I 100% agree with everything you said about the ShAmy relationship, but I have to add that Amy has evolved throughout the 5 years since they've had their first date. They weren't a couple for a little over a year after their first date and Amy has changed since we first met her. If she has to accept Sheldon for who he is, then maybe who he is isn't what she needs anymore, or at least not right now.
You finally got to the point I have been waiting for - the Shamy breakup. Curious to see your reaction.

I swear Sheldon pulling out that engagement ring, was one of the greatest plot twist in television history. Shamy is one of the best tv couples ever and everytime I watch this scene, it still gives me goosebumps. What happened to Leonard and Penny was sad (kinda) but when Amy broke up with Sheldon, it felt like the world stopped moving, that's how powerful it was. After watching this, I couldn't wait for the next season💯💯

@@wuxin5847 no you didn't, I still stand on what I said. Penny and Leonard are boring as hell. Their story is like a continuation of a chick flick, where the Nerd gets the "popular" girl and their love story is formed in a sitcom lol. Yeah it teaches that opposites can attract and all. But other than that, their relationship is a joke. Their love is not true love, because neither one of them is truly happy. She's only with Leonard, so no other girl can have him and he's obviously with her strictly because of her beauty. Say what you want about Shamy, but their story is a lot more compelling and impactful.

@@wuxin5847Penny and Leonard are a joke! Penny bosses him and bullies him and he lets her because she's pretty and he doesn't think he could get anyone better, even though he had Priya, who was intellectually WAY more on his level.
Amy has completely changed as a person over the last 5 years she’s been dating Sheldon. A lot of the qualities that initially made them a perfect match were antisocial defense mechanisms that she’s dropped as she’s gained good, trustworthy friends.
It’s a good idea, narratively, to give her the opportunity to explore who that character is now. Obviously they’re still endgame, otherwise Sheldon wouldn’t have pulled out the ring at the end.

I feel the most greateful for my mom and my sister. I can be truly myself with them and it's always a relief to not feel anxious around people ☺️
In Smallville, Clark Kent just had superspeed for most of the show with small glimpses flight without himself noticing it, he just thought he leaped high enough.
I am most grateful for my mother. She's the best mother I could have wished for. She accepts me the way I am, she was always great to me, and I couldn't imagine my world without her. I think my biggest fear would be losing her tbh
I think I’m most grateful for the ability to see, there are so many moments each day where I’m in awe at the way the sun shines through the window, or the colour of things and all the shades and hues. Eyesight is one of those things you don’t even think about most of the time but I can’t imagine how difficult it’d be to go blind later on in life after years of sight
I know what you mean. As horrifying as blindness at any age must be, at least the formerly sighted will always know what autumn leaves, Cocker Spaniels, falling snow, a flock of geese, a sliced orange, a full moon, daffodils, and a million other things, looked like.

Yeah we all know why cause they constantly cheat on women themselves and truly believe there is nothing wrong with cheating. Basically the trash people exposing themselves ☕️
After Season 7 was finished, I commented on the episode 24 reaction that many found it to be the last great season of the big bang theory. While I don’t (and didn’t) agree with that, I wasn’t really looking forward to season 8. I remembered it as a relative ‘drop in quality’ between seasons 6-7 and 9-10 (which I considered to be better) - I’d forgotten how good the start was (episodes 5 to 10 are all REALLY good) and it doesn’t falter in the second half, with episodes 13 to 15, 20 and 22 being some of my personal favourites in both the season and possibly the whole series.
Emily is my favourite of Raj’s girlfriends and this season showed Penny and Leonard’s relationship in a very interesting light - such as how they’ll deal with money as a married couple. Also they handled the death of Carol Ann Susi respectfully - honouring her memory instead of replacing her or writing off her character in another way (such as Mrs Wolowitz moving away from Pasadena) and showing the group coming together to support Howard which was a good way of showing their friendship.
Yes, I do feel that it had a mediocre final episode and I don’t like some of the subplots (for example, Amy and Bernadette’s subplot in episode 7) but season 8, I apologise for misjudging you. You are genuinely one of the best Big Bang Theory seasons.
@9k49 Why do you consider Season 8 finale mediocre? I think its a great episode. It has 4 different plots, each one involving people making difficult decisions.
@@archieriley1025 For me I think that:
•Sheldon and Amy’s plot - too rushed. They have one fight then Amy breaks it off at the end, I think it should’ve been spread across two episodes (23 - the fight, 24 - Sheldon asks for advice, Amy asks for advice then the breakup). It would also make it more plausible that Sheldon would decide to propose to Amy at the end.
•Both Raj and Emily’s plot and Howard, Bernadette and Stuart’s plot - for me no satisfying ending. They both realise a difficult decision has to be made but then both plots end in a joke with no resolution (come season 9, the two situations are the same). Howard, Bernadette and Stuart’s plot doesn’t suffer as much because the shot with them singing happy birthday and Stuart wearing the birthday hat is absolutely hilarious.
•Leonard and Penny’s plot - fairly well handled at the start, showing their insecurities and addressing the marriage (which does need to be addressed) but then its ruined with the cliffhanger of Leonard’s cheating. Comes out of nowhere, makes Leonard seem kind of bad and while cliffhangers usually leave something to be desired, we’re left kind of anxious to see what will happen with it.
I respect this episode for trying to take on four plots and it actually ‘balances’ them really well, and it had good humour, but three of the four plots needed more satisfying endings for me and the other one (Sheldon and Amy’s) needed buildup.

Penny getting mad at Leonard for being brutally honest and wanting there to be no secrets and regrets was dumb. Leonard had the balls to make the painful decision to express a mistake he had made, that's a GOOD thing.
Well it's how most humans would react. They want you to be completely honest but when that really happens they don't want it. 99.9 percent of the time it's how it would happen in real life. It's because in actuality no one can really be 100% honest with someone else rather than themselves.

@@Strata666 nah that's wrong. Cheating would suggest that Leonard had some kind of feelings towards her. But in the scenario he was in it was just spur of the moment kiss. That kind of thing can happen to any human being in a scenario that Leonard was in. Drunk without his partner living inside a ship for months. Yes her anger is justified because anyone would feel the same as penny if she were to be in that situation. But it wasn't cheating.
@@Strata666 "Dude" he was drunk, made a mistake as being drunk makes people do stupid things. The thing is TELLING HER shows remorse as apposed to just keeping it from the person. If you get mad at someone for making a mistake especially the fact that it's a "nerd" who goes almost their whole life without ever getting any attention from women, then that person has no maturity. Furthermore, a drunken kiss is not cheating, no sex, no foreplay, heck they were clothed lol. Lastly, Penny has bounced around with hundreds of guys, she is not on any footing to judge anyone, EVER lol.

You gotta love the irony that after all of Leonard's anxiety and jealousy about Penny being near other men and possibly cheating on him. HE is the one who cheated on her and only told her years after.

His anxiety about her cheating came from his insecurities and her own actions. She cheated on a lot of people by her own words and told the whole gang about it.

Penny is also very very insecure, though. She’s always worried that her looks are all she has going for her and if Leonard meets a pretty girl who’s also smart then that’s it.
The Flash series had gown done a few times, not just in CGI, but also story. Somehow a normal women was fast enough to save Flash from another speedster. The finale had every major speedster that gave Flash trouble return but get easily beaten by more non-speedsters.
