My first plane ride was on a Delta 727, YUL TO BOS. I just turned 7 that summer. I'm now 66 yrs old and love to see you and your lovely wife laughing so hard, It reminds me of my wife and myself after 30 yrs still laughing hard at ourselves. Beautiful!!
Next time in town stop by the new Vancouver waterfront. Only 15 min from PDX, Beautiful place, lots of good food options and enjoy seeing planes taking off over head!

It never ceases to amaze me what guys will do for fun and adventure, the risks they take . . . but then it must have felt mighty fine to emerge from the top engine on a 727 and walk the plank (fuselage). Paul, thanks for another great video, you are one heck of a pilot.
You're right there is nothing coming back home after a great trip. However the anticipation and excitement getting there is always great feeling as well.

Such wonderful use of euphemisms.... I don't recall this feeling for decades.... speechless and expressionless for the first 5 full minutes of the 727 experience.... weird very weird. Yes, I've marveled for many years at the thought of actually living on an aircraft but now, thanks but no thanks.
That was definitely a unique home, you’ve definitely got me scratching my head wondering how he got that aircraft out there. Dunno if you remember me, but I commented on a post of yours saying that I work for another airline (same one as Big Ern) as a ramp agent, and that I was going to do a discovery flight. The first one I did unfortunately was more of a sightseeing tour, but I did one with another aviation school this past Thursday, and was pretty nervous, but eventually started to get the hang of it. It became very calming and enjoyable. I wish I could start flight school right this moment, but have to square a few health related items so that I have no issue with the first class medical.

The guy lives in the woods, but is aware of current affairs in the outside world - one of the door (plug) panels is painted with the Ukrainian Flag and the coat of arms! Cool! Very good vlog! To say he is eccentric is an understatement and an electrical engineer at that ! You and your FOs facial expressions say it all.......and the history of the aircraft... who wouldve thought ..... Paul, this was so awesome! 😎 I teach and fly out of Twin Oaks Airpark (7S3) which is about 5 miles north of the airplane house! I've flown over it several times. Glad you had a safe and unique adventure in our backyard!
At 8:30, there's an issue of Airways magazine, at the seat. That issue has an article about Bruce and how he got the 727 to that place. The article includes a picture of him. It was such a shock to see him 20+ years later on this video. I have that same issue right here with me. Excellent video, as always.👍👍

My dad and I saw that 727 at the Hillsboro airport where it was ferried to as it was the closest 727 capable airport to the homesite. Pretty cool then. Sorry it looks so decrepit now.

Tour with Bruce was fascinating. It’s always cool to see what makes such a unique person tick.
I visited this 727 around 2003 and the trees around the 727 were much smaller than they are in this video.
Well I would hope trees get a lot bigger over 20 years XD
