It's actually pretty easy with small yarn, I'm a complete beginner, never made a clean chain before and here I am actually doing it. I also thought it might be harder with bigger yarn because it'll be harder to see all the individual chains if it's too fluffy.@@thegreenxeno9430
I started with small yarn and it’s actually really easy i would recommend either putting bobby pins on the loops and getting tweezers or just a small hook to help you grab the yarn through the hoops. that depends on how big you want your hoops!
Fun fact that is know as finger crochet not knitting Edit : thank you for all of the likes this is the most I have had I basically started and kindergarten fight in the comments I just want to say I know that's finger crochet because of my experiences finger knitting is where you wrap around your fingers and repeat and lift up the bottom loops and continue and please stop fighting I am just saying a truth and you don't need to bother me about what I know thank you.
I haven’t done crocheting yet, but I would like to learn and this gave me a good idea of a first project instead of getting a bunch of supplies I can just get a couple instead, instead of using a hook I can just use my hands. This looks simple and easy thank you for making this video.
This is actually really easy to mess up, at least for beginners.. I'm currently 11+ hours in, after having to completely take my blanket apart and restart. Make sure you keep the loops tight and small, otherwise you'll end up with giant holes. Also, I have 12 skeins of jumbo yard and I'm not even sure if it will be enough 😅
I feel so bad. I can barely knit a scarf and when I make a mistake I don’t know how to fix it so I have to take the whole thing apart and start over. It’s so frustrating
omg im so happy i saw this comment bc im like 45 mins in and i was wondering why i had holes in it and this saved me bc i just started making the loops bigger 😅 but know i now to make them smaller so thank you so much!
This is literally the most simple and amazing tutorial I have ever seen!!! Straightforward, logical, simple, and it makes it really easy to follow in practise!!! Love ❤️ keep it up
@@keroki932 That's not too specific. Instead of three loops, I make a loop. I hold it with my right hand, and then I make a loop with the long end of the yarn without letting go of the first loop and put the second loop through the first loop, then tighten it. I was a beginner two months ago, and there wasn't an easier tutorial than what I found, so I had to figure the other method out myself.

True
Who is she tho? Does she have more videos?
@@misse2013 dk but hope so, if there is TELL ME cos this lady knows what she's doing
My red flag is that I would try and do this with normal sized yarn 😭😭
I’m pretty sure you can, you would just need to scout for the size difference by making the loops smaller
For goodness sake, don't start with small yarn. Practice with the big stuff and work your way down.

Finger knitting is different😊
@@thecraftykiwi77its not 😂 the way she did it is knitting not crochet, two different things 🥲
I had carpal tunnel surgery and I have tremors so holding the hooks for crocheting is hard now. But this is so much more easier for my hands.

This tutorial was a life-saver. I hand knitted my crush a blanket for Valentine’s Day, AND HE LOVED IT 🤭

This is amazing
This was such a nice and quick experience to learn and I managed to do it with small yarn
Mine didnt work on small yarn 🫤
I still can't fathom why people over complicate making a slip knot... just twist and pull
Ikr it's not that complicated for me I don't do all that 😭
Wdym twist and pull? Usually I wrap the yarn around my index three times (it's hard to explain the rest) but it's super easy for me
@@happypercussionist13 times? 😂😂 just do a loop and grab the yarn through.
