Your tutorials really make me feel like I've wasted the last decade of my life at school, you definitely are better at teaching than my professors are
Bosses who are willing to locally produce electronic accessories such as solder paste, liquid flux, Thinner, tin bar, tin wire, tin powder and red glue, please feel free to contact me through the following methods: WhatsApp and WeChat Tel: +86 18923773729; E-mail: 767774423@qq .com,Tweeter ID:@kama30793126
What a statement! Wow! That's awesome.
May be you were a bad student ?
I definitely love that you've aimed this at hobbyists and recommend going cheap on equipment to start, helps give those entry level people confidence that they will be fine to start off with basic equipment instead of worrying about getting more expensive stuff.
I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now but have decided to start at the beginning as my new soldering station has arrived in the country from wish. Happy new year to me, but more importantly, thank God there are people out there so very generous with their time and knowledge. Thank you.
I'm really glad to have found this series and your channel! Thank you for all your effort and explanations, you are a great teacher.
I'm one second into this video and I must stop to commend you on your absolutely gorgeous wall decorations. If I wasn't in a wheelchair I would be replicating that fantastic room decor myself in my room.
This guy is an amazing teacher, this is the first video I’ve come across and I can already tell I’m gonna learn so much
I do professional board repair everyday when it comes to soldering irons you don't get more with more expensive ones. The important thing is to get a t12 cartridge style tip that has the heating element in the tip, not the old fashioned ceramic heating element that the tip sits around. There's tons of knock offs that can be had for as little as 20-30 bones. I have a hakko but I almost never use it and use my knock off t12 i got for 25 dollars on amazon. Also for board repair 2 soldering irons is much more valuable than 1 valuable one. It makes removing smd components very easy like smd resistors and leds. A good iron stand that preferably has a spot for brass shavings and a sponge is also a good investment. I don't use my hakko station much at all but I do use the stand.
I'm only 5 minutes in, and wow! I can't wait to check out more of your channel. And THANK YOU for truly starting with an introduction on budget equipment and scope of the video series... I've done very basic soldering and repairs for years, but always been more of a software guy, looking to learn more hardware repairs and understanding. Ok, onto the rest of the video!
Simple and awesome intro!

Good introduction and great tutorials. Keep them coming . Thanks
Now that I will have all the necessary equipment (including an analog oscilloscope, for more learning) I will get a damaged or non starting powerbook board, so I can go along with you in all the basics more easily. I have an accessory question, if you don't mind : what can be written for a sensing current resistor, on the board ? (should it be written Rcs every time or most often) . I did see Louis Rossman using a software that links the schematics with the board layout (but it seem to be somewhat expensive, not really possible for my level of learning ;) ) Best regards
And subscribed... Thanks for the information!

@AdamantIT wonderful content. I have a m-atx Mobo (MSI k9agm4) which seems to have a short. I have checked and all surface mount caps close to cpu socket are shorted. CPU is not installed and also RAM is not installed. This Mobo is outdated but would be a great learning experience. Please advise me where to start, I'll get you more details if required.👍

Hi, thank you for your tutorials. I need help with hp proone 400 g2 touch that has no power. I changed adaptor and even applied 19.5 from bench power supply but draws no current. I assume that indicate no short circuit on the board, but does not power up. I have reset the CMOS battery , but also didn't help. NO led light is on once you plug power in or when you press power button. Any idea what is it? Very much appreciated.
Nice information

HELLO ADAMENT! Am an avid Subscriber, you are my first 'Go to' when diagnosing PC issues! I recently built a new Computer in my old Tower with an MSI Z390-A PRO Motherboard with an Intel Pentium Gold Processor G5400 CPU @ 3.7GHz! Next added 64.0 GB DDR4 3200 Ram! Also a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1 Video Card! Recently upgraded all my HHD's with an Intel 660p Series M.2 1 TB SSD Drive C and two WD I TB internal SSD's! My Computer now boots up completely for a cold start in 30 seconds!!!! (Once in a while when I turn it on, it Boots into the Bios Screen)!!!(But when I wont to boot into Bios, no matter what key combination I press it wont go into Bios on Command)! Windows will not display on my Digital Monitor but I can see the Bios Screen on another HDMI Output to my 32 inch TV! Am running XMP Mode and Gaming Mode on the MSI along with allocating 3/4 of my Ram to Process my Adobe Premiere 2022! My Question is: How do I get the computer to Boot into Windows EVERY TIME? And secondly, How do I get my computer to boot into Bios on command?
what an amazing tutorial i ever got, please sir how could i get the schematics diagram?
Hi Adam, having downloded openboardviewer I can't get to find anything on the schematic PDF, what am I doing wrong?
Tv repair men didnt have these schematics back in the 80s and 90s yet they still managed to fix the tv / vcr without a schematic.
Heck even today we have repair men that dont use schematics to find a bad component.
May you tell me what is the best resources to learn laptop repair
Thanks 👍
Hello, I have a problem with a laptop lcd/led port on an Acer AN515-42 laptop that has been partially burnt out this is after I installed a replacement lcd cable. I do have a picture or so. What do you charge? Could you fix something like this at all?
Sir please where can i download these .brd files from.
Hi,
I have a schematic in pdf file. But how can i get the .brd file to using openboardview?
thanks you sir
If I'm not mistaken, the board you held up isn't a MBP but a White unibody MacBook (A1342) ... :)
Get a good soldering iron. Critical. I thought I was terrible at soldering until I bought a real one. Hakko 888d is $60-80 and I still use it and have several irons now. The $20 eBay special (2 of them) flat out didn’t work
Good basic 👍
Thank you for your tutorials, could you guys share where are you looking for the schematics?
Many thanks

Hi Sir How i get file board for use with program openboardview ?
On two occasions, in the video, the physical board is held up to compare to the board-view on the screen... Both times, the board is held upside down compared to the image. Just an observation. ;-]
In 10 minutes, and after 36 years in IT, I learned how to see what that inflated capacitor is doing (or not doing) in that old ASUS motherboard that went belly up last week...
Good enough for me to subscribe.
