I titled this compilation "The B-Sides" because I put all my absolute favorites in a previous video: "The Very BEST It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia BLOOPERS", but I have to say, there are plenty of hidden gems in here as well. Enjoy!

Damn, Charlie's mom's such a good actress, she never broke the character. She and Uncle Jack kept their faces straight while Charlie kept giggling like a highschool girl talking to her crush, lol

@@Azrael42016 If they didn't understand what was funny about the material, they wouldn't be able to play the role properly. There's two reasons they're not laughing 1. They are not the stars of the show, and time is money. If they are the ones holding up takes with laughing, they might be written out of the show. And 2. They are professionals with more acting experience than the younger actors, and they know that once you start corpsing, the harder it is to stop.
They write it, they act in it, they have complete creative control - no wonder they're always having so much fun.

@@RoachDogg_JR Na its the absurdity of acting out the scene. Sometimes the delivery is just so good that its very hard not to laugh. On top of that there is a lot of improve that can happen in the moment and there's no way to see it coming. A good example of that is the little improv moan Dennis did with massaging Charlie that made Mac break character.

The best part of the bloopers is when somebody very obviously breaks, they all know they'll NEVER use that take, but they keep building on the part that made somebody break just to make them laugh more.

Well, technically they are taught to not break because they can still stitch scenes together, maybe the beginning or end of the scene may be salvageable. That's why you hear directors sometimes say "keep rolling" even after a mess up.

For as few scenes as she’s in, Mac’s mom has some incredible ad-libs. Especially at 21:00, Rob and Charlie are legitimately taken aback. 😂

I like how 99% of Danny Devito's clips in this are from other people breaking character and laughing at his delivery, man is a true professional

2:02 6:52 these seemed like some particular ad lib moments that caught them off guard.
Kaitlin Olson actually started mostly as a pure improv comedy actress. She toured with Drew Carey to do Whose Line, did episodes of Punk'd, Curb Your Enthusiasm which is pretty much entirely improvised, and a lot of prank based comedy shows which are dependent on improv.
@@granolaassasin All the Cricket bloopers just seem to be him improvising various lines in the moment, which always catch Charlie and Rob off guard.
Now I see why Charlie and Glenn did not get a lot of screen time together.

I love their chemistry, the show is absolute gold, and especially from the blooper reels you can tell how much fun they have making the show. The show and the bloopers never get old

Charlie Day looks like the greatest person to star in a show with. The dude just always seems to be cracking up having an absolute blast.
It's amazing how consistent Kaitlin's delivery is, some of these bloopers she sounds and looks exactly like she does in the episodes

Probably the least discussed thing about this epic series is the strength of its side characters: Uncle Jack, the moms, Ponderosa, Cricket, McPoyles---all incredible; they really build on the big five main characters. I found their absence in Season 15 really shone through and perhaps one of the bigger reasons it was the weakest season since the first.

This show is top tier, to make the creepy uncle story that funny is genius because its a fine line and could come across as crass but not only did they make it work but went on to do a whole musical on the subject!, Genius it really is just try explaining to someone who doesn't watch the show all about day man/night man and see the look of horror on their face.

He's also the funniest. Go figure.
Maybe in this blooper collection, but Rob breaks the most overall. There's episodes of Sunny where he is straight up laughing during scenes like in The Gang Solves The Mortgage Crisis or The Gang Hits The Slopes. And if you look hard enough, you could probably see him bite his lip to prevent laughing at least once in every episode.
I used to think Danny broke the least, until I noticed him actually laughing when Charlie was talking about the donkey brained certificate in The Cereal Defense. He had a couple of other scenes where you can notice him slightly breaking before fastly getting it together. I think Kaitlin breaks the least. Other than a few bloopers with Glenn, she rarely breaks first. Rob and Glenn have mentioned how they used to have her with Charlie the most in the earlier seasons because the rest of the guys couldn't keep a straight face and Kaitlin could. I was also reading a recent interview with Will Forte, her costar on her new show, and he was saying how she would nail everything on the first take and mentioned how easy and fast the shoot went.
Tony’s right. If you go back and watch the show, just focus on Mac. They have to actively cut away from him like 40% of the time because he can’t keep it together xD
the rhythm of 1:57 is unbelievable, no wonder Rob got annoyed that it flopped 😂
