You re not well informed. This video is clickbait! Most structural parts cannot be made with an FDM or SLA home printers because it is difficult to get the mechanical properties of an injection molded or machined part. They will either have poor layer adhesion when built on the Z axis or be super brittle in the case of a home SLA machine. You need a significant investment and a shop (I work in one)to come up with usable parts for RC cars or anything subjected to any kind of loading

Literally every rc car has every part replaceable. Also, seeing sales on Etsy doesn't tell you sales for that one listing. Those numbers are for the whole store...lol

Excellent. What are your thoughts on SLA vs FDM? I am contemplating what machine to buy

Fdm less problems but looks not cool as sla and the pronts are only 20% higher but fdm pronters are 500% more expensive

Help with advice please - I want to sell finished printed items that I have designed. I do have the marketing skills and have an online presence. I don't have time to run a print farm, I need to keep control of the STL the only way I can see this happening is if I get a 3rd party to print and post each order to the customer for me. Does anyone know if such a service exists and is it worthwhile? I know of shapeways, Craft cloud, cults 3d, my mini factory & ch trader but don't know how they operate. I appreciate all feedback and comments. Thanks

The calculation you did is absolutely wrong. You are not taking into account production cost, filament, shipping, chargebacks. Like what the heck, at best the profit margin are 40%.
