    Hi, great plugin, I was just wondering if there's a way to make some objects not have the custom gravity? Since now every object I place into the map has the custom gravity. Thanks!

    looks great, hats off! does it actually work with nav meshes, i.e. are the planet surfaces walkable by AI?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 7 lety +2

      Yes CustomPawn support nav mesh , but the nav mesh does not support spherical surfaces

    This is just what I need, but I have no idea how to apply it to my project. The plugin is only available inside your gravity project, and the custom movement component is c++... It's great that you put this for free, but I'll have to be just another one saying I can't really use it, because I just don't know how to migrate it to my project.

  • @MuhammadRoychanMeliaz
    @MuhammadRoychanMeliaz Před 7 lety

    Hello again, I wanted to know how can I modify the third person blueprint? As I wanted the camera to be a child of the mesh, but I can't change it's parent. It says it's inherited from CustomPawn.cpp. Should I modified the c++ file? If so, where can I find it?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 7 lety

      changing the code of the default camera will affect many thing , the best solution is to add a new CameraComponent and Deactivate the old one .

    Is there any way to make oposite to plant gravity? So planets push you away instead of pulling down.

    • @jcombrink4343
      @jcombrink4343 Před 7 lety

      for that you could just use a radial force component

  • @notexiaomi3274
    @notexiaomi3274 Před 8 lety +3

    I (we) need an explanation. I downloaded your project but I can't find the blueprint or something else that does the custom gravity. Where have I find the code/blueprint? How does it work?

    • @notexiaomi3274
      @notexiaomi3274 Před 8 lety

      I guess all "magic" happens in your plugin. But I don't know how to open it, and very likely it contains c++ code, that does not make sense to me, yet. Can I make that custom gravity using blueprint and how?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 8 lety

      +Note Xiaomi Look at blueprints folder , inside each blueprint you will find all the properties,variable and function you need

    • @notexiaomi3274
      @notexiaomi3274 Před 8 lety

      @S0paTa Před 6 lety

      Hello, I think the plugin can be downloaded with example maps. Look at the example maps, particularly in the level construction script. There you will find how the plugin can be used in blueprints. Cheers!

    Hello mhousse, how can I implement this plugin to my existing project? I have a character working, how can I add this behavior to my character?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 7 lety

      Sorry but I'm not rama !
      You can't use this with ue4 character class , the plugin is based on pawn class + a custom movement component

    • @MuhammadRoychanMeliaz
      @MuhammadRoychanMeliaz Před 7 lety

      Mhousse1247 whoa really sorry about that. I know you're not rama. My mind was messed up.
      If I want to use this custom gravity, the only way is recreate my character using your mannequin as the base?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 7 lety

      Yes any blueprint class drived from Custom Pawn or it childs (many types are already covred in the examples ) raw.githubusercontent.com/mhousse1247/UE4-CustomGravityPlugin/master/ClassedHierarchy.PNG

      Mhousse1247 do I compile the uproject file?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 7 lety

      open uproject file , it will ask you to build ( Just you will need 4.13+ to work)

    • @jcombrink4343
      @jcombrink4343 Před 7 lety

      I did this but it gives me errors, saying it could not be compiled and I need to try rebuilding it manually, could this be because I have a github built version of ue4?

  • @lutekytg
    @lutekytg Před 2 lety

    This is all good and fine but most of us have no idea how to actually use this. There doesn't seem to be any kind of explanation anywhere on how to use it once it's installed, so for me and, I assume, many others, it's a bit of a let down, which is sad considering how great this actually looks. You should really consider making a proper tutorial, or, at the very least, a few step by step explanations.

      How can i fix it?

    • @Mhousse
      @Mhousse  Před 6 lety

      You will need to click yes so the engine will rebuild the project

      Install guide to install what? All what you need to do is to run the project. The plugin is provided with 5 examples showing how to use it with different situations. For the last version check my website www.ue4resources.com/plugins
