      It's not so much that part that bothers me, but that a lot of the cars suggested will be very expensive to keep in salable condition when the warranty runs out, if it hasn't already run out.

      @@bawlout9367 I dont' think the F80 M3 is that insane of a proposal to keep alive out of warranty. But yeah one of my favorite suggestions is exactly what I'm looking at, a Porsche Macan S. Great daily and can be picked up with a CPO or extended warranty for around $35k all day

      Maybe for a high mileage example that needs work. Iirc typical for an average example is 60-80k. 15k either way for especially low or high milage options.

    2012-14 W204 C63 AMG Coupe with P31 Package. 6.2L Naturally Aspirated V8 that can rev up to 7200 RPM, and consistently last past 100k+ miles. Has the forged rods, pistons, and crank from the SLS AMG. ONLY downside is that it wasn’t offered in a manual.

      Those are both very possible
      NSX with alot of miles and no crazy kits with the turbo can be had for around 27k
      C7s are in the 30s all day long! Under 30k with a manual 2014 or 2015 especially rebuilt titles

    I got my 2017 SS 1LE for 34,900 with only 4K miles on it a year and a half ago! It’s got different suspension settings via the mag ride and different exhaust settings so my neighbors don’t hate me! All perfect for living in San Francisco! I love it!

    This one was interesting because last year I spent just a little under this on my 2015 Audi S5 cabriolet. CPO, 20k miles, tech pack, sports diff, B&O audio, carbon package and 19" rotors and I was curious if this list would have me 2nd guessing my choice. I wouldn't trade it for anything in this list. If I wasn't driving it year round and taking it on ski trips twice a week the NSX would be a possibility though. Most of the rest might be $35k to buy but you're going to spend another $35k in repairs the first year if you actually drive them.

      Some of these guys like to pick bottom of the barrel examples that don’t represent the market at all. If there’s a NSX for under $40k, there’s a reason to be highly mindful of that these guys gloss over.

      I think I have consistently had the best buying advice. Considering most of the 351s are $50k+ and the one I found was already modernized with a Cummins, it was the best of them all.

    For this installment, I have to agree with Jared. Buy that ancient Peterbilt, attach a flatbed, and charge people to tow their broken exotic from track day. You can recoup your purchase price in NO time! Brilliant!!

    I feel like the Cadillac CTS-V2 is very slept on. The engine and transmission are both basically bulletproof from factory, and it was a huge step up from the V1, adding a supercharger to the engine and pushing 556 hp and if you can cough up a little more than $35k you can get a wagon

    2018 GLA 45 is also a good play. They are right around 35k and the 2018 is the facelifted model that has much more refined shifting, shorter gearing and better styling in my opinion.

    Loving this series.
    Personally, I think the best pick is a 17-19 Mustang Shelby GT350. They’re dipping down into that range for good examples, or a really nice example of the 12-15 Camaro ZL1.

    Mercedes ML63 AMG for all the reasons I bought one. Comfortable, fast, seating, cargo space, 7,200 lbs towing capacity, AWD, and luxurious.

    Just recently bought an 2014 E63s Amg.. 577 HP AWD.. Absolutely loaded with features.. Parks itself and "practically" drives itself.. Four door panoramic roof.. Rear and front facing cameras.. Etc..

    I love this format with the price but maybe do the "best modable car for $x" or "the best AWD car for $x" something a little more spessific like that. We seem to get very similar answers from week to week

      Used hellcat would maybe be in that range but the miles of suffering that car has had is not worth it , maybe a m3 low mileage :)

    This price point has so many good options. It would be really hard not to shop for a decent and driven muscle car. You can find many in that price to fit any style.

    If I had to pick I'd pick the dodge viper. You can get a decent mid to high milage 90s dodge viper for under 40k and the parts are for the most part affordable and easy to obtain

    2013 Mini Cooper GP. Literally a race car for the road. Super low mileage ones go for around 35k but if you want to get a little bit of a higher mileage example you can tune the snot out of it.

    This was the best one yet. $35k is a good price point. No useless classics, no ratty track toys. Just good, daily-able, fun cars.
