I went through the footage once, but yeah, it does take a long time to cut out the loud noises that either I've done by knocking over the tray or pressing too much with the pen tool or just noise from the neighbors etc.

I like to reroll the canvas in the opposite direction from the way it was rolled in the box, squish it a little, and unroll it again. If it's still not lying flat, I'll pull it tight and pull it down slowly over the edge of the table, first in one direction, then in the other. Repeat either or both steps as needed.
I love your video and your diamond painting. I wish I could do an ASMR video but my house is too loud lol!!! With my kids constantly running back and forth screaming, and my hubby yelling at his game (on his ps4) It would be a huge fail haha!
do you HAVE to put the books on top of it for a day, or are you just making sure its flat enough? I'm getting one in two days so I need as much info as I get! (loved the video btw)
I'm flattening it, because it was rolled inside the cardboard box and would've been difficult to work on because of the creases. You can also try removing part of the plastic and stroking it back on like I was doing in the beginning to flatten the canvas.
Diamond painting usually come rolled like that, if they're not already framed. You can try flattening out the creases by putting it under a weight or ironing it from the backside. Not sure what you meant with the blue in the black.

You mean with the actual diamond painting? I think the filming makes me slower. I'm trying to do the diamond painting, not make too much noise that would have to be cut out, listen for any background noise and make sure I'm not blocking the camera at the same time.

Tip: Try and find one that is already in your country so that it doesn't cost as much and doesn't take as long. You also don't need to buy a bunch of fancy tools. They will give you the basic tools. you can leave it unattended with a few heavy books on top of it for a few hours or overnight

Or just leave heavy books on the side of the canvas while you are painting but i think its quite uncomfortable

I'm flattening it, because it was rolled inside the cardboard box and would've been difficult to work on because of the creases. You can also try removing part of the plastic and stroking it back on like I was doing in the beginning to flatten the canvas.
