    I was just walking in my neighborhood and I saw this triangle on the floor and took a picture and the Google lens thingy said it was a shuffleboard, then I went to CZcams and searched for "shuffleboard" and this came out. Thanks for the explanation

    Very good shuffleboard introduction tutorial! I would only always recommend to give 2 steps, first one with your leg from the same size of your hand holding the cue. I think it’s better for balance your swing, giving more accuracy. But nice job! CZcams needs more videos like that to help promote this amazing sport!

    Very informative introduction and much needed because there isn't that much about the game on youtube. I hope you make another video covering the intermediate level of play; and maybe cover good methods of waxing the discs and why those dimples on the discs are colored.

      Why are the dimples colored ??

    • @rackyballboa5744
      @rackyballboa5744 Před 3 lety +1

      @@therrienmichael08 I was told by Josh at the Allen R Shuffleboard Co. the following: "Tournament players and clubs will number discs (color the dimples) so they are able to identify them. If you sense that one of the discs is a little slower or faster you can choose to use that disc for clearing a disc off the board or placing a block while avoiding using it for scoring since the speed difference could cause you to shoot long or short. Because tournament players usually shoot the discs in order (one colored dimple to 4 colored dimples) from 1 to 4 sometimes disc 1 can end up a little slower due to being the first disc on the board meaning it gets knocked off the board and drug through the alley between the courts more often than disc 4. The other thing clubs will do is mark the discs using different colors to prevent the discs from getting mixed up with the discs from nearby courts"

    • @DarrylKenyon
      @DarrylKenyon  Před 2 lety +1

    By you walking on the board to see if the yellow disk was a good shot or not, was not very safe as you are not supposed to walk in the court. You would need to get down on hands and knees and lean over.
