but nothing worked... I would get it to a state where it looked like everything was pointing in the right direction but still no boot or RE. Installed windows on a new drive and it worked fine so I ruled out any bugs hiding in RAM or BIOS and went back to trying to repair BCD, even re-writting the BCD would not have any effect let alone fix the issue. So I gave up trying to make it boot and focused on getting the RE working again which is when I stumbled across you. I watched "How to Repair or Restore the Windows Recovery Environment WINRE | Fix ReAgentC errors in Windows 10" over and over again trying fixes but still no love from the drive. Then I spotted this video and gave it a try and it fixed the issue 1st go. Now I have RE working and the thing even boots without a reload! You sir are awesome! I can not thank you enough for your awesome vid so I just sent you 50 bucks Australian.

Morning,
As all others have said, this also got me out of a boot fix after cloning my SSD to an old(ish) SATA drove, both 1Tby...I got a few errors when running your script, very well written I thought!, it did complete however, and exited. I selected 'continue to Windows' but that didnt work. so switched off and restarted, the system then did an awful lot of disk checking, I have the SSD, the old SATA drive and two further 2 & 1 Tby data drives.. All went ok after the longisg scan EXCEPT, I noted there was nothing in the SSD 99Mby boot partition, but it all the BCD stuff was in the Sata drives boot partition. The system have started up from the Sata boot partion (on drive G) but had loaded the system from the C drive, I could tell this as the loading was so rapid. I just started and selected the other drive and its taken about 10/12 mins to start up... So
How do I set the system up so the SSD is booted from directly .. I have left everything pretty much alone, was just going to copy over the BCD partions from G: to C: (unformatted by the way on C) but have though it worth speaking to you first..
I have the scrren shot of the BCD..
I also appear to have two identical SATA boot options in the ROG Bios menu, one takes me to an option to boot from SSD the or Sata disk (Vols 6 & 1) the other Bios option, with identical name, pruduces a blue scree saying there is an error in the BCD file and I have to restart.. this looks like it may well be an errant BCD copy to one of the partitions on the SATA drive.. or the fact that the SSD Boot partition is empty.. Any idea on that one. The system has just booted in a few mins from selecting Option 2 in Bios menu and then Volume 6 from the next screen, Volume 1 is drive G, the Sata drive..
I can forward 3 screenshots showing the abve details...
Any idea how to get rid of the errant entry in the Bios menu AND how the just boot from the SSD, not via the Sata drive..
Here is a text version of the BCD output after running your script-

I have 2 operating systems on 2 different m2 ssds (with the working one i can access the broken one just not the windows user profiles) 1 works and can boot the other doesn’t. How does the program work then? Can i select one of the ssds or will it rebuild both or would i need to remove the working ssd? And lastly is it possible to use the program on the working windows to repair the broken one (so without using a stick to boot)?
i wanted to clone my Win partion of my MacBook so ican use it on Core 2 duo pc who run Mbr only so step one i created the 2 partion with Diskpart ( MBR) then i use Macrium to clone the Windows partion of MacBook to the new formated disk atach via USB and idid the procedure describe on you video per the book and bingo i could boot on my core 2 duo pc it'sssss WORKKKKKK it try so many thing include the Macrium special tool nothing works so thank you very mutch

So the Auto Scan said that they found Windows on (C) and that there was a failure when attempting to copy boot files.
It also says that my disk scheme is MBR, but when I did your other vid tutorial I found my system on GPT.
And it says my BCD is on Partition (E) and asks me to be 100% sure that its not my Windows or USB Drive Partition. Because if I say yes itll delete the partition ans everything in it. (And im not sure how to check to confirm either)
Im unsure if i should say yes or no here?

What is the error message and error code that appear in your blue screen?
In relation to charger issue, that may indicate that the laptop's battery is corrupted.
Hey, I don't know if you're there or you could me with this but I loaded your batch script, it located the letter of my System Partition "N" and says that the BCD files are on it. It asks me if "N" is my system partition, yes it is. But it asks me to confirm if the System Partition "N" is not my Windows partition and it asks me if I want to delete the System Partition which is "N". Is this necessary? I want to make sure if I should delete the System Partition because it looks like I need too. I just want to make sure, I don't want to screw anything up
Seem you have selected to recreate the EFI partition from scratch.
You can select to repair the BCD file only if you are not sure if the N is your EFI partition. The following video can help you to differentiate between windows and EFI partitions:

I have a problem, when I run the software it says that the windows partition cannot be found, and when I search on "this pc" to see where my SSD with windows on it is, i dont find it, do you think its because my pc no longer recognize my ssd? I need help
Maybe your windows partition has no an assigned letter or your windows files are not available.
Also if your SSD id corrupted or not connected properly into motherboard, then you can't see your windows partition or files, and your computer will boot into a black screen saying *No OS Device* or something like that.
@@ValiumMediaTech when I go to the commands, and I put " disk list " or something like that, there is no SSD, there are my HDD and other things but not the SSD, even in the bios there is no SSD, when I start my PC it goes to the bios automatically, I don't know what to do honestly, so I'm gonna try disconnecting the HDD that I have, and connect my SSD to a different port

czcams.com/video/lwgIdutkPek/video.html
hi again. what happens to me is when I start your auto fix it finds the auto boot file on my USB (I am using the windows media recovery off of the USB) my reserve is empty so it does not see anything there. so when I hit no to erase the USB it then closes so it will not automatically load the files in the new empty reserve. so if I uunderstand you before. you want me to delete the system reserve so the auto can boot the boot files on my main c drive? which would mean I have no partition other than the 1 for the drive c correct? where in the past it had 2 partitions reserve and drive c
That is happen because you may have copied the Boot files into your USB drive.
So, as I said in another replay, try to copy the tool folder to your computer, disconnect the USB, after that run the tool again.
ok.. however I believe I am using the USB with the windows media recovery that is on it. If I disconnect that USB will the command prompt and program go away? I guess if it does, I can format the USB and download media again. thank you for your help it is appreciated. @@ValiumMediaTech
additional info. I have two usb attached to pc. 1. the mewindows media and the other your program. But yes I may have copied the files to the usb with the windows media.. that is why I ask if I disconnec that then my guess is the recovery command prompt I am working off will die?should Ijust look for the boot file on that usb and delete it? or unplug not that you have this info. again thanks@@ValiumMediaTech
@@Wiscwin1 Disconnecting the USB will not cause anything you mentioned, because the boot files are copied to a temporary partition at the beginning of boot from the USB.
@@Wiscwin1 Disconnect both USB drives after copying my files to your PC.
Hi, how about "EFI MICROSOFT BOOT BCD 0XC00000D" error? Im facing this issue right now. Hoping for your fast reply, Sir🙏🏻
Im installing Win10 from a bootable usb drive. It was successfully installed since it shown ✅ on all the progress. But then it restarted by itself, and giving me that error.
- If you have more two hard disks (e.g. SSD and HDD) and you are trying to install win10 into SSD, then make sure there is no another windows in the HDD drive, otherwise, disconnect the HDD and then try reinstalling windows again.
- If you are trying to install a new windows to a hard disk that has an old windows installed on it, then make sure to delete the old windows partition, recovery partition and (EFI or System) partition, after that create a new partition from all unallocated space or just select the Unallocated space and then click Next to start windows installation.
czcams.com/video/tYUBiWO0P9o/video.html
- If previous suggestions not helped, try to recreate the bootable USB using Rufus tool using another computer, or using Ventoy app in your mobile.
czcams.com/video/VftmUgeRJa8/video.html
You may need to download a new ISO file of windows 10 to make sure that the problem is not related to a corruption in your old windows 10 files.
- If all previous suggestions not helped, you may need to think about a hardware corruption in hard disk or RAM.
Mine is saying operation failed … what should I do?
Which step?
After the parts thats saying “ignored”
where is the download link?
Open the link from video description.
Where's the link to this at 2:58
In the video description.
4:23 if it give me : Total identified windows installations : 0 ???😢
Make sure to assign a letter to all partitions and try again.
If not helped, make sure to that you have windows partition as instructed on this video:

@@fansgamer1581 Good Luck!
hello i have problem with the partition
What is your problem?
This is an addendum to my post below. I looked under the D:\Recovery\Windows directory and found Reagent.xml.old (1,130 bytes). I also looked under the sources directory of my Windows 10 USB boot drive and found a reagent.xml file (837 bytes). Should I copy the Windows 10 USB boot reagent.xml file to the D:\Recovery\Windows directory and then run your batch file again?
Yes you can try to copy the reagent.xml file, or rename reagent.xml.old to reagent.xml and then try again.
After renaming the reagent.xml.old to reagent.xml, I re-ran the bcd batch file. Once again the recovery step failed. I will email you the text file of the batchfile output. As happened last time, at the request to format windowRE when Y was entered nothing happened so I entered N.

Efi partition not findable
If you are sure there is no EFI Partition, then select to create new EFI partition option.
You'll never be able to fix the similar issues that result from cloning a SATA m2 SSD to a NVMe m2 SSD! I've used many cloning programs and regardless I've used none of them helped me cloning the NVMe m2 SSD so that can make it error free! The laptop's BIOS sees it, tries to boot from it but it doesn't enter in Windows and instead returns errors. The only solution of using the NVMe on the same laptop is to do a clean Windows Install!
Thanks for addition
I did follow the process now my pc only ryt hp it's don't continue
If the process done successfully, then the you have another issue, which could be a software or hardware corruption.
Help please
At the end I get a window that says you can not run this application on the computer

Im on windows 8
@@tuabuelawolfie5013 ReagentC is used to enable Recovery Environment (WinRE). So, if the BCD rebuilt successfully, then you can enable the WinRE after login into windows desktop.

This video will make me jas if it don't work
It should work and fix your issue if the issue is related to BCD.
directory erroe showing
What is the shown error?
Reagentc.exe an error has occurred
Operation failed:2
If your issue is realtered to BCD only, then you can ignore this error, because ReagentC is to repair recovery only. After fixing your issue, you can then rebuild theN repair or rebuild the recovery as on this video:
czcams.com/video/IpkpgqpwaIo/video.html

That didn't work for me unfortunately
What is your main error message or error code that you are trying to fix?
@@ValiumMediaTech Oxc0000098
That was the first error code that appeared to my laptop
@@ValiumMediaTech Oxc0000098 and Oxc0000001
It still didnt work
Did you failed to rebuild the BCD or the BCD rebuilt successfully but your issue not fixed?
didnt work...
If the system files are intact and you are able to use the tool correctly, it should rebuild the BCD. But if you are not able to follow my instructions correctly, then it is your fault not the tool.
NOTE: The tool can rebuild the BCD and hence fix the boot failure if it's related to BCD, but if the error is related to another corruption, you have to fix it using another method according to the error source.
bro i am so sad man. i know i have the same issue as this. but holy heck seems complicated as fk. all because vanguard decided to not work onw11. fk this man.
How can I help you?
@@ValiumMediaTechman. idk i tried everything using the autobatch tool said it didn’t detect window installation. which is weird 1. i can browse to efi folder. 2. i see in bios under flashback utility all my files are still intact. so there is definitely windows there. i thought maybe i didnt copy all the files from your autobatch tool. that wasnt the case either. i am unsure what to do.

sorry for delayed response. i know this is the issue too because i got the last bsod u were describing. its really weird tho because when i do list disk command in cmd on recovery drive it doesnt even list my disk. like main ssd. like in your vid it at least shows some other drives mine are just two 1. being the recovery boot drive usb and 2. the usb with autobatch tool.
