How do you remove the ribbon cable?

versus I will see if I still have the laptop. I will try and get a video removing the LCD ribbon cable.

do you know where i could find a control board for this display with HDMI.

I do not. I didn't realize that they came with HDMI ports as the ones that I have fixed did not have that option.
