@Gracie Jones you stick the tip of the pen into the wax that comes with the set. once the wax runs out and the drills don’t stick to pen as well anymore, you just “refill” the wax again.
It does take a while but it also depends on the size of the painting too, as well as if you use round or square diamonds and a single or multiplacer. It's really freaking fun though.
That is... EXACTLY what I did. I accidentally switched two colors while opening the little bead packets, and I had to go back and peel off all the ones I messed up. TUT
I have done a diamond painting before and I must say doing these are really fun, it's actually quite addicting really. I recommend finding a good spot because you might hurt your back and neck. 💙

You can’t order drills separately because each diamond painting has special coloured drills. Some have a DMC number which, for eg. this blue has the dmc of 9853 ( I put a random number) all of the drills with that dmc number is that blue! Pretty interesting might I add.
My teacher last year knew dang well that the kids in my class were rowdy. She brought one of these to school and expected us to be still and quiet while she was messing with it. She yelled at us over it. She should've known better.
