I appreciate they make the friendship of Ellie and Sam more like an older sister younger brother energy
Yeah I was curious how they gonna make Sam interested in Eillie but them being siblings is better
@@nathaann8790 peers will always have awkward encounter from the start so with the amount of time they know each other it won’t generate as much emotional response in this short amount of time, however when they give them age gap, the older kid(Ellie) will subconsciously generate a sense of responsibility to the younger kid(Sam), it just works
@@kalvin187douglasboth are fine imo
@@nathaann8790well he knew he was infected so he was acting weird. Going through something that you're so scared of tends to do that
Trauma is so different for people and I always felt Sam was the type to withdraw and be cynical. Maybe I am wrong on this! @@nathaann8790
“I’m the bad guy because I did a bad guy thing.”
Watching this scene hit so different after watching the season finale 😭
Can't believe they kept this underground school from the game :") Sam and Ellie were absolutely adorable in this
Agreed
It was sort of presented in a different way in the game. I recently watched this guys walkthrough and it goes over tho scene in a different way: czcams.com/video/YEJtlcZayIk/video.html
Makes you wonder if things went down south, either way way the same outcome happens or not?
It was in the game…
It’s in the game tho
someone didn't play the game...
"It's easy. I'm a bad guy because I did a bad guy thing."
Love how it directly speaks to Joel's own dilemma later. He's forced to commit terrible atrocities and basically toss the whole world in the trash to save someone who wouldn't want him to become such a monster.
And it gives you understanding why he would snap after this arc ended.
All of that sacrifice. Lost in the washer.
"But you get it, though. You might not be her father, but you were someone's." -Henry to Joel
Mmm...love that line 👌.
2:56-4:36 One of the best scenes in the entire show. I am in utter love with what this show did with Henry
Was awesome to see them include the under ground school this is probably my favorite episode so far
Anyone else remember Ish? What a cool Easter Egg
The best foreshadowing in the show so far ❤️
Ish unironically top tier character in TLOU universe
So many good scenes with this show
Thank you so much for uploading this! Was looking for this scene!
I was always asking for a game centered on Ish and these people
Me too, but you COULD ask for a game or at least DLC about a LOT of the back stories in the game, Ish, Sam and Henry, Tess and Joel and Tommy between 2013 and 2033, The Fireflies.
Looks so like and reminiscent of that scene in the game, very good set build.
This episode was my favourite
Need a gameplay side story for ish
Best series for me ❤❤❤😊👌
Adorable.

This is a magic slate paper saver
🤓🙃
Edit: Woody Woodpecker edition
😁😆
I was literally expecting the dead kids that were shot because they are trapped
To bad they never showed the military radio station from the game version. In the TV series they all ended up in the motel to be safe after they got away from the rebel army and the swarm of infected.
This gives me ps3 last of us vibes😃😃😃😃😃
Wonder if Ish is going to be in the show
0:40 ISH
Always got the impression this joel is softer.
They definitely humanised him more and added some layers - I think they needed to tbh for a TV show. Although I love the first game, I have to admit in some way's I prefer Pedro's interpretation of the character more than the game's. Feels a bit more 3-dimensional and it fits the more realistic tone of the show.
Damn I actually forgot he’s deaf in this adaption
Great episode but wish they would’ve had at least a few infected down there in the school. Don’t get me wrong, the hoard they had was awesome but it I wish there were more infected in random parts.
From a video game standpoint, more infected is good since it is dependent on game play. But for a TV series, spaces to take a breath exists to not overwhelm the audience with pure action scenes. Plus while there are no infected in that place, its lost history echoes the fact that it is not safe to stay and anything they do within those walls will end up lost as the actions taken by those who inhabited it before.
Low-key i would have done the same thing. It's messed up, but my family comes first.
Can u post the scene were he attacks her?
You are sick!
@@lindzeesouperocd7558 why is he sick?
@@lindzeesouperocd7558 I edit and I needed the scene whats wrong with it/
Always thought walking dead sucked, watched it, only first 2 seasons were good. This series is (in my opniob) so much better. You can't blame twd tho, they have horrible writers.
Why Sam isn't speaking?
Idk either they decided to make him asl in the hbo series...
@@scoobz4177 i can look through the questionable casting choices
But i just cant do the same with steering away too much from the source material
@@gergopiroska5749 bro, it makes almost no difference that Sam is deaf. Like ffs
@@gergopiroska5749 dude, Bella's acting stole this episode. You people cry too much about if she looks or not like the damn game
@@Maikyl. im not talking about her casting
Im talking about Sarah's, Tommy's and a few other characters
Him being deaf makes the "what if they're still inside" scene less impactful and dramatic too
I wanted to see something closer to the original game
Gory, less cringe and less woke
Whats next? David's gonna be a transgender?
Like come on ffs
Should of gave up his sister instead pfft
Refuse the jibby jab.
Walking dead reddit edition
I watched all of twd and half of the seasons were complete ass with some shorty acting by some characters and boring ass walking zombies
@@codyhuber4252 not really a fan on twd but at least it wasn’t reddit

@@AlexanderMacAoidh shut up and enjoy the gay reddit tv show

Is there any action in this show or all just bla bla bla
That's what your mom said.
If you really think the action is the most important part of this show, I doubt you can be helped, but I'll try. The whole point of this series, the game, is about how people crack and break under stress and grief and bond in terrible circumstances, doing terrible things to survive and to protect the ones they love. The apocalypse is honestly just the backdrop to the characters.
@@Anonie324 yes exactly, so if you don't show any of that stressful world they live in, it doesn't make any fucking sense does it. The game was so popular because of its mix of action and story. You remove all the action (which conveniently cuts all the most expensive segments to film) and you destroy the pacing, the excitement, and the world building.
This is a series made out of a game. Keeping things the exactly as it was in the game with more story content . The cast was perfect not race swapped like most of the other series. Except for the unnecessary gay couple side story. That wasn't in the game, they pushed it.
Dude what
@@finnsimpson5253 sorry I was sleepy when i typed it. Just fixed that lol
@@faizanraza255 no I meant the part where you complained about the ‘unnecessary gay couple side story’ that they apparently ‘pushed’
@@finnsimpson5253 oh yeah that was unnecessary and pushed. Just like the entire pride agenda.
@@faizanraza255 awww lil homophobe gonna cry? That was one of the greatest pieces of art in recent film and TV and you’re whining on about the ‘pride agenda’
If you think about it, Joel is being exactly like The Mandalorian protecting Grogu!! Except instead of other worldly creatures it’s Clickers 🧭🗺️🔫⚕️🧥🧟♂️
