- It's holiday time so thought I’d share my favourite place in Tenerife. We can all dream and plan for the next time we hopefully go overseas.
Los Gigantes has so much to offer, quieter, beautiful cliffs, natural pool, marina boat tours. I think it is a more authentic Tenerife experience, the best of both worlds.
There are also some amazing walks and hiking nearby, and places to explore like Masca, and Santiago del Teide. Then there are beaches and restaurants in Playa La Arena and Los Gigantes itself which are more commercial. Not forgetting of course the incredible sunsets and views of La Gomera.

At the bottom of the stairs behind you is the hotel I'm going to. I will be there for the fourth time. Los Gigantes is a beautiful place.

Tenerife is a poor mans paradise and I'm happy with that. I have many memories from different holidays here. I took my ill mother here 12 months before she died, it was lovely.
Not sure about poor but I get what you mean. It can be good value, not sure about at the moment though👍

Thanks Mike and Sue and welcome. We were fortunate to spend almost 4 months in Tenerife last winter so I kept busy making a few videos. Hope they are helpful. I also was able to capture some amazing scenery on hikes with the drone. Can’t wait to visit again sometime soon 👍😄

My kids learned to scuba dive in that rock pool, missing the place at the moment.
We used to scuba diver from Playa la Arena nearby

I love it there, if you're up for a big hike I fully recommend heading along the trip to el bujero or catching the bus to Santiago del Teide and heading over to Masca

Them cliffs are incredible Richard. I'd love to swim that pool and just meditate upon them. I can see why you return to Tenerife - you can get to know it and authentic towns like this. Lovely place and one with some awe to. Mark
Hi Mark - I returned in my head by putting my old footage together. I made the video but did n’t put it out earlier, because people could not go. As things open up I thought this may now help some people who are planning to go. I would love to go again one day. It’s stealth camps down the road for me at the moment 👍

I used to holiday in this area for my whole 2 weeks at a time. Then it was 1 wk here, 1 in Las Am. Route 66 is/was a great rock music bar, & Highland Paddy's is better than the ones down South. I used to swim across the bay facing the hotel.

Thank you - Yes very friendly I am not sure about properly sales but may be cheaper as less convenient location.

Costa 'Adehe'? Its pronounced as Cost 'Adeki'.
Most of your short video is not Los Gigantes but Puerto Santiago ,and playa La Arena. Ok the marina was in Los Gigantes. Suggesting people visit that natural pool is irresponsible, locals who have seen dozens of rescues of swimmers swept from there are campaigning for it to be broken up , to save lives.
