Hi, great plugin, I was just wondering if there's a way to make some objects not have the custom gravity? Since now every object I place into the map has the custom gravity. Thanks!
This is just what I need, but I have no idea how to apply it to my project. The plugin is only available inside your gravity project, and the custom movement component is c++... It's great that you put this for free, but I'll have to be just another one saying I can't really use it, because I just don't know how to migrate it to my project.
Hello again, I wanted to know how can I modify the third person blueprint? As I wanted the camera to be a child of the mesh, but I can't change it's parent. It says it's inherited from CustomPawn.cpp. Should I modified the c++ file? If so, where can I find it?
I (we) need an explanation. I downloaded your project but I can't find the blueprint or something else that does the custom gravity. Where have I find the code/blueprint? How does it work?
I guess all "magic" happens in your plugin. But I don't know how to open it, and very likely it contains c++ code, that does not make sense to me, yet. Can I make that custom gravity using blueprint and how?
Hello, I think the plugin can be downloaded with example maps. Look at the example maps, particularly in the level construction script. There you will find how the plugin can be used in blueprints. Cheers!
Mhousse1247 whoa really sorry about that. I know you're not rama. My mind was messed up. If I want to use this custom gravity, the only way is recreate my character using your mannequin as the base?
Yes any blueprint class drived from Custom Pawn or it childs (many types are already covred in the examples ) raw.githubusercontent.com/mhousse1247/UE4-CustomGravityPlugin/master/ClassedHierarchy.PNG
I did this but it gives me errors, saying it could not be compiled and I need to try rebuilding it manually, could this be because I have a github built version of ue4?
This is all good and fine but most of us have no idea how to actually use this. There doesn't seem to be any kind of explanation anywhere on how to use it once it's installed, so for me and, I assume, many others, it's a bit of a let down, which is sad considering how great this actually looks. You should really consider making a proper tutorial, or, at the very least, a few step by step explanations.
Sorry, it the first time when i'm downloading someone's else project, so i'm bad in such questions, but when i'm trying to launch current version it shows: "The following modules are missing or built with a different engine version" How can i fix it?
provide a tutorial or a install guide . I got ur plug in on github with no directions on how to install it. It;s not that all who are looking for custom gravity are pro. I'm newcomer do help
Install guide to install what? All what you need to do is to run the project. The plugin is provided with 5 examples showing how to use it with different situations. For the last version check my website www.ue4resources.com/plugins
Awesome Plugin! one of the best for Unreal, i wish it had a video tutorial...
I hope you keep updating it in the future.
Congrats! Best Plugin :D
best plugin since rama's victoryBP
thx
Is there a tutorial on how to use this?

Thank u man! This is great!
Hey can you make it where the character can walk on all surfaces like the custom pawn id really appretiate it

thanks
Hello, great tool, is it possible on Surface gravity turn off on some certain objects? Or it is global?
could I have a tutorial plz
looks great, hats off! does it actually work with nav meshes, i.e. are the planet surfaces walkable by AI?
Yes CustomPawn support nav mesh , but the nav mesh does not support spherical surfaces

changing the code of the default camera will affect many thing , the best solution is to add a new CameraComponent and Deactivate the old one .
Any downloads available for 4.20?
Is there any way to make oposite to plant gravity? So planets push you away instead of pulling down.
for that you could just use a radial force component

+Note Xiaomi Look at blueprints folder , inside each blueprint you will find all the properties, variable and function you need
+Mhousse1247 could you be more specific?
because I have tried and I found nothing that
+Note Xiaomi ...that change gravity

any new for a 4.20 version ?
Hello mhousse, how can I implement this plugin to my existing project? I have a character working, how can I add this behavior to my character?
Sorry but I'm not rama !
You can't use this with ue4 character class , the plugin is based on pawn class + a custom movement component
Mhousse1247 whoa really sorry about that. I know you're not rama. My mind was messed up.

Mhousse1247 Ah ok thank you sir. You just gave an awesome gift to the community.
Any chance this is getting ported to UE5?
What versions of UE is this compatible with?
4.15 is the last stable version but there is older versions too (4.10.1,4.12.5 , 4.13 , 4.14)
download link? i cant find it on the forum link you posted
Check out the first page of the thread
This is great, but it stops working when I try to package the project
+Tanis W (stockbrot) NVM, it got fixed in the newest release, good work! :)
how do you install this plugin, because I'm having some trouble with it?
I am using a github built engine, how do I install the plugin to it?
You need just to launch the project and compile
Mhousse1247 do I compile the uproject file?
open uproject file , it will ask you to build ( Just you will need 4.13+ to work)
I did this but it gives me errors, saying it could not be compiled and I need to try rebuilding it manually, could this be because I have a github built version of ue4?

Is there is will be 4.16.2 version? Because i can't launch it on my version... :(
"Custom Gravity Project 4.15 (Latest Version)" is working on 4.16
Ok. Thanks
Sorry, it the first time when i'm downloading someone's else project, so i'm bad in such questions, but when i'm trying to launch current version it shows: "The following modules are missing or built with a different engine version"
How can i fix it?
You will need to click yes so the engine will rebuild the project
It's failing and asking me to do it manually in the source. But how?
Is it supported for networking?
+Артём Селиванов Really sorry , networking is not implemented !
Wait, so does that mean it would not work for multiplayer?
hi, where i can download this?
