Creeps, what are your favorite Always Sunny bloopers?
Don’t ask me to rank my children.
its like a favourite movie you can never just have one its way to difficult to choose
GLADYS
Ryan's dead... to me. He's dddeeeEEEEEAAAAAAaaaddd!
Glenn breaking when Charlie says "I don't even think he gets us"
My favorite blooper of all time is “YOU WILL CALL HER!!!!” Because McPoyles hold it together and the rest of the cast can’t hold it together. He perfectly delivered that line like 4-5 times without breaking but I mean it’s one of the funniest lines of the entire show
i always find extra funny cos she is deaf, call her, wtf that gonna do
I like the one at his wedding when he does "heeeee'ss DEEEEEEAAADDDD" He builds it up perfectly but they don't use that inflection in the show
@@johndoe-nw9qu deaf and mute ahahaha
The way Dennis loses his shit about those frat guys always kills me
@@johndoe-nw9qu oh damn I didn’t even realize that
I actually never thought that Charlie turning around in the store was to keep from laughing. I just took it as Charlie Kelly knowing immediately that Dennis was about to berate these girls and that he was uncomfortable with what he knew was coming.
i always took it as charlie just immediately became uninterested in the girls and was just looking around til dennis was done.
I feel like he WAS laughing and they kept it after seeing this. If you watch it again you can kinda see him shaking while he's turned around like he was quietly dying of laughter
@@travishenderson9635 He was CLEARLY trying to hide his laughter. 10/10
same
You can see his damn torso shaking from holding in laughter, it's classic and it's goddamn amazing!
Charlie talking about fucking Dee and then Rob is like “ewww” and Charlie says “online online online” is my absolute favorite blooper and one of my fav bits in all of Sunny
Agreed lol
Charlie mouthing along to Dennis' campaign speech was one of the funniest scenes ever.
"best thing I've ever wrote" obliterates me
Charlie's face when he responds "Ghouls" never fails to make me laugh.
Little green ghouls,buddy!!
Little green ghouls
@@christofferjenzen78 damn you
Ghouls, goblins, gremlins
The part before that when he is smoking out hornets for honey and is stung all over lol
The "I don't think he gets us" will always be my favorite
Whatta you saying?
"We're talking about you!" Lmao
"No, online, online, online" from Charlie is my favourite.
Personally LOVE watching Charlie notice that he’s gotten someone giggling because he always quadruples down on it just to break them more - fucking hysterical every time
He also knows and cares what the fans want
Best blooper has to be the “I have to have my tools!” blooper reel. Seeing the rest of the cast absolutely lose it to Glenn is amazing. Even Danny eventually starts to break character in that reel it’s amazing.
I’ll never get tired of Charlie having to get a few jokes in to warm up
Same here.
"Punished for their laziness... by me, John Bend."
Virus party ftw.
I have no idea how Dennis could think the blooper of him reading Charlies note is not that funny, his delivery of the whole thing "and so do" was amazing. Insane acting skills.
And Charlie mouthing the speech with a smile on his face while recording it is just 👌🏼
I think it might be because the scene that actually made it in has funnier delivery, while some other bloopers have jokes that are so funny that they can't even make it into the show
That scene in the show was the first time I cry laughed at a piece of media since Monty Python. I was hooked because of Dennis in that scene. He needs to give himself more credit.
It makes the scene funnier
So the cast keep saying that scene was improved, but in the blooper (and the actual scene) you can see Charlie mouthing along with Glenn. How on Earth could Charlie possibly know what Glenn was going to say if it was improv?
Glenn's face when Rob said "That's why they call it Mid Atlantic" 😆
Isn't it transatlantic?
@@GamertagOscar417 Is it? Lol That would be even funnier 😆
Mid-Atlantic and Trans-Atlantic is often mistaken as the same thing, but the Trans-Atlantic accent is more British sounding. The Mid-Atlantic accent came first, and was first popular among blue collar Jews from Boston as early as the 1890s. The new arrivals to America were quick to blend into the primarily Irish enclave, and soon adopted the Irish way of speaking with their own "twist" to it adding their own slang and inflection on certain words (think Bugs Bunny). The first microphones used by film studios were designed to pick up this higher pitch (cuz mics were new and crappy and could only be tuned to pick up clean high or clean low notes. A clean low note mic would make women almost inaudible so they chose high). And eventually the mimics became the mimicked. James Cagney, Ed Robinson, then Mayor Laguardia, and even Al Pacino in Godfather 1 all used this dialect and kept it famous for almost a century.
Edit: a full century. Miller's Crossing came out in '90, more of modern depiction and Irish version, but Mid-Atlantic still
@@imemberberry 🤡
@@imemberberry That's super interesting. Not sure if it's true, but I don't know enough about accents to dispute it.
I actually NEVER knew Charlie turning away was a cover until I watched the bloopers. It never stood out to me as odd. Now it’s my favorite thing to find lmao
I love how Rob subtly brings up The Bends just so he can dump a bunch of facts about it 😂 a true showrunner at heart
Love the little look that Glenn gives Charlie when he realizes he doesn’t know where the nitrogen goes 😆😆😆
I can't believe they talked about Caissons on this podcast randomly though. When I learned of those I was blown away. Its like a construction diving bell.
The Bends is Radiohead's best album.
Those were not facts.
The bends were NOT discovered that way, they don't work the way they said, and they weren't called the bends for the reasons they said.
Almost no facts were used in that explanation, except for the fact that they used diving bells in the past.
Stop taking whatever the fuck actors say as fact and use that internet connection to educate yourself
"Facts"? You think your skin releases nitrogen? For the love of god please tell you are joking.
I'm mindblown by how happy this made me. This is what I dreamed the podcast would be when I heard it existed. The scene of Charlie and Dennis trying to file the false report. It brings tears to my eyes. He was shushing our cries for help. That is so wildly funny.
Cheers for being happy!
Agree. This was an amazingly joyful and light hearted episode! Great Podcast!
It’s my favourite scene in the show when Charlie says he shook him off and does a little shaking gesture…and Dennis just has to go with it…gold
Sooo...please dont, say that it got bit.
@@mambaregime He barely made it in there, and the guy was really small so I’m fine.
I genuinely watch the bloopers from this show whenever I'm feeling especially sad. Been doing it for years.
A guaranteed good time!
Same! Best thing to turn a frown upside down 😃
“I just laughed cause they were laughing” is such a mac vibe
Yep
39:40 I think this works so well because it makes it seem like Charlie is sooooo uncomfortable at how psychopathic Dennis' behaviour is.
Stop Chorla! This game has gone on long enough and Shes MASHING IT!!!! Kills me everytime! Best bloopers ever.
🤣💯
They got my favorites in here but yeah those were great
we’re talking about YOU😂
Omg those both killed me, first time with the stop chorlai i could not stop laughing. And his face in "she's mashing it.. mashing"
Also the same guy who did wet nips had a "You'll call heeeeer" hilarious delivery.
And some classic dennis ones "I GOT TO HAVE MY TOOLS" and "I will chop you up into a million little pieces.. a glass box"
Hi there, Jack Kelly, I'm a lawyer...?
Getting "make sure to smoke a cigarette so the smoke can kill the toxins in your stomach" vibe from Rob.
That doesn't sound right, but I don't know enough about viruses or the Bends to dispute it.
In thru the nose, out thru the skin.
"This dude cut someone off in the drive thru and I'm thinking do I have to get my baseball bat out of my trunk and beat him in front of my kids?" Is the most Mac thing ever lol
Jimmi Simpson going "He is dead.... to me. HEEEESSS DEEEAAAADDD!" kills me every time. I can watch that on repeat.
My favorite blooper is when Charlie and Frank are deciding which of them keeps Charlie’s drawings 😭

@@JackDManheim He likely works for them
Or she
Or they
Never asked
I always pictured Glen needing all his food on separate parts of the plate, with no overlap. The idea he wants “everything in his mouth” is mind boggling
Yeah as an anal person myself, I'm similar to Glen in that way. It's a matter of wanting each bite to be the "ideal" bite with perfect balance, as long as the foods actually complement each other.
@@combogalisim the same!! I have to eat all the food in equal amounts so there's not a ton left over of any specific thing
@@combogalisas an anal person???
i love that glenn isnt scared to just ask questions. never seems too shy or embarrassed when he doesnt know something and isnt afraid to just ask
It’s wild seeing Rob say smart things, I’m so used to seeing him as Mac and don’t believe he’s _not_ just making it up 😂
Megan is a mind-reader mentioning Charlie's 'I don't even think he gets us man' while Glenn was talking about finding the scene, that was *exactly* what I was desperately hoping they would talk about, if it was improvised or not.
it’s funny because I always interpreted charlie looking away in the department store scene as him just being very uncomfortable with the situation after the girls reveal they have boyfriends, so he just starts awkwardly looking around 😂
The Blooper version of Glenn’s fake English accent is my favourite moment of the entire show.
I love how Charlie and Rob always have to explain the jokes to Glen
I find this funny as well. As such a natural comedic actor he’s very literally and seems to not grasp the jokes as easily as Charlie and Rob it’s strange.
@@TheErn89 dude's so extremely humble and modest he doesnt realize HE'S the funny bit in the scenes.
like the one him reading charlie's speech. man's like "meh not that funny" and im like "bro have you looked at yourself in that scene? you're hilarious"
@@yurilopes420 it's funny he doesn't realize he's the funniest one. What's funny is he is kind of clueless in the show of what kind of person he is 💀
Can we have an episode of Charlie actually wanting to leave Philly to deal with the New York rat problem
"Charlie vs NY Rats"
I legit was just thinking last night that the gang should go to New York for some kind of an episode since it's only 3hrs from Philly!
@@codywoodward2108 it's like 7 hours from Philly. And that's without traffic
@@Crekification well now I feel dumb because I remembered where I heard that info from... a new episode of American Dad😑🤣
@@Crekification actually we were both wrong. You by a lot more though. Just checked and it's only an hour and 45 mins from Philadelphia to New York city. Don't believe me check for yourself.
The sunny bloopers have always been top tier
Must admit the "so filled for you" line had me in tears 😂 glad that one made it into the show 👌
Rob is 1000% right about why we love watching the bloops. You can tell how some sets or shows are less fun by the bloopers, you guys are genuinely clever and you can tell that you guys love each other.
It’s impressive that Rob had little acting experience before the show and was able to (at least from the viewer’s perspective) flawlessly mix with actors a bit more seasoned. I love this show
I'm glad they mentioned Frank's turd meatball blooper cos it's shot to the top of my favourites, along with the classic "I like to BIND, I like to BEEEE BOUND!!". Whenever I'm rewatching the show I also rewatch the bloopers after each season and it's probably my favourite part. The bloopers really tie it together for me, likely in a similar manner as they do for these guys watching them before a new season. You can really see the love.
“My tools!!!!”
I CANNOT watch that scene with Frank and the meatballs. I have to keep telling myself "it's not poop, it's not poop, it's not poop!"
Yesss I love the reunion tools bloopers! Also the one when Dennis is threatening to chop up Dee and says something about rotting fish and furniture, haha.
My favorite bloopers are Mac and Charlie interviewing simultaneously with Michael Naughton. The improv is hilarious; Education: Odd jobs here and there? 😂
"more here than there" 😂
My favorite bloopers are probably the scene with Cricket describing the dog orgy to Charlie and anything involving Mac's mom
We've all probably seen these bloopers and more, 500 times, so seeing them reacting and laughing along is so satisfying lmao so good
I'm so envious of these guys getting to laugh constantly with friends in their day jobs.
The way Dennis delivers that line," how could you not know the reason I invited you back is to bang you" cracks me up so hard every time. He's so disappointed not just because they have boyfriends but because they didn't pick up on the fact that he was trying to bang them
My sister's boyfriend has never seen the show but has been obsessed with watching the bloopers for years. It's amazing how many references and highly memorable moments come from them.
When a member of the gang is trying to explain something and getting irritated when the other character don't get it is one off my favorite running gags in the show haha
Jimmi Simpson's bloopers were hands down the best
I don't disagree, but I put Hornsby bloopers on the same level. Simply love em both. 😁
"Uh, ghouls" :) might be the best delivery of a line in the whole show for me. Every time.
That look that Glenn gives Charlie while Rob is explaining the bends 😂😂😂😂😂
“TOOLS I have to have my TOOLS!!” Greatest blooper cut
I met Charlie Day once in a Bowling Alley in Austin Tx. Super genuine and Kind person…He even asked me my name because I stupidly blurted out “Oh Shit, it’s Charlie Day!” as he walked past me. I feel really dumb in retrospect because I’m sure that happens to him all the time…As a matter of fact he even took pictures with other fans who recognized him later on.
Such a cool dude.
Amazing!!
That little smile Charlie does when he answers "Ghouls" in the dating profile scene *always* gets a laugh from me. It never fails.
The bloopers have been useful in treating my long term crippling depression.
Keep your head up, kiddo! There are many more seasons of IASIP to look forward to 😊
@@jonvitullo748 green man and IASIP are literally saving my life right now. 😀
your bloopers are so great because your characters are SUCH characters - literal caricatures - so seeing you break continuously for a scene, laugh insanely, improv, etc just gives such delightful insight into the show and into you all as actors and creators. Your bloopers are BY FAR my favorite of anything. PLEASE keep them coming and please never start taking yourselves seriously :)
watching rob trying to school everyone with "mid-atlantic" when the accent is transatlantic feels like a mac moment
It used to be called the mid Atlantic accent though at least when talking about the put on accents of some Hollywood actors of the early to mid 20th century
Same with the nitrogen thing he was waffling about all that too
It's both.
The running gag of "one of the guys always being late", ....if even only by 10 seconds, is hilarious.
Have a great week Creeps!
Megan hit it on the nose, the awesomeness of the bloopers is the contrast between the character relationships and the actor relationships. It's the same reason that the Office bloopers are great, my favorites being between John and Rainn because it's obvious how close they were in RL.
I live for the bloopers. I literally watched every blooper this show has put out over and over again from the beginning of the pandemic to this day. But I will say this, I love it when Meg laughs, I literally live for that. And I love it when Kaitlin breaks.
Sunny bloopers are so good because, you get the gang hanging out as themselves and them laughing, but also we get the real reactions to the comedy, and then also we get all the different improv, they're the best!!!
If im ever having a bad day, a few minutes of sunny bloopers turns it right around
Every podcast is like a Masterclass in screenwriting from these guys.
The way Glenn eats his food always makes me giggle😂😂😂 God I love them so much😭
Love these episodes where they really focus on the show and break it down.
Same I love listening to them talk about anything but I wish there was banter episodes and episodes specifically focused on episode breakdowns
Sunny has some of the best bloopers of all time. I swear they cut the best takes and put them into the bloopers (;
Oh for sure, I bet they've got at least twice as much potential blooper footage they just didn't think was funny enough.
Some people say the show is the bloopers and the bloopers are the actual show.
I love how big of a fan of the show Megan is
Who is Megan
@@cliftonhelmuth i think its the lady behind the desk there who is also a writer on the show.
Of course, she is being paid
My all time favourite blooper has to be Cricket talking about how he fakes it on the streets. Hysterical
I've said it before, but one of my favorite bloopers is "On Eagles Wings" in Charlie's Mom Has Cancer. 🎶and hold youse in the palm of his hands🎶
That song was sung at my dad's rosary and always makes me cry at church, but ever since I saw that blooper that song makes me smile and I have to hold in my laughter 😃
14:55 I love how Glenn's head works
My favorite bloopers, and I think the scene in the police station with Charlie and Glenn really nails this aspect, are the ones in which the person playing the straightperson in the scene just never breaks and is really able to keep it together.
40:00 I think Charlie looking away works really well in this scene because it doesn't just seem like he's breaking. Charlie has already gone "..ooh..." because he knows Dennis has just been set off, and then him kind of making himself smaller and looking away works well with him just being really uncomfortable
Megan's old show Community also has terrific bloopers (mostly thanks to Donald Glover and Alison Brie)
Annie's bloops are truly streets ahead
I love how Megan called out Harmon on Twitter (and brought the receipts) for the toxic environment he created and the harassment she endured when he was trying to brag about being some kind of progressive paragon
@@Robinripley She's one of the funniest writers in tv right now and it makes me so glad that her relationship with the (irl) gang is much more positive and natural rather than with Harmon on Community - it makes the entire show much more enjoyable knowing so too!
@@belle2638 agreed! when i found out about that stuff with dan harmon i thought abt how glad i am she started working on sunny. she’s so talented i’m glad she found a good work environment
Oh my god the pirate door is my favourite blooper of all times!
“Where’s our god damn Bible?!” has to be one of my top fav lines ever.
46:21 it still cracks me out how they laughed too much because of charlie, then they replaced charlie with rob like that would make things better
i love the bloopers so much i can reference them as much as the actual scenes😭😭
Sunny Bloopers are what I watch anytime I need a pick me up after a bad day. They've been a tremendous source of joy for me.
Rob always shares his library of knowledge. It's really nice to see how much appreciation he has for history and culture.
This podcast should be required viewing by anyone creative. It really is such an amazing insight into the process and the wonderful people who make the podcast/show.
charlie is so effortlessly funny lol
When dennis reads charlies speech, the part that kills me is charlie mouthing along proudly
Hope the mcpoyle bloopers are in pt 2 “you will call heeeeer!”
"Start breakin bricks wet nips"
I'm looking forward to "He's DEEEEEAAAAADDDDDD!"
@@urmumsbaps Bbllppppp
I just made a comment about that, how McPoyles don’t break character a single time throughout the 5 takes and everytime the main cast just DIES laughing 😂 personally it might be my favorite line of the entire series
Who else is looking forward to season 16 like nothing else?
I mean, I'll watch it. I love the show, but I'm not crazy about the recent seasons.
@@TheBlarggle I feel like 15 was a great improvement, I love the 4 parter(ish) and the dee gets replaced by a monkey felt like classic sunny imo
@@TheBlarggle bro, cry me a fucking river
@@TheBlarggle same. best show ever no doubt, but season 15 was meh
Hopefully their having revisited the older seasons during the podcast will get them back in that mindset. I doubt the show will ever be at the creative peak of seasons 4-7 again, but if they could even recapture and maintain the quality of season 10 I’d be happy.
And get rid of the bright lighting of the newer seasons, too, for the love of God!
I love Meg, she's just like one of us fans. You can see her appreciation of it all.
To me, that’s the part of the shows that I love the most…catching you guys right before you break.
The part where Dennis laughs when Charlie tells the older lady, “stop snipping at me”.
I’ve watched that spot numerous times
I love Kaitlins laugh when she breaks. It's so pretty lol
I've seen the bloopers more than the show, so this is a real treat! The bloopers are always a great way to get an inside look at how the actors actually work together, it's very fun and very meta as well.
I think for me the reason why the bloopers are so funny is because everytime I watch the show I say to myself internally, and sometimes out loud, how the hell did they not break up laughing?? Then the bloopers show you that sometimes they did do just that. Plus that you guys think each other is just as funny as we think you are
listening to Mac pretend to know the science of the bends while he explains it to Dennis' questions is classic Sunny
Your bloopers are quite possibly the funniest things about the show. Y'all's outtakes are funnier than most things on TV alone.
The best episodes are definitely when they try to represent the audience a bit. Like Charlie saying 'the character gets to be like the audience and say 'uhh no'. That atmosphere they touched into makes the show feel so real and solid.
The police station 'Please don't say it got bit when it didn't ' kills me every time, the job interview with Mac and Charlie as an honorable mention. Any blooper or scene with Dennis and Charlie is basically gold
The amount of times I've watched these bloopers is insane. My favourites are every blooper where it looks like Charlie throws out a line nobody was prepared for
love these three men
And Meg!
I also mix foods together to get different bite combos. Reminds me of Danny in that scene where he makes the sandwich in his mouth
Jimmi is such an underrated actor, he commands every scene he's in
The discussion of the cream pies in the restaurant is hilarious.
can we just appreciate how handsome they were and still are?
The setting of the podcast and megan make this incredibly cozy
megan's joy from these bloopers is so contagious
Meg seems like a sweet woman to work with and I love that these guys are doing blooper reactions on this. I watch the bloopers of Always Sunny a lot to put me in a positive state of mind.
This is what I needed. Thankyou for cheering me up on this horrible Monday morning. I've been feeling hopeless and people make me feel like I can't do anything right.
Thankyou
Pfff I'm so uncomfortable reading these type of honest comments because you feel them but never want to share them so all I want to say to people like you, know you aren't alone. Best of wishes.
Whenever I feel sad, I watch Sunny bloopers and things don't seem so bad. 😊
When Danny goes on a rant with the arbitrator, and then just wraps it up with "Nope." When she asks if he has any more questions, and the "I need my tools" scene with Dennis and the rest of the cast breaking each time are my favorite.
