Honestly, I have to agree that it is a little hypocritical of Leonard to be mad at Raj when he's been dating Raj's sister without his blessing. But, it was disgusting and selfish for Raj to say that he and Penny are in love when she literally said to him, "This never happened."

Raj did improve as the seasons went on, I think he grew alot and became more accepting of his feminine side which made him alot Kinder to those around him. I feel sorry for the way all the female characters are treated in these earlier seasons, and Raj's and Howard's behaviour isn't excused by anything. But I've always wandered if some of Raj's sexism early in the show could possibly come from a place of internalised misogyny against his own Metrosexual side.
He always accepted his feminine side. He just didn't come out as gay because he comes from a culture where homosexuality isn't as well received as it is in the west.
Raj later reflects (around Season 11, maybe?) that he based a lot of his early behaviors on Howard's when he first came to America, because he needed a friend and he thought Howard was so confident - we know he straightened his naturally wavy hair at the same time Howard did, and that Howard mocks him every time he's the least bit girly. So he may have modeled Howard's misogyny as well, to be more like him and avoid the mocking. But as his social circle grew, particularly as he finally got over his selective mutism and bonded with Penny, Amy, and Bernadette, he didn't care so much what Howard thought.
You people complain to much. It’s a show. The women were barely mistreated. Hell Penny took advantage of the guys a bunch in the earlier seasons so in my book they’re even
I'm a lifelong history buff, so I simply have to put it out there that Amy's Catharine the Great story is NOT true. Chroniclers create such stories because they're threatened by powerful, successful women. Yes, Catharine had several lovers, but they were human. Since women are traditionally defined by their sexual role, their transgressions must be, ipso facto, sexual in nature. The worst thing Lucretia Borgia ever did in her life was to have a two year love affair with a Spanish poet, - and for that she's the most infamous woman in history. 🙄🤔😟🧐

Season 5 was definitely the beginning of special things happening but was also the beginning of Raj starting a "depressing moment" compilation. That's all I'm going say, no spoilers.
I feel bad for Raj. His character is treated the worst by the writers. By the way, in the previous video, Eric conveniently didn't include Penny specifically saying "You know, if we weren't friends - and you hadn't brought up that creepy pornography story - I'd be on you like the speed of light squared on matter to make energy." That's not a woman just being nice and the guy misunderstanding. That was her saying he's hot and if they weren't friends she'd be having sex and/or a relationship with him. Despite Raj's flaws, he'd more relationship material than any of them, including Penny. Eric seems to have a bias against Raj and grasps onto whatever he can to confirm that bias.
@@Nikki-oe7gr yeah that's actually a good analogy. Raj is definitely more of the romance type out of everybody in the group. He definitely had depressing moments and it just get worst. I relate to him very well.
As far as Penny, I think the real reason she "slept" with Raj was because she has a weakness for heartbroken nerds. It makes sense, she accepted Leonard since the first season and it was because of Self Pity. Even though they weren't a couple in the first season, she kissed him on the lips twice on Halloween and his Birthday because she felt bad for him. With Raj, it was the same thing. Which is crazy because Leonard even admitted in this episode, that Sheldon would have gotten Penny before Howard (which is true) lol.
She said she never should have broken up with Leonard but he was a great guy. Yet, I never cared about Leonard catching Raj and Penny together. Tbh, I wished they never wrote it off like they didn't have sex. In the last episode of season 4, it was pretty obvious that they had sex and I didn't understand what was going on with that change.

The horse thing Amy said in this episode is just a myth.

It's hard for me to feel bad for any of them.
Leonard is unable to let go of both Priya and Penny and so desperate to please everyone for his need of approval.
Penny believes she can get by with just her looks.
Raj's lack of confidence around women make him think he has a shot with any woman who is nice to him.
Howard feels threatened by his fiance making more money than him or taller and better looking man around her and he can't cut his own pancakes.
Priya uses Leonard. She's embarrassed to tell her parents that she's dating him and she doesn't tell him that she's moving back to India, which Leonard takes out on Raj.
Sheldon...need I say more?

I think this episode really demonstrated Leonard’s lack of caring and compassion for his friends.
He entered into a relationship Raj’s sister without even gauging his feeling on the matter, and had sex with her in his bed. He didn’t care about Rajs feelings on the matter.
Leonard also had the nerve to be angry/upset when Raj had an encounter with Penny. Penny and Leonard are just friends at this point and she and Raj have been friends for just as long. If Raj having an encounter with Penny is bad then what Leonard did with Rajs sister is much worse.
Rajs behaviour is nothing more than that of an awkward goof who is bad with women. Leonards actions are that of a malicious person who cares little about the feelings of his friends.
Totally agree on Leonard. People usually like to act like he's the victim in all his relationships, but he's quite a dick MANY times

Agree, I don’t feel bad for Raj. I think crushes and exes are off limits for close friends. He didn’t consider his male friends feelings, and he couldn’t consider that his female friends were just nice and good to him.

@@Nikki-oe7gr I don’t know about that. Raj seems like the type of person that would put his partner on a pedestal. That’s definitely not relationship material. He could have flings for sure (and he does), but I can’t see him making a serious relationship work with the way he is now.
I sorta see that but tbh if u can date a friends sister (a much closer relationship than an ex) then that friend can deffo date an ex.

I get your reaction to Raj. I get a little triggered when I see him rush to something big out of something small. A simple wink in his direction and he would think that that the woman is in love with him and he would begin to pick out names for their future children. lol I think I would get triggered because I used to be the same way, or similar. I am in my late 30s, never been able to have a relationship. There has been some dating here and there but it never lasted longer than one date. So when somebody would be really friendly with me, it would make me feel like I had a great chance at dating them. Yet when I'd try to ask them out, they'd be almost offended or disgusted that I would think I thought they'd want to date me. It got to a point that now it is like the reverse, there could be somebody who is flirting with me, and I either wouldn't be able to tell or I'd think that they were just being friendly and not do anything about it. I get what you said about your female friends having to watch what they say/do so that it doesn't seem as flirting when they are just being friendly. Sadly it goes both ways in a sort. I have to watch what I say and do because apparently when I approach somebody, even if it was somebody who has gotten to know me, for some reason I get shot down because they are under the belief that I am just looking for a one night stand. I get viewed as if I was a sex offender. Some guys out there are legit when they get the courage to ask somebody out only to be met with ridicule because the other person felt the guy was beneath them. Also some guys just happen to make a casual glance in the direction of a female and we can get accused to starring at them or contemplating some sexual assault. This world has gone to a wasteland. It don't matter really what anybody is. Race, gender, sexuality, etc. Anybody and everybody has the potential to be a great person or a person that society looks down on. Society will be the judge despite the effort you put into yourself. Society will judge you and execute you if it feels necessary.

The beginning shows that despite his intelligence, Sheldon can be so stupid.
Leonard and Penny were not together, Leonard slept with Raj's sister when he knew Raj really didn't want that, so Leonard is really the one that was in the wrong and who set the rules of what is ok in their friendship
Although they are taking it way too seriously, u should be protecting ur sister and ur friends from getting together with assholes, not stopping them from finding love just because u know the other person when u know they are actually quite good people
Nothing weird about shitting of Raj though, he is just as crazy as the rest of them, especially his no boundaries thing which isn't so weird because he can't talk to girls when sober 🙂
Two videos a week seems like it would be excessive for TBBT, but have you ever considered condensing two episodes into one longer video ? It would still be more to edit, but it would certainly save more time than two separate videos. If not, that's totally fine ! I understand and respect your boundaries, and you have to stick to a schedule that's healthy for you. I just didn't think I'd seen it suggested before. I for one would love longer videos!!
I would have to disagree: So few CZcamsrs post on Tuesdays that @EreicReacts' TBBT postings are the highlight of my CZcams viewing Tuesdays; and Thursdays are equally empty of content (Everyone seems to all post on Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays, resulting in an overload of content on those three days).
So if there were a second posting every week on Thursdays, I'd be up for it!

I thought the same thing about Penny agreeing to keep quiet for Raj's sake as you did. But if you think about it, how much solace would it give Leonard if she told him? She still got naked and made out with one of his best friends in his bed. Also, if not for Raj's quick draw, she would've slept with him. So if I'm Leonard, the fact that they stopped short of actual intercourse by accident wouldn't make me feel much better, if at all.

So, thanks for mentioning it. That takes courage. It may have comforted others too who related to it.

No hate about Raj here, It's kind of hard to tell sometimes who is more cringey between Raj or Howard. Keep up the reactions they're a lot of fun to watch

My general attitude towards Raj is mixed, on one side I really don't like him, I find his personality extremely repulsive, but on the other side, he reminds me very much of myself, and that makes me scared (even more so in the next seasons, but I don't wanna give spoilers). Still, I'd love to find someone like Raj, because he catches feelings quickly, just like me, and he's known to care for people whom he loves, which is just like me too
The only strange thing to me is how much you overreacting to every display of nerdy social disability.
I had a social life once, even several times. And no one ever reacted with disgust to someone's similar behavior, rather with understanding, indulgence, pity, or laughter. Only once did someone act so stupid that he was forcibly silenced.
Raj and his "every girl who is nice to me is interested in me" is so obvious ... These days, even more than when the show was made. Because girls aren't nice to random men. No man has ever heard a disinterested compliment. Unless from grandma. These things are only discussed today. In an age of equality, gender change and sexist feminism. I will say even more. For many women, being nice is enough of a signal that they are interested in intercourse. And then they're furious if the man "doesn't make a move". Because they were giving such obvious signals, that is, she moved her leg, blinked and smiled.

Lol you seem to forget she was drunk as hell. Whether she meant that or not, we will never know. There’s no bias if Raj has been creepy about women, sober or not.

Funny thing is the actor is arguably the best looking guy in the cast (or at least on par with Sheldon actor who has height going for him)
