- After several requests, we finally got together to show how to make a better Smashburger on the blackstone griddle, we're calling it the Return of the Smash! The Smashburger has become one of our favorite things to cook on the Blackstone griddle, and we wanted to show how to make a better smashburger on our first time being together in months! Check out our take on the better smashburger we made on the Blackstone griddle!

My fiancé dies for smash burgers on my blackstone. I use a piece of parchment paper between my burger and smasher. Keeps it from sticking to the meat and the smasher. I grind my own meat with my kitchen aid grinder. Put salt and pepper only and my special sauce similar but better than Big Mac. Nice video!
Awesome! Yes, we did another Smashburger video and I used the parchment paper - I still do from time-to-time - this xl press with a little oil works awesome. Brett likes only S&P as well - would love to try with some good sauce!🤙🤙 (so sorry, had to edit, didn’t realize the autocorrect was so bad!🤣)

I did the mayo toast on some breakfast sandwiches recently. I added some dried rosemary, garlic paste and some dried parmesan mixed in. It was for the outside of the bread. It was pretty good.
That’s awesome! We’d have to try that - I know there’s a debate about which is better for grilled cheese, butter vs. mayo - we’ll try that one as well!😄
Butter and mayo mixed. You get the spreading and toasting of the mayo and butter flavor. One thing I'm planning on trying is a smashed patty melt.

Oh awesome! Yes, love the XL Press from Blackstone - I put a little vegetable oil on it and rub it in before I use it to make sure it doesn’t stick, but it’s been amazing! We used the same ores for our Cuban sandwiches! Thank you so much for watching!🤙🤙

How about smash burger 3.0? Chop up some bacon into small pieces and mix in with the ground beef. Add in a little garlic powder, salt pepper and a bit of oil into the mix, then separate into meat balls. I made some this way the other night on my Blackstone and it was seriously one of the best burgers I ever ate!

Gary Carter - coconut water daily will also greatly help with that. Preferably fresh young Thai coconuts but canned will work as well as long as coconut water is the only ingredient. No sugar or flavors added.

WALTWINS being from canada and you said using deli sliced fresh cheese is your go to would i ask for american cheddar cause a lot of videos i see everyone likes to use process cheese, i’m not a real fan of process so do i just ask for aged/old cheddar etc... thanks guys

I’ve tried EVERY Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Navy Exchange... even Amazon and the Blackstone website don’t have them available [unless I want to pay outrageously high prices!]. I’m glad I don’t have an urgent need...soon enough!

Adam my wife was saying to me . Have the boys make a blue cheese burger with a hole in the middle stuff blue cheese and add another patty with bacon tomato onind and when u bite the burger have melted blue cheese oozing out of the middle of the burger ... 😋😀

To prevent bacon from curling light your griddle and immediately start placing your bacon on it turn the burner all the way down low and let it sizzle takes a little longer but bacon done ness is easily controlled and oh so delicious. Question why don’t you use right side of griddle to toast buns while burgers are finishing? Never tried a smash burger guess what’s for supper?

Buy bacon that is not injected with water/brine, the junk we get at the stores curls as it is full of water.

The Smashburger restaurant chain builds them with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, Smash Sauce, & ketchup. Smash Sauce is a simple mayonnaise-based sauce with plenty of yellow mustard thrown into the mix, a few chopped dill pickles, and some pickle juice for an additional tang. A splash of vegetable oil helps bring the whole sauce together, and then it goes into the fridge for at least four hours to let the flavors mingle.
