I was shooting some night videos and pictures last night and I'm impressed with the versatility. Such a pleasure to use and the 2k display with 1500 nits brightness is unbearable 💪
The display is crazy good. I still cannot feel the peak brightness advantage due to the season, but the colors are amazing. It's the first time I see AMOLED screen not looking like AMOLED.

That was another excellent presentation. We didn’t see the night video that was said to be very good. Also the battery seems to be a little less than expected. Hope the pro has some better extras and good price so as compared with the latest Samsung

I'm sad that there is no telephoto camera, not even a normal one. It would have made a huge difference! I am still going to buy it though, as I rarely take photos with more than 5x zoom. Except that, everything else appears to me amazing with this phone!
Yeah, I also reacted similarly at the beginning. But usually the telephoto lenses have much smaller sensors behind and the image quality suffers. So I thing I prefer the cropped image from the 108MP .

Засега ми се струва, че загрява дори при малки натоварвания, но по никякъв начин не грее много, а и вероятно го усещам заради липсата на кейс. От днес съм с кейс и да видим дали ще усещам разлика. Производителността е възхитителна.
Искам да видя как ще се държи след 2 седмици без reboot. Защото Oneplus 8 Pro се усеща все едно е със Snapdragon 730 ако не се рестартва на 3-4 дни.

Well - this is the first 888, and the first dual-sim phone that can give me 5G and a second SIM at the same time. So yeah - kind of like it a lot.
How is the heat problems with day to day use like youtube, social Media and lite gaming ?
I don't think we can call it "heating". Just warming up - due to the way 888 works. It gets warm with regular browsing if you don't have a case. I don't mind that.
As far as I can see most SD 888-based devices have that ... feature.
I just got mi 10t pro ? U think it’s a considerable change ?
The Mi 11 feels more premium, but the Mi 10T pro has a lot better battery life. And performance is comparable - I'm sure you will like it a lot.

Oneplus 8 Pro has been discounted now and is around 650 - guess this makes your choice easier.
The Mi 11 is great too. A bit faster and with very similar camera performance.

@@TechMishka 9 pro got faster charging, better battery and better set of camera plus I'm using oneplus bullets wireless z so its a bonus
But the mi 11 has a bigger screen and slimmer bezels which is also important to me plus i think the mi 11 has a better main camera and its cheaper

A lot of them! MI 11 Pro is much newer than Mi 1. If you ask between Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro - yeah - the camera setup is much better.

No, but I am not a gamer;
I can feel it gets warmer when I download a lot of stuff. But when installing and running PUBG it was totally fine.
I think the current version of the OS is not optimized. I can say bad words mostly about the battery life.

Snapdragon 888 used in this phone is not doing well, test results have shown it is as good as 865 only, also when you zoom the pictures taken they are not clear. MI has always been good at giving good phone in budget section but in flagship it is giving below par things.
I'm agree with you, unfortunately MI 11 is weaker phone rather than mi 10
I like its performance a lot more compared to the Mi 10.
|I also believe photos could be better and there will certainly be enhancements in the coming weeks.
Water resistance is now very important when we have to wash our phones every time after using it out. And I think this price is over expensive for Chinese phones. It seems for me that Samsung s21 is a more attractive option.
Yeah, lots of things change... Chinese phones are now often more expensive than Samsung devices.
Truth is that the Mi 11 does have some water resistance integrated, not sure how good it actually is. Haven't checked Jerry Rig Everything's teardown yet :)
At least samsung dropped its price. Unlike apple who got rid of their chsrgers but still asking for a high price

Yeah, charges super fast and drains kind of fast too. But the fast charging is good enough to help you not notice that.

U forget the clone effect there are several photo and video options just found in mi 11

I have no such thermometer yet so I can't show, but it handles well daily operations. Note that I am not a gamer and it's hard for me to give good feedback about it. But I'll test it with some high CPU intensive tasks for the next review. I first want it to get MIUI 12.5 and then we'll talk about it.

It is the same as in landscape mode. Works great.

I had this phone 1 week sold it. Didn't like the phone. And didn't like the edge screen. Now I have the Xiaomi mi 11 i version and believe me this one is better. Almost the same but not edge screen and a little less camera nothing more.

It does look strange at the start. Then it's fine.
It's a great phone, but without water/dust protection, is not suitable for hikers, bikers, runners, etc. No telephoto lens hurts a lot of photo/video enthusiasts.

There's no official IP rating, but it is well waterproof - you can take a look at JerryRigEverything's teardown.
As for the camera - the software crop of the 108MP will be a good enough replacement of a telephoto lens.
Mi 11 have some waterproof material even though no ip certificated . I own the mi11 , i usually go to work ride the motorcycle , in rainy day , my whole body totally wet because of the rain , and mi11 sitting in my pocket , and still working fine :) You can put mi 11 under water too , but do not put it under water more other than IP certified smartphones :) ,btw sorry about my bad english .

Samsung S21 isn't less expensive than the previous. For many reasons. Plastic Inferior housing ($200 phone housing)

2. You want to give out your used phone to a sibling or friend. Why won't they have a charger with it? Otherwise they buy one( how does the environment thing work, buying thier own mean extras, New box, new package etc)
3. People loss their chargers , forget them in the bus , they are also stolen
4. Proprietary chargers are always better than untrusted chargers, those can spoil your phone.
5. Fast charging technology is a thing, people buy phones because of how far it chargers. If you tell me that my phone can charge at 60wtt. Why won't you give me the corresponding charging brick to match your claims? Xiaomi mi 11T pro comes with a 120w charging technology. It can charge your phone from 0-100% in 17 minutes. Can you achieve that with charge from before!?.
