Hey Paul, you really inspired me to become an airline pilot, am now I am working towards my private!
Me too, I just registered today for my first flight class next week
Me too! He‘s really influenced a generation.
Thanks Paul. Last year I cudn't spell Arline Pilate and now I are one! 😜
Me too!
Whoa. That’s wild.
Congratulations Paul! I'm sure that your wife and children will be happy to have you on a normal schedule now. Thanks for taking us along on your journeys.
He had 20 days off for the month, so they really can't complain.
I love the 757. I am a retired electrician, and one of the biggest treats in my career was working on an energy-conservation lighting project in the 757 final assembly plant in the early-1990's. We did our project on swing shift, so the factory floor was fairly empty and quiet. A beautiful airplane indeed!
They were putting one out every three days at that point, and we got to watch several of them go from start to finish. By the next-to-the-last position on the line, they had the planes connected to power and hydraulics and were testing the rudders, swinging them back and forth. Made an interesting whooshing noise that echoed around the factory floor.
The 757 was about $100 Million then, so I told my co-workers to think about a business that opens up their big doors every three days and spits out another $100 Million product!
Couldn’t have a better member of the UA Team presenting this honor to the frequent flyer. Paul your genuine-kind-and a great representative of our profession….keep on keepin on! 🙏🏾
I just want to say that I love how positive and inspiring you are, and we need that and more of it in this world we live in, thank you keep them comming
Paul, respect and my hat off to you sir, the production of your videos is amazing, and how while traveling to and from work, you still find a way to make your videos feel like you’re on a vacation, is admirable. Keep them coming please, always look forward to seeing your adventures my friend.
Out of all the aviation channels out there, this one is the best I’ve come across. Your content, video production, and humble personality (as many others have stated) have made this channel one of my new favorites.
And one of my best friends here in KY is originally from Albert Lea, MN.
You should check out Swayne Martin on here!! They give a similar vibe with aviation content, video production, and really informative videos!!! I love them both
Congratulations on being able to hold a line!
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words at the end. I’m currently working on my ppl and getting ready for my solo! It is challenging but I love it. Having to fly an aircraft and seeing a different perspective of the world is…priceless!
Captain! I was on your flight from Newark to Stockholm! I knew I recognized your voice from somewhere. Very professional crew!
No way!
You make big changes by doing a lot of small changes. Love that. Currently getting ready for my first solo so that part hit home for me. Love the videos!
As always a great video, Paul. I love the way your videos give us an insight into the cities you travel to. So glad for you, that are now on a normal schedule. Which will, no doubt work better for you and family. As a vivid av geek, I love how you explain about the life of a pilot and the workings. Love everything to do with airlines and planes. Keep them coming!!
Thank you for taking us on this lovely experience .
Congratulations on your seniority! You can now enjoy the fruits of your labor after years of hard work! Love the videos! Would love to hear about some of the complexities of piloting in the airlines. Dealing with heavy x-wind landings or working with international ATC. Thanks!
Congrats Paul!. You're one of my favorite content creators. I really liked your last bit about setting goals.
You have an amazing channel! & I really love the quality of your content! Thanks for your dedication to this channel!
i love your videos, keep doing what you are doing man, you really inspire people in every video that you make 🤗
I am full of honest, sincere admiration for the positive, accomplished man you are. I only wish I could have one tenth of your outlook and skills. Congrats - spooling up those huge RB211s would be a major ego boost for me 😂❤
Always a pleasure to watch! Congrats on the new status!
New to the channel! I have always had a passion for flying and my dream has always been to be a pilot. Your videos help me as push to my pursuit of becoming a pilot so thank you for sharing with us and as a CZcamsr myself I know how much work it really takes to make videos great for the viewers so I love how you put in the bloopers at the end! Congrats on becoming a Captain 👨✈️! Have safe flights and I will see you around one day 🙏🏽🙌🏽
Hello, captain! It’s always nice watching your vlogs. There’s a certain lightness and positivity to how you treat it. I just worked EWR-ARN two weeks before you did and how I wish I got to be part of your crew! Hope to work with you someday :)
Thanks for doing what you do as you bring joy and inspiration to many! I hope to see you one day at EWR!
Really happy you hear you have a regular schedule. Looking forward to more videos/ locations to come.

Great video! Sweden is on my bucket list. Thanks for the info on how scheduling works. Keep sharing your adventures!!
Thank you for the content, Paul! really refreshing from the other aviation content and i really like how genuine you are. Hopefully i will be able to be on the same flight as you are piloting , get to visit the flight deck and get those trading cards and wing pins from you!
Congrats on making it out of reserve. Very good advice on achieving your goals!
As someone who’s about to get a checkride for private pilot. You’re inspiring and motivating to keep going onto the airlines which is my ultimate goal
I'm always rooting for ya!
Love your videos Paul. Excellent work you put into this stories.
Your advice regarding achieving one’s goals is very good. I always enjoy your videos.
Love the bloopers and showing some of how things have been reordered like the drone shot. Love the channel 🥰
I always LOVE your adventures!! I've been looking forward to your video for a while and this one didn't disappoint! I had to laugh at the "mental preparation" for your friend to get out of the kayak! LOL!!!
Captain Paul, your stories are a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!
This YT thing is a lot more work than most think! I spent some time at the local cable access TV station back in the 80's/90's....oh man, setting up shots and voice (days before adding voiceovers) were just crazy! Then you gotta edit the whole thing....or just leave the bloops. Haha! Congrats on getting off reserve status!!
I agree with you on just make small goals and achieve them....bigger goals will follow with those. Until your next video....
Hi Paul! I absolutely love the videos, and thank you for sharing these amazing videos on side, while being your own person!
Love your stuff Paul. Working on my commercial right now!! see ya up there!
Another banger. Well-edited and under appreciated. Thanks for the vid captain
Paul,
Love your content and it's great to see the world from someone else's eyes..Keep doing what your doing and be Safe!!😊
Great hearing you are going to have a more normal schedule Paul. Hope you and your family are doing well!
Always such high quality videos. Great scenery and you always learn something
Your videos always make me smile and wonder. Thank you Paul!
Your videography skills are amazing. Just found your channel tonight and very much enjoying it!
You are becoming (or already are) a master cameraman and video editor. Those bloopers at the end show how much thought you need to take to get a good video.
Love your videos! I hope that you are my pilot when I travel to Europe. 😊 And love the new logo!
I always enjoy watching your videos. Love the bloopers!
Your story telling is next level. Incredible editing, my man!
Great vlog Paul. Never been to Stockholm but it’s on the list! Great advice helping to keep us focused.
My great grandparents came from Sweden and settled in Michigan. When my mom and I visited Stockholm 10 years ago I felt like I was home. Gorgeous country.
It’s so nice to see,” Minnesota Nice,” reveal itself to the whole world. I’m from Willmar, which, used to be, “Train Nice.” I just love tour videos because you are so successful. That’s the Minnesota way. You chose to stay here; raise your family here, commute, to what off most of us think here, is horrible. You have never lost the monster
Minnesota way. Thank you for showing the world that; Minnesotans are great!
I was excited when I saw you had a new vlog this morning but had to wait till tonight to watch it 😊
I love your Car !!! Hats Off for all the work you do on your Channel !!!
Awsome video as always!! In 2 weeks i am doing a Den to Sfo to Lax to Den all on 757 200/300 versions trip Cant wait!!
Awesome channel love the narration and the details you provide on all of your adventures.
Hi! Paul. Thank You for sharing this wonderful inspirational video. Looking forward to your next video.
It’s great that your friends and colleagues help you film your videos!
Really glad I came across this channel. Enjoy the content and thank you for sharing.
Great video. Thanks for sharing a window into your life.
Paul, I know you're busy and all with family and exploring the world and such, but we need videos more frequently. you're my favourite Pilot Life channel to watch! Blue Skies & Tail Winds brother!
love the video and especially the bloopers. As a youtuber myself I know al to well how easy it is to stumble up on your words. Just brush it off and keep rollin, just like you already doing =D
Great video. Hate to say but I my favorite part was you breaking your microphone. That facial reaction was priceless lmao. Hope all is well and thank you for showing us fun things!
Another great video!! My kids and I look forward to all your videos. I hope one day United will let you do the fly over at Oshkosh 🤙🏼
Your message at the end . . . I'm showing that to my 19 yo son who has just a few flights left before his FAA flight for his PPL. His plans are to fly commercial, but right now, it all seems quite daunting. We always tell him don't try to eat life in one big bite - one spoonful at a time. Those small, achievable goals make life a bit sweeter and the hard times, easier to swallow. Thanks for that!! We wish you blue skies and following winds. 😊
Life is just one big 💩sandwich 🥪and every day is just another bite! 🙄
Best of luck Paul with you new schedule it will be better for you and your family. Love your videos I always watched with my girls, when we flight United they always looking for you when the captain say the name 🛫 thank you for sharing!
So lucky YT recommended me this channel - really nice energy and great videos Capt.
FINALLY PAUL IS BACK! I dream of flying for United just like you by the way. I plan on flying the triple 7 and your videos inspire me despite you flying the 757. Thanks for your content though!
Great video. Just passed my commerical checkride on Friday, the goal is getting to where you're at!
It became a custom of mine to click👍on your videos before watching them. Thanks for always fixing my bugs for aviation and flying so successfully!
Thanks for another great video! I really want to transition into aviation, I wish one day I'll be able to do so. Also, congratulations on the seniority. PS I watch Kara and Nate too :)
Great to see you visit Sthlm Sweden. Hope you hade great time and welcome back again :)
I just operated my first ever flight to MSP! 😎✈️ What a great terminal! I was literally walking around the place thinking about how cool it would be to run into you. I would’ve loved introducing my crew to my favourite CZcamsr👍🏼 Great video as always Paul, thanks for sharing.
Loved the bloopers. "HOW I broke my mic in 5 , 4, 3 ...." 😂 You're crew was very patient too! Just awesome!

Love love your videos!! So interesting so well done so enjoyed!! Keep up this please love from Toronto Canada
Another great video! Enjoy the bloopers. Can you make a video on your equipment and editing process (cameras, software, drones etc) . Seems you put a lot of effert into editing and would love to see how it's done and your thought process.
Great video. Great message!!
That is so cool you recorded my window when you paddling past Karlberg castle !

Awesome as always great content!!
Thank you!
Anchor yourself alongside the dock by placing a portion of your paddle behind you … against the seat back with the bar on the dock. Then you can easy extricate from the cockpit. Luv your videos!
Welcome back Paul. We missed ya.
I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. They’re always entertaining, informative, and inspirational. They sure help me remember why I started CFI 😅. If you haven’t already, I’d love to hear more about what it was like waiting those two years to get a schedule, the ups and downs etc.
Congratulations on getting out of reserves 🎉
