It's crazy how no matter what price you set for these videos everyone seems to suggest cars that are overbudget.
Viniwiki youtube channel- the home of Shroud Negotiators. No one here pays listed price.
It's not so much that part that bothers me, but that a lot of the cars suggested will be very expensive to keep in salable condition when the warranty runs out, if it hasn't already run out.
@@TheSuburban15 💯 my point exactl NONE of the new BMW in this video will be able to be driven in 2 or 3 years from now when the warranty is up, all the smart and mature people in this video chose cars that they plan to keep for a long time, like the aston v8, the Maserati, Lotus, etc etc. Even the m3 dr chose a Ford svt raptor lmfaoo
The title is what car you can buy, not what car can you own on a $35k cost of ownership budget.
@@bawlout9367 I dont' think the F80 M3 is that insane of a proposal to keep alive out of warranty. But yeah one of my favorite suggestions is exactly what I'm looking at, a Porsche Macan S. Great daily and can be picked up with a CPO or extended warranty for around $35k all day
I can’t wait to hear Damon from Daily Driven Exotics act like there’s nothing under $35k for sale

same here, took me a second to figure out it was not a color lmao
😆😆😆😂😂😆😆😆😳😆😆😆😆
35K for an NSX?
Can you even get a auto for that price?
Yes you can.
If you look hard enough
I was about to ask the same. Unless its a basket case, you wont get a manual for $35k USD.
Here in the UK, a good auto is around $50k USD.
they start at 100k here in AUS
Exactly! I have never seen them for that.
Maybe for a high mileage example that needs work. Iirc typical for an average example is 60-80k. 15k either way for especially low or high milage options.
That man has a Holden for ever price range lmao
I just want the Chevy SS he has up front
My man....holden all day
As a Kiwi it warms my heart to see Americans appreciating muscle cars from down under
"I can't believe you can buy a v6 Camry for 35 grand and yet you can get heavy appreciated classics for the same money" *Shows 3 Lambos that never were 35k* Love you Ed 🤣
Katarina Lloyd Gotta agree! Maybe at insurance auctions, flood cars?
35k won't even get you a Golf where I live...
U wonder why the left out the wrx for 25k
Wish this episode came out when I was searching for cars 2-3 weeks ago in the 30-40k budget lol, ended up settling on a lotus exige
Enjoy it for 5 years then I'd be happy to buy it off you, lol. I should have many memories in my Z4M by then and I've always wanted a Lotus. I'm super short and like cars that tall people can't drive. Sorry tall people.
I opened my mouth and inserted my foot. Just came back from your video. (Thought I recognized your handle and avatar) I'm glad you fit and happy you're already looking at track time!
Evo_Winters The you’ll love the Audi R8 Spyder. Laughable legroom for tall folks. Beautiful car otherwise.
Congratulations on your pick! Enjoy the heck out of that Exige.
That’s a great car and they hold their value
Long commercial for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage 😂
Or a Corvette C6
I Missed John Ficarra In This One!
Yeah Bro. No Ficarra, no Tavarish, no Hoovie, and no sexy ass Doris! What's up with that Bolian?
They prolly didn’t reply or didn’t reply in time.
“Or 8mpg if traveling by a tow truck” haha
I have a feeling his 35k breaks down often lol
Zach B can confirm it does. Sorry Dan ;)
The truck has to drop off the Aston first before picking up the Alfa.
@@chrisrasco6861 Alfa hasn't stranded me yet! Follow my Alfa ownership experience on VINwiki or Instagram @appmonkey!
FYI, the Alfa hasn't traveled by tow truck yet... so I've been reliably averaging 26mpg. ;)
It was a solid joke I gave a chuckle
Both are amazing facts considering lol

maybe ditch "V6 BMW M3" guy and replace him with the car wizard

14:52 idk this guy too well, but I know he has a decent knowledge of cars, he should know that BMW does NOT come with a V6
He got the configuration wrong but he's right about getting a BMW M for the price.

I missed Hoovie this week.
He'd choose a 7-series BMW for under $10k, in need of $25k in repairs! And then he would resell it for $10.5k, after it was fixed.
@@bobmcl2406 I dunno, maybe he paid $35,000 for the M coupe that's been in his garage for 6 months....
They actually listed a lot of cars he’s already owned and has had on his channel too.
that bmw 6 series at 15:30 has the ugliest wheels ever and should be taken off the car and burned
Actually, the wheels should be melted down into a bat to threaten the designer with so he/she never designs another ugly wheel like that.
the lancia delta integrale is the best pick imo
EVO 1 or EVO2 in the US Are all $50K+
The agony of a driver's car that you can't drive because parts are practically unavailable.
_Suburban_ there’s a guy here in the uk called tanc barratt, he can get all the parts and knows all about them. he did all the work on mine
Aamir Tanveer only the evos, you can get an 8v or a 16v for 35k
The Evora and especially the 4C are best answers and not expected!
C6 z06 with heads fixed. That budget gets you a really nice one and it outperforms anything on this list by a long shot.
And is dead reliable with the heads fixed to boot.
Corvette C6 ZO6. 7Lt 6 speed manual 😍

I’ve watched a bunch of these videos and honestly a lot of them go over the same cars. This video was great! It went over a lot of cars I have not thought about
W204 C63 P31 package, or a 507 edition.
Easiest choice ever!
2012-14 W204 C63 AMG Coupe with P31 Package. 6.2L Naturally Aspirated V8 that can rev up to 7200 RPM, and consistently last past 100k+ miles. Has the forged rods, pistons, and crank from the SLS AMG. ONLY downside is that it wasn’t offered in a manual.
100k aint much...
Big downside, cept in Atlanta gridlock if this stupid viral lockdown ever ends, fabulous engine, agreed, that 6.2. Getrag swap possible?
I was thinking c63 too but I think an old muscle car like a 69 camaro would be insane
̈ When you look at its competitors (M3, RS5), neither will reliably last 100k+ without fear for major problems. It may not be as reliable as a vette or old boxster, but for a 2 door car with everything its got, it’s pretty darn reliable.
@@randypobstofficial not 6.2. That's the v12. I think its the 4.0 v8
When price points get boring ask: What car got you into cars? and What car is still on your 'gotta drive' list"
14:52 bruh m3’s are inline 6..
Thank you.
Smh...
LOL thinking that you can get a NSX for $35k!
Also the fantasy 35k C7
Those are both very possible
NSX with alot of miles and no crazy kits with the turbo can be had for around 27k
C7s are in the 30s all day long! Under 30k with a manual 2014 or 2015 especially rebuilt titles
I found 2 for 35k on auto trader this morning
Here in the Spokane area, I was looking at an Acura MDX for my wife. The seller had an NSX in his garage that he estimated that he could get $25k for. I don't recall the VIN at the moment, but it's on VINwiki :)
@@chrisrasco6861 cargurus.com 1991-2005, nationwide, cheapest one is $39k with 100,000 miles

The Lancia was an excellent answer. The Aston Vantages probably are the most elegant. But I think that I’d lean towards a M/B - SL55 AMG and have some spare change. Thanks for the video.
That is just the price range video I was looking forward too
I bought my Lotus from Wire Wheel last year! Love every second of it!
The NSX would be my choice as well, or if I wanted a newer car that I could daily, a Lexus RCF used can be had for $35k
How many people have roasted that BMW guy for saying "V6" and not "I6"?
A lot lol
Great list and such variety in choices!
So glad that man mentioned Lotus! absolutelly amazing and underrated cars
Dodge VIPER 🐍 gen 3

my recent budget was about $32k...got a 2016 Mercedes C450 "AMG" - I love it!!!
The m3 is an in-line 6 not a v6 lol
he's getting super mad in the comments instead of owning it, what a loser
Thanks for the ideas, I’m looking for used in this range. Even if most are over budget/unrealistic for everyman to maintain.

How about 500$ gambler budget
5,000 and not financed . Debt free
I get a Nissan GT-R R33 for the 35K budget.
Great vid! I'd like you to make one next time asking what their recommendation is for a daily driver. Maybe under $25k
I got my 2017 SS 1LE for 34,900 with only 4K miles on it a year and a half ago! It’s got different suspension settings via the mag ride and different exhaust settings so my neighbors don’t hate me! All perfect for living in San Francisco! I love it!
35k nsx, low maintenace maserati, v6 bmw... idk Ed, you might wanna choose who do you ask better.
ROFL
The fact no one said a cts v2 is crazy to me
Great stuff!! Thanks
This one was interesting because last year I spent just a little under this on my 2015 Audi S5 cabriolet. CPO, 20k miles, tech pack, sports diff, B&O audio, carbon package and 19" rotors and I was curious if this list would have me 2nd guessing my choice. I wouldn't trade it for anything in this list. If I wasn't driving it year round and taking it on ski trips twice a week the NSX would be a possibility though. Most of the rest might be $35k to buy but you're going to spend another $35k in repairs the first year if you actually drive them.
whos selling a nsx for 35k? alright ones are 45+
I looked. There are 2 on craigslist with a manual for 37k or less. They both look horrible.
Facebook market
Some of these guys like to pick bottom of the barrel examples that don’t represent the market at all. If there’s a NSX for under $40k, there’s a reason to be highly mindful of that these guys gloss over.
Zachery Grimm lol amazing
I found two REBUILT title NSXs on CL for 35k. That's about it...
Yes!!!! Jared!!!!!!! Love ya man!!!!!! That would be an amazing build to haul your muscle / race cars around!!!!! Hell yeah brother!!!!!!
I think I have consistently had the best buying advice. Considering most of the 351s are $50k+ and the one I found was already modernized with a Cummins, it was the best of them all.
For this installment, I have to agree with Jared. Buy that ancient Peterbilt, attach a flatbed, and charge people to tow their broken exotic from track day. You can recoup your purchase price in NO time! Brilliant!!
I feel like the Cadillac CTS-V2 is very slept on. The engine and transmission are both basically bulletproof from factory, and it was a huge step up from the V1, adding a supercharger to the engine and pushing 556 hp and if you can cough up a little more than $35k you can get a wagon
3 honda civics
Same
With t66 turbos?
Do you have enough left for the spoon engines?
Jared Pink he better ask hector

Amazing video!!
9:21 is the right choice and just like the entry there’s no explanation needed!
Lancia delta
Someone finally got it right with the delta!
2018 GLA 45 is also a good play. They are right around 35k and the 2018 is the facelifted model that has much more refined shifting, shorter gearing and better styling in my opinion.
I love this series how about asking them what their dream 2, 3, 4 ,5.... car garage is?
Loving this series.
Personally, I think the best pick is a 17-19 Mustang Shelby GT350. They’re dipping down into that range for good examples, or a really nice example of the 12-15 Camaro ZL1.
TheStevenstatzer really I thought they were more like 50-60k used
They skipped a $34k video. There's a wide variety of cars available at that budget
BMW don’t make V6 engines! It’s a turbocharged in-line 6! @the BMW guy...
Mercedes ML63 AMG for all the reasons I bought one. Comfortable, fast, seating, cargo space, 7,200 lbs towing capacity, AWD, and luxurious.
Just recently bought an 2014 E63s Amg.. 577 HP AWD.. Absolutely loaded with features.. Parks itself and "practically" drives itself.. Four door panoramic roof.. Rear and front facing cameras.. Etc..
Wayyy to many of Ed's friends like Aston Martin
That Alpha is so beautiful!
Thank you, hard to photograph well, but in person it is just right. :)
I love this format with the price but maybe do the "best modable car for $x" or "the best AWD car for $x" something a little more spessific like that. We seem to get very similar answers from week to week
I'm gonna have to go with DoctaM3 on this one, Raptor sounding like the right choice for me personally, I already have an E46 and I've been exploring more so an offroad capable vehicle is more my speed.
Or a V6 BMW LOL
I can pick up a CPO M4 for $35k that would likely be my choice.
How many miles?
Probably get a mustang
Used hellcat would maybe be in that range but the miles of suffering that car has had is not worth it , maybe a m3 low mileage :)
This price point has so many good options. It would be really hard not to shop for a decent and driven muscle car. You can find many in that price to fit any style.
If I had to pick I'd pick the dodge viper. You can get a decent mid to high milage 90s dodge viper for under 40k and the parts are for the most part affordable and easy to obtain
11:32 Skinny Pedal has it right!
I can't believe I was 10 minutes in before someone said f-type.

I was gonna say the same thing Farrah.. I've had my eyes on a manual Ftype Coupe for over a year now. Hoping I can get one
Manual F-type is a great choice for around 35K, great looks, great drive, amazing sound
