leonard is very underrated as a character, he was hilarious in this episode, and he usually is very funny
I hate that we never get to see Howard's half brother again.

I'm gonna start pronouncing GIF as "jif" the moment "graphics" will be pronounced "jraphics".
In the word "graphics" the g is followed by r, there is no situation in which a g followed by r is read like j. However, in the word "gif", the g is followed by an i, a situation in which in most cases, the g will be read as j, not to mention there are languages in which there's not even an option to read it as a hard g there (such as Italian or Romanian)
Still sounds like the peanut butter

I also used to sing a lot as a kid but puberty messed up my voice so now I typically sing when home alone. Now, I only sing to other people if they’re babies lol
I think it was neither for Leonard. I read it as Leonard is and has always been so insecure about Penny being with him that it's a kind of comfort that she may need to rely on him. And now that's no longer true.

the creator of gif said it is soft g - so that is all that matters gif is not a word - so you are wrong - the creator decides how it is pronounced - end of story there is not debate
I think he's been overruled. Language is dictated by what the majority say, for good or bad
I say it like the G in gigantic.
Kevin Smith worked as a clerk in NJ and went to 3/4 film school. Got all his friends to say he was the manager of it and got 37,000 loan and made the first Clerks. It was so popular that it catapulted him into stardom with other films to follow. You really need to check the first one out to get the idea of who he is
Well, I usually lip sync more than sing. Last time I was at work, I was doing a store sweep, which is a two person job and they played Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now from Starship. I lip synced to it, looked behind me to serenade my sweep partner and she didn’t notice.
So I guess that counts as singing to someone and singing to yourself at the same time.

Not sure why Penny makes a lot more money than Leonard considering he is a scientist.
According to Glassdoor the average pay for a physicist is 100k and the average pay for a pharmaceutical sales rep is 150k.
The original guy may have said "jif" but everyone corrects you if you do it that way so it's just easier to say it the other way. It's not worth arguing over
The only people who are wrong in the gif debate are those that insist it must be one way or the other. All grammatical rules make it ambiguous and any argument about it having to be one way or the other has many counters.
So say it how you want and don't criticize others for saying it in the other way :)
While I still pronounce gif with a hard G, Jehtt's video on the subject was the most convincing argument I've heard for the soft G pronounciation.
