I filmed some clips with audio while filming an unboxing and review video of this diamond painting kit + some other products for my art channel. Includes lots of sticky noises, since there's glue on the canvas that the beads stick to, as well as plastic crinkles when opening the bead packages and bead pouring sounds.
You'll see one way of flattening the rolled up canvas, how I organize the beads to get to them easier while painting and two ways to fill in solid color areas faster. This was my first time doing diamond painting and I had trouble figuring out how to use the wax. (You need to peel off the plastic.)

@@leoaranzaa some people also sell shapes for you to put your own diamonds onto. They might be window stain canvases though.
Love this video. I'm about to start a 3.5' x 4.5'. I think I will listen to this while doing that. And as I said in another's complaint comment, I like the unboxing.

Omggg same I ordered a diamond painting thing on amazon that was this cool nature setting with blossom trees, flowers, and a cute little bridge and then I ordered the little tools to help me put on get gems😚 it’s very cute I ordered it a few days ago. I just love how these have been around since 2015 I think and I was born BEFORE that and I STILL didn’t know about it until tik tok 2020 in June!
i only found out abt it 3 weeks ago and im so mad my mon get her one the week after we ordered them and theres me thats been told ima get it on the 26nd of january 1-2 weeks to go

I don’t usually like these type of videos but, oh. my. Irene. This was SO calming. I usually listen to music or eating asmr (or mukbang if you want to call it that) but never anything like this. Just by listening to the first 5 seconds I could tell that this is something that would keep me calm working on schoolwork, a video, art anything. I want to do this myself but something tells me I’d knock something over or forget something important. (Example, this morning lol) Thank you for the calming video definitely something I would recommend. (Sorry for this long paragraph but I definitely appreciate this, a lot more than you think!)
That is one type of asmr I can't understand why people like. I hate eating asmrs because to me it's the equivalent of someone chewing with their mouth open, eating right in your ear... It makes me sick. I also don't like talking asmr. I prefer stuff where it has paper like page turning, or unboxing etc. I also like wood turning, or assembling of parts.

You can use the other end of the PEN you use for applying the diamonds for more than 1 gem at a time
I know, but I was filming this also for my art channel and wanted to show both the checkerboard method and the multi placer, so I'm using both methods in this video.

Yeah, it's a nice way to pass time and you can listen to an audio book or a podcast or have on a movie on the background, but it's not something you're going to finish in a couple of hours.
I have one of these, but I feel like I need to buy other things because I don’t get any way in the package.

Lovely I do something similar but but slightly different..I get a poster...I have to apply gum... There is no marked place for the stones... And mine are round not round set in a square base... The finish is not as perfect as this but ok.... Love your work...

When at first your going slow for the aesthetic of opening up the package but then you get your scissors stuck
Since i ordered a 30by30cm painting (I saved it for months) I can't wait to receive it but since there are no adress where I live I told my cousin to order it and deliver it in her address and I will just send her the money and I still need to wait for so long to have it

You should try diamond painting stickers so when your done you can stick it bc its a sticker

Thanks, I think I should check the links again and remove ones that don't work anymore. I've found diamond paintings from arts and crafts sections at local stores. And there are a lot online stores that sell them. The one that sent me this specific one, doesn't sell diamond paintings anymore.
The problem is I'm from Thailand and it's quite hard to find the diamond paintings like yours. I'm so sad 😭
how did you get rid of the creases?
You can flatten it out under a pile of books or you can try taking off parts of the protective film and resticking it to the canvas.

I've knocked over the tray so many times and had the beads fly all over the place and get stuck on the wrong places on the canvas. 😂

Fun fact (yes I know the single one is for asmr purposes): there are things that pick up diamonds 10 at a time (I think)

i think the most is probaby 9 at a time on a normal drill pen attachment, but theres also special drill pens ouut there, like a wheel (which, i have no idea how much it can pick up at a time, but its a lot)

I'm cutting it and peeling it in parts to only reveal the part I'm working on and have the plastic protect the rest of the canvas. Otherwise my arms would be stuck in the glue.
