I have had mine for 5000 km now. And I love it. Everything is not perfect. But it has everything I want in a bike. The new uppgrades to the engine makes it an absolutely lovely machine to ride.

Great review thanks Bob. There is a setting where the speedo/tach is smaller and the fuel range/odo etc. is displayed. This fills out the display if that is what you want. Very much enjoying my '24 RP which I've had since March. I test rode the '23 Tiger 900 RP and the new '24 version back to back. The engine changes are significant which you didn't really cover. The extra torque lower down and more power up top is noticeable between the two bikes. Plus the new bike sounds more aggressive on the stock pipe. The '24 Tiger now feels properly fast for a midsize ADV.

i just bought a 24 rally pro,i had a superduke r gen 3 before.i absolutely love this bike, ive had it 3 days and i find it to be perfect for me.just got to run it in now!
i went for the 900 over the 1200 because its more versatile imo.

This is the one adventure bike I would have, and it was high on shopping list.
    Rob another great video 😊❤

I had a 2023 900-GT-Pro, and you're correct the power was always there, and never lacking. And the features from Heated grips and seats, quick-shifter, cruise made it the perfect allrounder. However, I traded it for a 2023 Rocket-3R, but now, I'm going to keep my Rocket, but then look into a new 2024 GT-Pro 👍
And Yes, the 2023 TFT was simply a Hot Mess, I'm glad that has been trashed !!

Bob, I rode a 2020 Tiger 900 in the US and loved it so much so that I tried one in the UK with a view to trading in my ATAS DCT which I really didn’t gel with. Perhaps the setup, but didn’t like the handling or vibration through the bars. I’m not a fan of the oddball crank which removes the inherent smoothness of a 120 degree crank under the pretext of providing better torque. I went for a KTM 890 in preference although even that’s a parallel twin pretending to be a V. I might just try the new Tiger having found the 890 to be cramped and crude by comparison plus even the “ergo” seat is pretty poor.

Look forward to the full review. I took delivery of mine (exactly the same as the one you’ve got to test) on June 6 and loving it.
Question for you … what helmet did you use in this video and what is wind noise like? I’ve just purchased a HHC R PHA 71 Carbon and the wind noise is terrible.
    Cheers.

How do you feel about the weight difference between this bike and the GT Pro vs the older 800 models? Does the HP and torque make up for the difference? I have a 2012 Tiger 800 ABS and it is quite quick feeling through the midrange.

Hey Bob, where is this bike made? I've never been a fan of this model but I quite like this machine now. 100% agree with you on the lower power output bikes to appeal to newer restricted riders is a tiny part of the market and it stupid for makers to try to accommodate them. Most often as riders mature they will want a different bike anyway.

Very interested in this bike v. Africa Twin AS (non-DCT). Here in the US, they are very close in price. I would be using it for occasional two up, probably 80/20 street to dirt riding and touring.

I got my '24 Rally Pro back in March and really like it. I use it like the way you are planning - occasional long trip two up and 80/20 road/offroad. It's perfect for this. My wife say's its very comfortable, smooth and the aero is good plus the leg room is excellent for pillions (she is 5'8" tall). Plenty of luggage space too in the Triumph hard panniers. Quality is a big step up and the engine is awesome - more torque down low than the '20-23 Tiger 900 and as Bob points out, an exciting top end which is definately noticeable vs the previous model.

Trying to decide between this and the 901 expedition. Im a bit concerned about all the failed cams, air box, and electronic issues with the 901. I don't really hear or read too much about issues with the tiger other than annoying design choices. Thoughts?

Either. But the BMW F900GS also has my attention... there are other contenders, and they are all pretty good. Difficult choice in this segment right now.

Have they been able to isolate the rider from the vibration that has plagued the “T plane” 900’s at highway speeds 🤔? It is good to see it has a tachometer you can actually read now 😆.

    • @clarkstreetcustoms6775
      @clarkstreetcustoms6775 Před 6 dny

Dan-56 I find it very smooth at highway speeds with the revised engine and rubber mounted bars on the new bike. There is a slight 'edge' to it vs. my old creamy smooth Tiger 800, but you could say it is now an exciting ride which I wouldn't say about my old trusty 800. The extra power and torque is another league.

I live n the hot & humid southeastern US.One of the reasons I traded my 23 Tiger GT PRO n on a 24 GT PRO Because of the heat on my knees Thought Triumph fixed that issue But n my experience NO others may disagree but for me on long day rides it’s very noticeable & can b uncomfortable but it’s not a dealbreaker I lk my 24 GT PRO

Marco I've had two 900 GT Pros and I've never found the little vibs it has are not annoying by any measurement. I also had 955i Tiger and 1050 Tiger which were a bit smoother but the new Tiger motor is much better overall. I've found my Kawasaki Z900RS and BMW R9T more vibey for all day rides.

I took delivery of my 2024 Tiger 900 RP on June 6 and haven’t noticed any vibes yet. I’ve only just hit 600 miles and have a way to go on the run in process. Maybe some vibes will come in when I can increase the revs.
      The bike is amazing
