Legend, regardless of how he left. Was ready to fight and die for the badge every time he stepped on the pitch for us. Greatest LB in the history of the game.
Even after all these years, I still believe that Wenger made a huge mistake letting Ashley Cole leave. The club should've paid him what he deserved. One of the best LBs of all time. He was equally adept at both defending and attacking.
Exactly
I still remember, cashley Cole, they call him 😂
I mean we had an all time great full back straight from our academy and they couldn't enough to keep him. One of the biggest mistakes the club has ever made.
@@josevanreyes Yes, that was a huge blunder on Wenger's part, and to get Gallas in return was even worse. Wenger had a thing for horrendous CBs from France like Cygan, Silvestre, Squillaci etc.
@@Mos41f That's what made it worse. I think if Cole was club captain in 07/08 as he would have been instead of Gallas we probably would have won the league. Gallas in the centre circle sulking against Birmingham after Clichy gave away a last second penalty was probably the defining moment of the season.
This baller is the best LB in epl history. Key player for the legendary early 00s team key player for Chelsea’s late 00s legendary team. Won everything there is to win at the club level and was the only de facto world class player (best in the world in his position) in the apparent golden generation of English players in 00s
Amazing as usual. Can you upload Cesc 09/10. Really underrated season in hindsight cos at the time the whole league knew he was on 🔥
Best left back in the world at the time, we made such a huge mistake letting him go that kickstarted a big decline that went on for years at Arsenal
GREW THE F50 AND PREDATOR FANBASE WITH AN UNDERSATED ELEGANCE IN THE WAY HE NEVER EVER GAVE UP ON THE FIELD.
Simply the best!
Hi! A year ago you were going to post the 2003-2004 Arsenal - Chelsea FA Cup quarter-final on your channel, but you never did it. Will you lay it out?
Greatest English LB of all time.
England seriously can't replace some one like him
Attempt # who even knows at this point:
should be the last I gave up and clipped out the bit that took it down haha, youtube comps ain't easy!
@@souster98 respect for the amount of times you had to do this, thanks for the vids ❤️
@@fr3stylr322 Many thanks bro. They're all up now finally
Key players of invincible defense =
1. Ashley cole
2. Kolo toure
Without these two players. Arsenal might not got invincible
Kolo was one of the weakest players in that team. Campbell and Cole held that defence.
@@siberianTiger639 Campbell was slow. He couldn't face pacey players like obafemi martins, Owen, Zola,
In epl, you need quick pace to be successful.
Toure is. One of the quickest center backs of arsenal of all time
@@siberianTiger639
The weakest players in invincible =
1. Bergkamp
2. Lauren
3. Campbell

5. Toure
@@rahasiamanusiaanalyticalps3273 Campbell wasn't slow. He was knowsn for his pace and athleticism despite being very big and strong.
Zola wasn't fast at all in those years (2004), Campbell was comfortably faster than him.
Martins didn't even play in the EPL at that time.
Toure just began playing as a CB in 2003/04, never played in that position before (he was used as a midfielder or as a RB before). He was very bad in his positioning and reactions, very naive. He used his pace to compensate for his lack of defending knowledge often, but was still very insecure and error prone.
Campbell was one of the very best CBs in the world at that time. Even prime Toure (2006 or 2007) doesn't come near prime Campbell (90s - 2005). In 2004 Toure was just a begginer learning from Campbell who was an internationaly established world class CB and levels, levels and levels above Toure.
You are talking fairy tales my friend.
@@rahasiamanusiaanalyticalps3273 imo weakest players:
Toure, Lehmann, Lauren.
Best players: Henry, Cole, Campbell, Pires, Vieira.
No specific order, except Henry was definitely the best.
Outstanding player for sure, but are we 100% sure he was better than Maldini and Roberto Carlos?
Chelsea fans who pretend that they clearly had the better version of the player😂😂
legit peak.. best the world has seen
tapped up for 5mil. We got shafted.. now tapping up is normal.
