  • This episode talks about the urge to isolate and some reasons (in my experience) for that, even when we may know it might make things harder. I hope by sharing, this can help provide more understanding for people who know someone who is going through depression, or for yourself if you are struggling with it.
    My reasons:
    - not wanting to be a burden
    - the fear/frustration of not feeling understood
    - social anxiety or general anxiety
    - the lack of energy (physical and mental) to be able to engage, especially as someone who identifies as an extroverted introvert

Maybe you could do a daily routine with depression. What do you do in order to stop ruminating? Rumination is my number one enemy. I commend you for starting a chanel...hang in there ...the algorithm gods will smile down on you 😊

Hey Gia! My routine has been very inconsistent lately, though I do know from the past some tools and tips for routine and things that have helped me in the past. It's hard sometimes knowing the way vs walking it.
For rumination, I most often video journal (to myself) to get my thoughts out, it has helped immensely, especially when I am feeling isolated. On top of that, keeping myself busy. Sometimes it is healthier things like a book, sometimes I just put on a movie I have seen before to get my mind from ruminating.
Thanks for the support, always open to hellos and sharing!
