- With summer officially here, residents across the Southland sought shelter and ways to stay cool as they braced for a weekend heatwave that brought highs in the triple digits, Los Angeles County officials said.

This is the time to keep your hoses out and notes allowing drivers to spray them selves down. I’m a driver and recently had heat exhaustion on my last 10 stops. First time. My body kept cramping all over and was the first time I wasn’t able to move my body without freezing up in pain.
I never experienced a time when I was solely trying to get my job done but my body wasn’t allowing me to do it. This was really scary. Please watch out for your delivery drivers in your areas. You could really save a life.
