Those "knives" look to be butterfly swords. It's a nice touch, he had a pair moulded on his chest in one of his ARAH figures.
Snake Eyes talking in film makes about much sense as Judge Dredd removing his helmet in that Stallone film, but what do I know, I'm not a Hollywood producer.
Great looking figure though.
The issue isn't that S.E. spoke. The issue is that S.E. spoke in THIS MOVIE.
As always thank you for rewarding the effort of the company that made this. This is the best articulated and human looking form Hasbro has made at this price point!
Snake eyes is my favorite G.I. Joe character
The head sculpt does actually seem to look like Henry Golding.
The name of the katana is actually called “morning light .”
Personally I think his head is perfect
the only thing that really bothers me is the sword sheath is backwards for a right handed draw, it should be attached so it curves the other way to properly be able to draw the sword. and yeah it does suck that he doesn't have a place to store the butterfly blades. I do like it when figures that aren't released with guns still have the trigger finger so you still have the option to display the figure with guns if you have any extras.
It's a great looking figure. Sculpt and detail are incredible.
I think the head sizes are ok. It's the tiny feet I don't like. The unmasked head could be used on another figure G.I. Joe or Marvel legends.
Could do with sheathes for his knives and some extra hands in other poses.
Snake Eyes is my all time favorite G.I. Joe character.
RW:Snake Eyes has always been my favorite ninja .
Got mines today...and I love it...love collecting movie action figures
Do you also collect the GIJO Classified series figures too Drexsonal or was it just the movie figures you were interested in getting? btw wanted to ask you, are you able to see all my new videos showing up in your subscription feed? have heard from a couple of viewers they aren't seeing the newer ones popping up?
@@TheReviewSpot no I just collect figures from my favorite shows and movies and hip hop action figures and yes I have no problems
The sword, named Morning Light, is molded in a black plastic along with most everything else. Also, he has butterfly joints on the shoulders.
It is yes
This figure with upgraded nun chuck weapon and bandalier looks pretty good even with the lame sheeth
I’ve had to pick up 2 of these figures already first one had a loose arm most recent one has a loose waist and ankle joints hopefully I can return. It and get a new one and it not have any issues
Love your reviews. You convinced me to buy this.
Glad I could help!
Dr House reviewing snake eyes
who?
I watched your videos since years ago and was hoping you gonna do comparisons with other figures in the same scale. Please.
I don't like that snake eyes is now a Asian and isn't a blonde white guy. I grew up knowing snake eyes to be a white blonde hair man which added a lot of tension between him and storm shadow. Anyways I did preordered this entire toy line and i hope the film is really great and entertaining. Thanks for the unboxing and review video
Same I am exactly with you
Henry Golding is half-white. The blonde hair thing isn't all that important, IMO.
@@JamesSerapio oh but it really is
@@JamesSerapio Yes it is.
Unfortunately the movie, while not terrible, did not turn out all that well. Mabye in years to come....
My favourite bit was when Spot effortlessly mispronounced "Arashikage."
_...Or did he?_
dun ....dun.....duunnnnn
@@TheReviewSpot did you go see the snake eyes movie yet
About the head size, I just imagine a motorcyclist helmet since he rides one lol
actually the reason it has that gun holding hand, i am guessing it's because it was from the previous classified series snake eyes
Wish it came with more hand accessories
Thanks Spot!
You bet!
I like your reviews very professional
Glad you like them!
I'm a fan of snake eyes
me too!
Me also i like snake eyes too
I don't care too much for him showing his face and talking. What worked about the character was that you never got to see his face or that he spoke. It gave the character some mystery. Snake Eyes is one of those characters that work best when you give his origin just a little bit of backstory and leave the majority of it to the imagination.
So glad this review has officially happened with the road to the release of the film, Henry golding is to nail the role of snake eyes.
Nice one spot
Thanks for watching
Head doesn't look too big to me. I made another account so I could give this review two thumbs up.
I appreciate that :)
sweet video thank u spot
Glad you enjoyed it
@@TheReviewSpot your welcome
The helmet is perfect size..to small and it'll look like the star wars black series 6in Stormtroopers helmet, which should be bigger.
As far as I know, this is the first time we have an unmasked Snake Eyes in toy form, including vintage, modern 3 3/4 and Classified.
I never thought about that, hmmm you might be right. Wasnt there a bandaged Snake Eyes head on a figure one time?
@@TheReviewSpot actually, there's an unmasked Snake Eyes, lol. I've just researched on yojoe.com and there's an o-ring figure released in 2006 named Classified. Tecnically, it's him, but before he became SE.
How much y'all wanna bet Snake Eyes will wear the mask for like 5 minutes tops in this new movie?
Arishikage is pronounced (ah-REESH-ee-kah-geh)
actually its not
@@TheReviewSpot in the movie it is
@@TobyKester9 not the source material no
@@TheReviewSpot that is how I heard it pronounced
