Jonas Gutierrez put in a man of the match performance on the final day of the 2014/15 Premier League season to save Newcastle from relegation. The Argentine got an assist and then scored as the Magpies defeated West Ham 2-0 to ensure their survival. To make the performance even more remarkable, Jonas had only recently returned to the side after beating cancer.

I’m a liverpool fan and i celebrated like mad when he tucked it away. an absolutely unbelievable story, a fairytale.
I remember seeing this on tv and the quote "the man who knows the true meaning, of survival, makes sure newcastle survive here today!" will stay with me forever. Probably the most touching sports moment i have ever seen/heard. A true survivour and hero. ⚫⚪❤
