I love how I always stumble across better singers than I ever hear on the radio on CZcams.
The radio is dead.. Radio is only listened to by the lower classes of society that do not have the disposable income to afford streaming media, hence their music dominates these so called 'Popular Charts'.. basically Radio is free streaming for the less fortunate, and the level of the music found there pretty much reflects the entire class that listens to it, at least that's how it is over here in the Netherlands.
@@hvanmegen In ass backwards US you will find that the Radio reflects the charts on streaming sites. People will buy whatever garbage they are told to here. It was more of an allegory that encompasses all popular mainstream music than a literal comparison. I personally only listen to talk radio or am constantly streaming Jazz or Techno on my phone. Mostly because I can not stand commercials.
