Watched this just before going skiing to build up the hype.

My local slope got closed this season. It's a long story but to make it short some people didn't like the land trade and the owner didn't want to argue so now the nearest slope is 180 km away :)
@@kromaxmusic rip, hope you still get some skiing in
Man that is a rip
You guys have thee most perfect learning jumps and boxes and rails
Thank you Jens your channel has helped me so much. I have taken multiple friends out on the mountain this season to teach skiing and I ALWAYS make sure they watch your 10 things to do your first day of skiing every time and it has really helped them. Thank you so much for helping with my progression in park you are the best.
Thank you so much! I'm humbled and happy it has helped you and your friends so much! đđ»
Hitting the mountain today! (Snoqualmie, WA, USA)
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyy a fellow snoqualmie homie, how you liking the nice cascade concrete
@@jd.bourlier yeah, not always great đ but idk if you went up on Saturday but it was đđđ
@@nickw22689 I did go up Saturday and it was very đ. But Monday was the hardest and most ice I've ever seen, couldn't believe I wasn't on the east coast.
@@jd.bourlier Monday was basically ice skatingđ
Ayyy, I donât ski snowqualmie but I go to stevens pass so still Washington skiing
Jens is the best ski teacher on the internet hands down. I've gotten so much better from watching these videos. Your teaching style is perfect!
Too kind :) That warms on a cold rainy spring day.
Straight forward, quick, simple. Just brilliant. Love these kinds of videos!
Woop woop

Just fractured a rib after my 13th 360. I landed almost all of the previous. Pro tip, donât rotate on the take off.
Yes, was waiting for this video to come!
Absolutely grand video
Thank you so much! I was already doing jumps but was having trouble with tricks, this channel helps alot!
I went to the hill landed all of them first try thanks to the amazing teaching
Man i love those tutorials. They are so fun and easy to learn. Thank you stomp it tutorials
Glad you like them!
Yesssssss another tutorial!!!
I love youâre ski videos
Fantastic video
This is best I am learn front flip, 360 and backflip thank youđđ€©
Thanks for the help! I've watched you since 2017 and i love the content you produce so much!
Happy to hear that!
I think 540 is easier than 360. But I fractured the little horisontal bones in my L3 and L5 so I just want to ride my skis when my back is healed. Your vids make my day
Lookin' good man! Happy Winter!
dude you are amazing
yoo im going on a ski trip and i just watched the vid to get up the hype :)
Man, I wouldnât jump on my carbon touring ski poles! đ
same thing i was thinking
No cap one of those camps would be so fun
Living my ski season through you this year .no sign of us being able to fly out from Wales.you must use
Up so much energy .how do you keep your legs fresh? Be good to have a exercise and diet video.
Maybe some training video might come for the summer or autumn. Diet is a tricky topic I don't feel comfortable recommend anything how ever I feel pretty good on Paleo ish type diet. But I'm not so strict had pizza and wine yesterday.
The blue tubes noise is very satisfying
Nice
This video is very helpful cause my rail tricks are lacking and i can try these new ones
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video! I would add opp carve 360 and lazyboy 360 to this list. These are part of my favorite intermediate tricks!
Good choice!
Awesome video as always jens!! thanks to your videos i landed my first back and frontflips the other days, sended even a double. can you maybe give me any advice on laying them out more? because halfway through i always chicken out pointing my head further to the landing and pull my legs back too early.. maybe you got any adivce on that :)
cheers!
That is awesome! Practise on the trampoline :P
for tail butter 3s not on a roller i always have to do a 180 0ff a side hit land switch and carry the momentum in order to get the pressure i need on the tails for it to be a tail butter
Wish Stomp It had camps for kids
Canât travel out of the country till March due Corona.. So i wonât be able to ski this year. Guess i better Watch stomp videos!
I did my first 540 today but it was kinda sketchy so more training to come
Bro same I just did my first one!!!
Stomp is it possible to do tricks with poles please answer this as tomorrow I'm going to try my 1st tricks ever :D
Great video! Though I am curious what proportion of the viewers are actually good enough freestyle skiers to do any of these and how many (like me) are just piste skiers watching for fun!
I think 10% max. But anyone can learn most of these with a few weeks of skiing per year for a few years.
I work at Catamount ski resort in Massachusetts. And Iâm a ski and snowboard instructor and I would love to come to your camp. But where are you located.
Can you do an 11 advanced ski tricks video. Thank you! Love the vids
Almost no one would watch it but maybe I should.
@@StompItTutorials Definitely think people would. You would have 3 audiences: Piste skiers watching out of interest/amazement; Beginner/early intermediate park watching for inspiration and; those watching to actually learn. I have personally used both the beginner/intermediate tricks as a checklist to follow and fear I'll soon be lost without these vids Jens hahah ;)
Can I do these tricks with the atomic bent chetler 120? Or are these not maked for this kind of stuff?
Hey I'm looking at becoming a Ski instructor, so I found your job posting with BASI.
I'm not nearly good enough for it but you ask for at least an ISIA stamp (BASI 3) but then specify BASI 4 later.
Was this a mistake or have I missed something in the details of the qualifications?
Hey Oliver,
To stand a chance you basically gotta have level 4 unless your a badass freestyle skier too then maybe level 3 will be enough :P
Jens
Can you please do some easy tricks you can do without twintip? Iâve been watching for years but Iâve mostly been carving and chasing powder, Iâm new to tricks and donât have twintips
Yea any of them. Normal skis also have a tiny tail. Enough to land switch or ski switch.
@@StompItTutorials ok thanks! I would say Iâm an advanced skier and Iâm quite good at jumping as well but Iâve never tried any tricksđ thank you!
what size skis do you use?
4 in morning for me
Step 1. Learn how to rails. Haha. I wish my resort had boxes like laax. Mine has these borders where your skis always get caught. Anyone got any advice on how to overcome catchin an edge on the box.
Ok so on boxes and rails I always slide out. Tips?
Your weight isnât centered. Have your weight on the front foot
What skis were you using in this video?
Hi, what is the name of your jacket?
where is it ?
whats the name of ski resort?
Great job with this video, thx for the tips and keep it up guys! đđœ
Just a little off topic question: could I know the brand and model of those grey pants? Iâve a similar jacket and the orange-grey combination is so cool
Would go to the park today but that's difficult considering it's stuck under 2 meters of snow
Jealous
This place looks amazing and there is barely anyone around. Where is it?
Lax Switzerland
What song is in the inteo
Hi when i do front Swap i always slide backwards and land on My back... any tips?
Practice while standing still until you every time land nice and balance with a good amount of weight on the front foot.
Backflip needs to be on this list...way easier than almost all of these tricks
Yes but I already made an in-depth video on it so it gut cut.
im fearing that im gonna fail it but i can do triple on trampoline so any tips?
@@kapattaja5230 If you can do one on the tramp then you will easily make the rotation if you just full send
@@benjohnson3089 i have done landed standing double back on tramp
@@kapattaja5230 Exactly then you will easily be able to do single flip on skis
Me watching this 2 years ago thinking thats easy when i couldnt even do a pizza:
Here in Italy I think that this year we wonât go to ski
So sad
Hopefully some spring skiing â·ïž Hang in there and skiing will feel so unbelievably good when they open up again.
Whenever I do 540s on rather bigger jumps I land very nose heavy
2:15 how to break your poles
Gear setup vidV
What tricks shall I learn after 540 and backflips that are not on rails ?
corks, rodeos and flats
did you do backflip
@@kapattaja5230 yeah I do backflips, even with crossed skies
@@kapattaja5230 but yeah I should try to rodeos đđŒ

Do u live in Finland? So beautiful
no
Why am I here, I snowboard
Where does this guy ski?????
Would have been nice to know before I broke my leg
Savage
First
I am not God at rotating only 180 an rails is scary and not easy to stand on the rail
Aaah im sooo mad im just sitting in my house looking at the snowy mountain and i cant go ski because of fucking covid
ah man that sucks
too complicated :o
Check out 11 first trick to learn then. Good luck đ€
I am the 13th... Ironic...
These r considered intermediate? Wow..
Yes I`d say so.
Quick tip: don't practice rail tricks on your $100+ ski poles đ€Ł
Opsy, good idea :P Its much much better as mentioned to practise this on firm ground like concrete.
Just gonna say it, these are beginner tricka
Things that look cool on skis: Jumps, spins, flips, carves, pretty much everything
Things that look dumb as hell on skis: sliding down rails like a rollerblader
