This is the best of the old lady characters Kate has played over the years. Just pure bile. And JAJ was fantastic as the beaten down son. The part where they argued over Heidi "taking his sweetness" ("I gave my sweetness") and when she demanded that he hit Heidi and him not sure whether to or not was all perfectly done.

Why oh WHY is there carpet in the bathroom?!? The details in this one are just too good! 🤣🤣🤣
A friend of mine was renting an apartment back in collage, the bathroom was carpeted. She kept having health issues, not feeling well, headaches, sniffles. She would come to work all congested. Start to feel better by the end of the shift. Then come back the next day feeling the same. Turns out it was the carpet in the bathroom, hiding mold growing. Finally made the connection when she would go home to visit family for a week and feel totally fine, then start to feel like crap soon as she got back to town. Carpeting is a bad idea for bathrooms, it hides issues you can't see. I believe it turned out to be a slow leak, getting into the padding below the carpet where she never felt it, ruined the floor underneath. Some landlord probably thought the carpeting was a brilliant way to cover up a floor in need of repairs

My aging parents just replaced the carpet in their en suite bathroom with...another carpet.

"skinny Minny can't cook".... all the solid gold savagery in this skit, but it was "Skinny Minny can't cook" that dragged me into a dark alleyway and beat my ass harder than my dad ever did.

My actual live-in mother-in-law was so wary of "peepers" that she wouldn't even walk past our street-facing living room windows when they were uncovered. So this hits A LITTLE CLOSE SNL.
How did you stand it? We currently have two impossible mothers-in-law, both of whom would love to move in with us. So, my husband flat-out told my mother that if she moved in, he'd be moving out (and though we haven't discussed it with her there's no way either of us are living with his awful mother). Luckily, my mother can afford to live on her own with help. As for my m-i-l, she doesn't even understand that she didn't raise her kids (her own now-dead mom did everything before the kids left for college... which they paid for themselves with financial aid & loans; my inlaws were useless & didn't help at all). My m-i-l thinks that she should move in bc her own mother lived with her family (ignoring the fact that her mother was helpful while she herself is not: we're already supporting her financially & thanks to her stroke she can't be trusted to look after children).
Lol My friends sister was on meth really bad and she had the same issue...she told me her sister would literally do the army crawl to get past the windows🤦🏾♀️ She has MANY crazy stories of her sister during those times lol

OMG, this is so hilariously accurate with how some mothers act toward a son and his wife. Those moms always try to take over when moving in someone else's house. The overburdened care of the old cat is spot on as well. *Deep sigh* Dreading the day my mom moves in. I can't let it be like this.
Yeah, my mil is the same way. Anytime she has come over temporarily and spent the night, she wants to take over. I already told my husband that when the day comes he can just move in with her in her house, and take care of her. You can't have 2 queens in one house. 🏠

Look man. I am all about the red pill. Is divorce unfair for men? Yes. Do modern women love opportunistically? Absolutely. Do many average looking women have ridiculous standards for men? Yes. But you can't be a grown man with your own place and have your mom live with you. It makes you look like a mama's boy. How would you like it if your wife demanded that your father in law move into YOUR house? Yes people should talk to their parents. But you also got to be an adult
hard pass on relatives moving in unless i love them to pieces. that's a boundary you draw hard and early in a relationship
