KOA Clearwater Lake Tarpon | Downtown Tarpon Springs | Sunset Beach

- This week we head to the KOA Clearwater Lake Tarpon resort to meet up with our friends, Craig and Susan from Georgia. They stopped here for a couple nights on their way down to the Florida Keys, which originally we were supposed to go with them, but work got in the way. This was our first time staying at this KOA although we had visited this KOA last year when Mike and Lynn Wagner from wondering Wagner’s stayed there for a few days.
While we were there, we went to Sunset Beach to listen to some live music and watch the sunset. On Friday we went downtown Tarpon Springs for dinner at Dimitri’s, and the food was excellent!
While we were in Tarpon Springs, we visited one of our favorite local shops Lori’s soaps. Every time we interpret Springs, we have to stop in here and restock up on some awesome handmade soaps with real sponges.

I guess I didnt realize how many seagulls were above when at the Beach 😳. That was crazy. Beautiful campground BTW. So plush and the shade had to help cool the RV. What a hot start to the summer here in our great State.

The Wicked Bao in Fernandina Beach is a very cool place to eat. The Palace is one of the oldest bars in Florida too. We stumbled on the Shrimp Festival there a few years ago. It’s a great little town.

No never have. My sister has gone to it couple times though. That sounds fun. 😁
