And since I work 12 hours a day 5 days a week with a lot of downtime, I load up entire TV series onto the phone and stream them onto a larger monitor at work, plus I got windows 10 installed onto my S9+ for when I use the the DeX Pad and 50 gig of music.
Where are all the repair shops in Shenzhen/HK that do this?? I've contacted numerous ones through Google and all said they don't do it. This is a huge goldmine!!!

I remember when ram check was 64kb and floppy only held 256kb. You could buy HD. HD meant High Density not Hard Drive. Back then 20MB c: drive would mean that you won't have to swap floppy. And some sizable game came in 5 to 6 disc pack.

In truth though it’s a total waste of money now. The iPhone 7 chip and other components are several years old now & you can buy 1tb model phones with much higher end chips /cameras for much much less

Currently I have only about 100GB of my 256GB iPhone 8 Plus’s storage available. And I’ve had the phone for only about 6 or 7 months now. I imagine his music collection is all compressed audio, as my music library takes up nearly 100GB so far, and it continues to gradually grow too.
As a lossless music enthusiast this makes sense since I carry an external DAC along with my 256GB iPhone X and I have left now around 60GB. Add some 4K60fps video and it will be filled in a matter of months.

You guys should do yourselves a favor and fill it up at least once and make sure that the memory is still readable. Even though it may correctly display the capacity that doesn't mean that the OS supports it. If the OS doesn't support it, as you store over the OS maximum it'll wrap around and begin writing at the beginning of the chip overwriting all of the OS partitioning data and directory - or whatever the OS is using that area of the memory for and that could turn real ugly real fast.
So like...if you have a 256 gb phone phone and ios doesnt support over that, as soon as you get to 257gb, it'd erase 1gb from the system memory at the beginning in order to store that new information? :O That'll crash your iPhone indefinitely

If u don’t have enough storage just buy a cheap m.2 ssd. Make sure ur motherboard supports m.2 first. If not just spend 50 dollars on an ssd. Computer storage expansion is extremely easy.

Memory upgrade at the malls in China is like a screen repair shop in American malls. Very common. I had my battery replaced ($15) and memory upgrade from 16 to 128 for $75 last month.

I always go for the higher storage variant too. I’m currently using a 128 GB iPhone 6s Plus. I was contemplating on getting the 2018 iPhone, whatever it’s gonna be called. I just don’t know if I’ll use enough of 256 GB’s to warrant getting the higher variant this time. I wish Apple would bring back the 128 GB option!

If u don’t have enough storage just buy a cheap m.2 ssd. Make sure ur motherboard supports m.2 first. If not just spend 50 dollars on an ssd. Computer storage expansion is extremely easy.
