"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care"
"Having gratitude and not expressing is like wrapping a present and not giving it"
Mental jewels.
I think one of Lewis's most transformative times was when he was just doing salsa dancing. Why? Because 1) It got him learning a new skill. 2) Befriending (not networking) people of different interests and backgrounds. And 3) Opened his mind up with new possibilities and ideas.
Think a lot of the other information he gives is solid but common within the lifestyle sphere. Great interview, Chase!
I love Lewis Howes and Chase Jarvis LIVE--it keeps you hydrated on your entrepreneurial journey.
This guy (Lewis) &Chase& Tim Ferris --> why I made up my bed this morning. makes a difference 👍
This interview with Lewis Howes really hit home for me as an artist with a sporting background. It’s been a challenge for me to have the two disciplines complement one another. Great to hear others making it work, keep it up guys.
Chase your 30 days of greatness has been a valuable resources for me thanks so much for putting this project out there.
Holy S ... t, this may very well be one of the best 30 Day interviews to date for these curious eyes and ears. As an ongoing Toastmaster, photographer and creative, I found this highly, highly inspirational. Thank you CJ.
My two favourites interviewers/entrepreneurs together! Great to see another talk with you two together. Interesting about the lone wolf, i heard another podcast from Lewis last week on this topic. Definitely something i need to work on at the moment. Great new tips i havent heard before, ie the certificate you sign and frame as a form of visualisation. Thank you so much you Both! Grateful.
This was one of the most inspiring videos I've ever seen. Truly, a great story. Thank you for sharing!
It's great to hear people fight the notion that jocks are airheads or that sports are somehow unintellectual.
Albert Camus, one of my favourite writers / philosophers was a professional football (soccer) player when he was young, and said: "Everything I know about morality and the obligations of men, I owe it to football"
This was great. Thanks so much Lewis & Chase
Catching up on the 30 days of genius series. Thanks Chase! Awesome and inspiring. Lewis Howes killed it!
This is my favorite one so far. Really resonated with me
Some much goodies in this podcast/video-seminar I agree one of my favourite interviewers ;) Thanks Chase for these seminars its like a Christmas coming gifts every day in middle of May !
Thanks for this! Great interview and really encouraging for me as I get clarity on my vision.
you are awesome Lewis! love your spontaneity
Rudy ALWAYS makes me cry! I'm so in love with these interviews. Thank you so much for creating these!
More on the way!
You're videos completely ROCK
On Lewis's point about not being a lone wolf, I was reading a book on sketching and watercolor. The author was talking about creating your style. He went into some history and mentioned that "movements" are rarely created by a single artist but by a group of artists pushing it forward.
+ChaseJarvis I would love to here more from you on visualization. I think you mentioned that you do it in the Forleo interview. Maybe Snapchat some content around how you use visualization? Nice work on these videos!
Second guest in a row that equates wedding job with being a photographer. Interesting.
Chase, thanks for the whole series. I am watching in the same order as they where posted; i guess I am about half-way now and have really learned a lot.
So inspiring! I just gave one of my worst speeches ever a few weeks ago, but now I'm gonna go back at it. :)
yes! go back and back and back. You are amazing for just saying you are going back.
Boom! First comment. Yeehaaa! now back to the show. great to have you back CJ
Love this interview!
Is thee a link to Lewis's podcast (can't find it)?
AM Nora you should be able to find it if you search School of Greatness or Lewis Howes on iTunes. Sorry I don't have a link ready but he's been doing it long enough that it should pop up for you. I love it!
Love the Movie Love Actually.
It’s true
There are some comments about Lewis being fake, and I can see where they're coming from because.. by the way he speaks he does seem kind of fake and forced positive. But maybe the lesson from this is.. you can also become successful by being fake positive and whatever, you just need to do SOMETHING!
LewisHowes, Are you ok?
*best-selling author that got someone else to write a book for him
+Eva Green Fan Most creatives who are not authors by trade have ghost writers or a team to help them. It doesn't stop it from being his information or story. Heck, just listen to the struggles he had less than 10 years ago and how he turned it around. He obviously has information to share.
Phathom yes, you;re right. But he sells himself as an "author" which is complete bullshit.
+Eva Green Fan and what is a lifestyle entrepreneur when he's at home? sounds very "snake oil" to me. life coaches are in the same box, complete nonsense for gullible rubes.
+0tispunkm3y3r I know. These types of people live fake lives. What the fuck is a "lifestyle entrepreneur" hahahaha. Lewis sounds and looks fake. 99% of life coaches and "business experts" don't know shit about anything. They just copy other people, tell people what to do and how to do it, even though they've never done it themselves. I mean Lewis's original "business" that made him popular was a fucking LinkedIn course lmao. They failed in their professional and personal lives.
There are only a few truly great individuals in this industry. Ramit Sethi is definitely one.
I agree with you 100%. Lewis is a fake loser. Yes he's inspirational, and positive and blah blah blah. But he's fake as fuck. And therefore a loser.
Oh Shit, that was weird. No fruits except apples and bananas?
