This series is interesting, especially with how huge your collection is! Those 50th Anniversary copies from Walmart are awesome! I got my mom a copy of "An Innocent Man" from Discogs that is the Walmart colored variant and she LOVED it! Was also able to pick up an OG VG+ copy of "The Stranger", for myself, from Discogs too! Can't wait for the next episode!

@@PiecesofVinyl Try giving my Discogs another look, I think I fixed it to be able to look at my list. I'd like to here what you have to say about anything I have. And my 1st question about what you have is the eccentric series you have. I've been debating on whether to buy it or not, just because there's so many good soul compilation out there. And if you go through my collection you'll see I have a few. So let's start with that question
The "random" feature in Discogs is NOT AI! Calling this title "clickbait" is an understatement
I mean …what is AI? I didn’t make the decision - the computer did. I fed it information and it spit something back - is this not what chat-gpt does? but at a much larger scale? Plus when else would a vinyl channel have anything to do with AI? 🤖
@@PiecesofVinyl Puhleeze. Simple answer is nope. dev/random is not AI. Shaking your phone to trigger a random function in an app != text prompt or input. Following your logic would mean a dice roll or a coin toss would be AI. You know the difference. What you've done is take a look at all those sweet YT views AI channels receive and clickbaited your episode here inappropriately to try and get ya some sweet CZcams recommendation algorithm action. 🤣

Love your videos. Have you ever heard the album Golden Ticket by Brasstracks? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts. They are a fusion of some of the types of music I think you’d enjoy. Maybe a little more on the pop side on a few songs. But I think they’d make for an interesting listen. I say this because I forgot I had this album in my collection and thanks to this feature on the Discogs app I recently played it again. Love this feature! Thanks for your videos too! Great work!
I have not heard of them - but I just checked them out - very cool. I was into a lot of stuff like this in the early 2000's - kind of feels a little like St. Germaine but with more of a soul/hip hop vibe. It's awesome that you re found this in your collection from the shuffle! I have done that and continue to!
