Absolute couple goals. Not only are they able to bond over a fun experience, but they seem genuinely supportive. They're very cute. I'd love to see them in a 2x2 game like the Damacles Crusade game
Yeah this was actually an awesome game to watch. Two generals battling it out but thoroughly in love. Go figure! This was really cool to watch.
I wish my wife would do the same lol. Thinks gaming is dumb and "allows" me time to play occasionally. Which makes it hard to enjoy because i know she hates it.

Intentional or not, I love the story told with the terrain. You have all these medieval houses in the ruins of big Imperial structures. To me it implies the world used to have a bigger imperial presence and more advanced technology for the common folk. But then it was all devastated in an attack or the planet stopped receiving as many resources from off world. So they poured everything they had into supporting a Noble Knight House to protect them from invaders. Thus inadvertently turning it into a feudal world
PLEASE have them back and battling it out with the other winning personalities on this incredible channel.
Such an epic battle, nail-biting til almost the very end. This has to be the first time I've seen a list focus so heavily on having as high a number of bodies on the table as possible, and I'd love to see how some of my own lists would fare against something like that.
Btw, it would be cool to see some more 2v2 or FFA games. Get more people in and get some good strategizing between players.
This is definitely one of my favorite episodes. I declare myself a fan 🦾of that army of Knights.

The commentator really makes these videos for me. So captivating to listen to his voice. the editing and the filming are also magnificent.
(Before watching): Going into this, of course as a Nid player I'm defs rooting for the nid player (I also say as a friend of mine does have a knight army). I am pretty worried about so many gants since they aren't gonna do much to knights. But it is an unusual list in gorgon which is a pleasant surprise, except gorgon will not help against knight outside of wound reroll. If anything I'd rather jorm so you'll have a harder time getting shot from a distance, or my mainstay behemoth for the king of wounding in melee (for nids anyway). That all said I'm still curious how this'll go!
(After watching): HOLY CRAP all the gants! I was very worried they wouldn't do enough but I admit I underestimated the 2 tervigons constant respawning the gants back for staying power. Congrats to the nids player! Doing the hive mind proud. Good job to the knight player as well! It was MUCH closer then I'd anticipated.

As someone relatively new to Warhammer, this was extremely fun to watch and one of the closer matches I think I've seen. So very different in their styles. If Chloe hadn't had those bad rolls in the start, this was a completely different match.

What hive fleets? I run behemoth myself.
At my start of warhammer I created my Owen hive fleet and I called it hive fleet chaos and after 2 and a half years I wanted to try the behemoth color scheme and noch ich have a half half army I have a lot of models in both color schemes.
I recently just got into Warhammer 40k myself and found myself drawn to Tyranids I painted them with the sliver queen color scheme from mtg.
It's really nice how he's supporting her and how she's enjoying this game and enjoying his support. Cool couple. 👍

I like that the knights are painted different colors, as each pilot would paint it based off their individual heraldry rather than an army uniform

As far as getting the kids involved, I know i'm starting mine with painting. She loves when dad brings home a new model for her to paint.
Ours were super into painting, but when it came to getting them to play, no dice.. heh
I love seeing other couples playing together! Got my wife into the hobby and now she proudly stomps around for the Emperor with her Blood Angels and Sisters of Battle and is even starting a third army for Craftworlds.

That remembers me when I played my first Apocalypse game back in 7th edition, with my formation of tervigons against knights and Eldari... My friends shot 40 gaunts from the table, I brought back 60...it was such a nightmare xD

good match explaining why a perceptor or a warden is a list must for knights, her list doesn't have a reliable hoard chewer, and thats always been the snake that bites a knight list, getting tarred in and objectived out. a perceptor honestly is probably the best add, for a list that has armigers in any numbers, its got similar range to the errant if its running the AT las impulsar profile, but also better equipped to run off hoards with the low intensity if you need it. if your just looking for a dedicated hoard chewer though its hard to beat a warden. (valiants are way more points)

It's easy to backseat game, and Chloe did very well with a faction that has a reputation for having a tough time against high model count armies, but I think if she had targeted down each unit of screening nids, a lot fewer of them would have been coming back each turn, and her knights could have been getting at the bigger bugs in the back sooner.
Would it have been enough to swing a victory? Did Brent have a plan to counter to that play? We'll never know. All in all, good battle, slogged it out right till the end, and a happy couple able to enjoy a hobby together is a wonderful thing -- hope to see them back for a doubles match up, fighting alongside one another instead of on opposite sides of the table!

So when I tried making a force on battlescribe app, it told me I can only have 5 actual knights in a Super-Heavy Detachment. She has 6 models here right? How is that?

Was having fun watching the fight on one side of the board I totally forgot about him quietly hiding on 2 objectives. Im new to this so I was thinking the whole time he should have ran something into the backfield to take her objectives once things started dieing. He won so I guess it didn't matter.

Oh legit BOOF, no spoiler on who won, but gonna say this was a GREAT MATCH. Would not want to paint, but love to see the absolute horde of gaunts out there. And big stompy robots are big stompy robots and are therefore always awesome.
My take away is if you want to kill haunts with a feel no pain who can respawn by the bucket load, ensure they are dead. Focus fire or ignore them till the big things are dead.

After years of eating imperial guard, the nids adapted and try drowning the big monsters in bodies. Seems like the guard are onto something there.

either i missed something or we never got told what Knight House/Questor Chloe was playing. and correct me if i'm wrong Noble sacrifice can only be used once saw her use it at 22:53 and 44:30, a bit nit picky but as a knight player it was a wait a minute moment.
