3 Medium Sweet potato
300G Plain Flour
Pinch of Salt
150G Sugar
75G Desiccated Coconut

Hi Shelina, thanks for the vid. I love the gato patate, but I struggle to make it properly here as the dough becomes too wet & therefore absorbs lot more flour than we normally use from the variety of sweet potatoes we have in Mauritius, any tips or tricks you can share with me . It reminds me also of my youth where my whole family will make tons of all sorts of sweets for families, friends & the whole neighbourhood . Btw Happy Diwali & greetings from Bristol.
