Newcastle United fans celebrate a 3-2 win away at West Brom in the FA Cup 5th Round, March 2020.
One of the loudest away ends we’ve seen, the noise generated was absolutely unreal.

That’s surprising, the loudest I’ve ever heard as an away fan was at Stoke, ‘Stoke will tear you apart again’ yous were 4-0 up I was on the stairs leaving the ground thinking ‘fuck this’

Am from Chile the end of the worlds, when I was kid I Lived in Newcastle 1973 to 1976, Whedon to wembley final F.A CUP agains liverpool, from that time am Geordies, your supports are same of our team Wanderers of Valparaíso, they called the Panzer, they are always singing un the good times and bad times this are more often, but we are always there.

I am a Newcastle fan from the Netherlands, and my grandmother is from Newcastle but immigrated to the Netherlands so thats why Newcastle is my club, but what an atmosphere, unbelievable. I went to the game Newcastle - Sunderland in 2014, greatest experience ever.
My dream is to live in the UK and visit all the games of NUFC.
I'm an American. Father was born and raised in Newcastle. As was his Mom.
So, I never had a choice when it came to what club I supported.

The West Brom fans were that impressed they actually filmed the Newcastle Fans in the Away end from the Home stand here.
West Brom fans are some of the few, vanishingly rare Midlands fans who Newcastle fans have no bother with and get on well with.

I remember Newcastle visiting Elland Road back in the 1990’s. The Newcastle fans are the best and noisiest fans in the country. No other away fans came close. Hopefully Leeds will go up this season and we can enjoy that Geordie noisy lot again 😂😂😂

As a Leeds fan we match them, in the mid 1990’s the grounds were tested for dB levels. Leeds and Newcastle joint top. Always loved the Geordies at ER, never stop singing, like us . Proper fans. 👍

I lived in Newcastle as a student at the then Polytechnic from 1985-88 and lived in Bensham. I love the Geordies, I can speak it when on the dog. Brilliant beer.

The fact we where that loud two years ago with nothing to cherr about is crazy. We are 100x louder now we have something to cheer about on the pitch.

I was a student in stoke from Newcastle. Went to the local stoke boozer and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Didn't care. Many a pint drank, many a conversation. Loved every minute of it.

As a Boro fan I’ll always sing the praises of the north east support, and you can’t knock the Geordies to be fair, always take a full allocation and make a right fucking racket which is what an away support should do.

As I said before over many years we have surprisingly found ourselves getting on well with WBA fans when down there, the only midlands club we do get on with which has only really started in the last 20 years when the media have really attacked Newcastle fans non stop and the dumber rival fans (like Villa for example) take everything they say as fact without bothering to check. With West Brom we just get usual banter and digs. With other midland clubs, it's just spiteful and nastier as they wave their quotes from the press - easier than thinking for themselves I suppose....

My first experience of these lot was at Elland rd they had the whole west stand in about 02-03 was very loud
Have to laugh. From 1963-1993 I missed 6 Home games @ Millwall and one of them was the 2/1 win v Newcastle in August , 1978 while laying in the sun abroad so gave my ticket to a Non Millwall fan. In visiting 82 Grounds and going to over 2,000 matches , mostly Millwall , I had never been involved in anything ( some close calls) over 58 years of attending and yet on that day a Geordie broke the police cordon down The Old Kent Road and punched the guy in the stomach who had my ticket for no reason.....:)

One of the best away matches I've been to with the toon was Milan away in 02/03 when we drew 2-2 (distant memories now). We took 12,500 fans that night and a few weeks later Wales played Italy there and took 8,000 😂

@@Inthecrowd We all got funnelled in through one entrance too and were pelted by coins, nuts and bolts, urine, etc. The Italian police had their riot gear on, paramedics were going into the crowd every so often with hard hats on, but not one Newcastle fan reacted badly to give the police the excuse to get involved. Toon played WBA mid week around 1988 may of been FA cup replay. Anyways, WBA had around 1-2000 in the old small leazes end pen . Made great noise, best ive seen at St James.
