One thing I would add, as an enthusiast I’ve driven all over the country to buy cars, if it’s 500 miles away for my perfect car then just travel, book cheap hotel and get a deal. I think lots of people would do the same for that car. I’m tempted myself! Need to scratch that v8 itch

I'm in London and found my RS4 Avant about an hour north of Glasgow. Drove the dealer mad with all the video calls and walkarounds. He was a lovely chap though. Monster train journey up and then drove back in one blast. Epic drive. I've had it coming up to 4 years now and done 40k miles. She's not really put a foot wrong. I'm actually now looking at modification. I've got a HMS exhaust being built (which is going to sound insane) and I'm considering a subtle splitter and skirt kit. Might even go coilovers too.
Another good video on the RS4 would have been to follow you through an underside survey on the ramp, to see you fix the valves on the exhaust and to see the disc change.

Serious buyers travel. When I recently upgraded my car which was around the £21k I travelled from London to Newport, checked it over, test drive and booked a inspection then came back a week later on the train to pick it up. Personally I would have travelled twice as far if needed for the right car. It would be good to see more exotic cars on your channel
I wouldn't worry about people not travelling to but a car . If its the right one they definitely will travel for it.
Agree about the traveling I went to Ipswich from Scotland to buy a colt Ralliart was determined to get another one. Had them for 17 years lol, good video cheers

It’s crazy to think dealers out there just use the photos from BCA. It’s almost as if they don’t prep the cars and just get them out the door regardless of condition.

It’s nothing to do with being lazy by the time he preps the car could take up a week or even longer so if you advertise it but add in the description in for preparation this still entices potential buyers if he didn’t advertise he could lose the sale to another dealer selling a similar vehicle

I own the C6 Rs6 with the 5 litre V 10in the same colour. Owned it 6 years now, cost a fortune but I love it. Cheap ex wife and no kids helps, got my priorities right !

I had a mile long play with a C7 last week, it was tuned as well. Top of the Audi food chain. To me the C6 RS6 is still the big daddy just for the V10 soundtrack.

I do love a V8. I’ve had several, E90 M3, w204 C63 and my current w205 C63 Biturbo that sounds like a NASCAR at full chat. Many £s leave your bank account but that’s what I spend my money on. It’ll be a sad day when V8s are no longer produced.
Great video. I love the way we convince ourselves that a car is actuall a good buy 😂. When we know it could be a bag of bolts.😅 I gotta say it looks and sounds good. Let’s hope it has no nasty surprises.

My brother had a RS4 for 10 years the leaking suspension is most likely the DRC leaking it cost thousands to fix. It cost £3.5k at coventry audi to replace one shock and a pipe. All round is ridiculous money. It's cheaper to put coilovers on them

Quite possibly. On these you just have to have them open, and then unplug the unit under the boot panel.
I've got a feeling it's an aftermarket exhaust and still has the back boxes with valve control. I'd be interested to find out

I always liked the RS cars from Audi. Anyone into cars knows straight away what it is, but for everyone else it looks like a "sporty Audi". Love the way this V8 roars!

The exhaust note on these is superb but it plays second fiddle to the induction roar .
Utterly intoxicating, I’ve came close to buying one a few times , road tax puts me off and the adaptive suspension is a pain in the arse .

Take it on the German autobahn and on the Italian roads, that would be a great road trip.
Had my Sepang Blue 2015 since 2017, second owner, 124k. No intention of selling it, it’s a keeper even though I’ll be buying something else soon. Several things I can suggest. Ditch the middle exhaust box, replace with seperate resonators and an X Pipe in front of those. Much more epic sound, no drone and still quiet in comfort. I also ditched the unreliable DRC after 2 failures and replaced with KW V3 coilovers. Wish I’d done this from day dot, vastly better handling, dropped it 10mm and Yes you lose the ( frankly useless ) settings but “ comfort” is wallowy, “ dynamic” is unusable on road and “auto” is bi-polar so very much worth it. Changed the infotainment to Alpine CarPlay so best of both worlds, old school car, modern tech. Been very reliable over the years so long as you maintain it well like anything. And of course that V8 smashing 8000 rpm is epic, soooo much better than the lifeless bland Porsche V6 in the later B9 which sounds like an elephant fart by comparison. Enjoy ! I still do after all these years.

This looks like it's been ragged around the Aberdeenshire area by someone in the oil industry. Audi RS4/RS6 , BMW M3/M4/ M5 all favourites amongst the oil rig guys.

Considered one but cant help thinking if i buy one ill regret not holding out and buying rs6 when i have more money. Lovely sound but lacking in looks power and road presence to the rs6.
Are brakes front and back still in the thousands for these? I heard a few small parts needed result in the gearbox having to come out, is this true? Still my favourite car so great purchase 👌
I always wanted one of these, the only thing that worries me is the carbon build up, but that easily solved

Awesome car love the rs4 I still have my rs4 exactly the same as this one and the same year 😊. But it’s not in use currently as I’ve not long brought the rs6 2022. But I’m definitely not selling my 2014 rs4. And that’s because I love it and it’s only done 36 thousand miles but even if it had a million miles I’d still never sell it. Awesome cars love them but I’m a man that loves all hot hatches 😊 but who doesn’t hey
