So, I scrap my perfectly working car (that has passed its MOT and been serviced every year) to get £2k back and then go into dept for £18k for a second hand electric car where the batteries will need servicing at additional costs? Yep, that's a really great scheme. I now don't have a car and I'll have to use the £2k on public transport. Perfect. Utter nonsense. Coo-coo land.
its a load of crap - scrap scheme extended and despite owning my non ulez car for over 9 years - i switched change of owners within the year to my partner for insurance purposes and application rejected as need to have had the car in that name for over a year (out by a month and still at same address) shown all the backdated proof of 9 years and still rejected again how is this ok?? its trying to avoid paying out despite saying your helping those who are now stuck.
