Graham is more of a master carpenter vs a handyman. He's integral to the team. I love AG's home. She is such a talented designer.

@@annarchydeclutteranddesign413 Yes, but you need to be a master carpenter to know how to use the equipment in the workshop. I know a lot of handymen that wouldn’t have the first clue of how to use that equipment. 😊

I'm glad Homeworthy did something with Alexandra. She's a departure from a lot of what they often do, with a focus on rental friendly creativity. Not every designer is rich with a big house.
TBF, Homeworthy is electric in it's choice of homes. That's why I love it! But yes, fab that they have done something with another of my fav CZcamsrs. 😁😁

Yeah, I cringed when she said that and I don't even know who Graham is. A handyman is someone who will unclog your plumbing, help you move your fridge or put some WP-40 on your door hinges. This kind of unskilled labour.
Surely someone with the skills to make all those beautiful things she showed us is not a handyman but a highly skilled professional!
I agree, every time Graham is described as a handyman, is like minimazing how humble and a great artist he is. A regular handyman would never ever take things to the next level, as Graham does.

I also love how she made me feel that my home can come together too. Alexandra was down-to-earth with a lot of practical ideas that she accomplished over time with a limited budget-definitely someone I can relate to!
I love watching Alexandra’s CZcams videos. She does amazing makeovers with her wonderful team. They are talented young people, and their humor always makes this 75-year-old woman laugh. She’s an up and coming designer, and she has grown her business through hard work and the love of interior design.

Graham is hardly a “handyman.” He is essentially her co-creator at this point. “Team AG” should really stand for Team Alexandra/Graham.

And I know a lot of designers do this, but it has always bothered me when they say, "I did" this, that, or the other. It's completely a team effort, and it feels like not giving the people who work with her credit. I'm sure it isn't intentional, but it should be rephrased.

Alexandra understands movement / dynamism within a space, juxtaposition, texture, furniture and object quality, and the power of hue and color. This is an intelligence that will only deepen with linear age. While some people in the comments seem to know of Alexandra, this is the first time I've come upon her/her work. I predict a terrific path ahead, and an even greater deepening of her visual agilties. Good taste IS a kind of music or poetry, a kind of insight. She's got it.

Graham is so much more of a handyman......he is a skilled carpenter. I watched her CZcams videos and its about she stops calling him that. He has brought her visions to life on levels that I dont think she expected.

He literally calls himself a handyman. It's in his IG handle, too, and I'm pretty sure it's been in video descriptions. He's a carpenter, an artist, who brings her visions to life - but he is also skilled in many other trades, not just carpentry. A very handy dandy handyman, at that! Also, there's nothing wrong or degrading about being a 'handyman' and I keep seeing people being so pressed about their choice to use this term.
Graham is an artist, so much more than a handyman. Wish I had him here with me. My home would be so beautiful. The details matter.

I've been watching Alexandra's channel for years. She does some of the best home makeovers. I remember when she did her space on her channel and it truly suits her personality.

Not AG twice this week!!!❤ I love that she advocates for making small changes and her team (Hey Graham!) does ambitious projects as well. My confidence in designing my own apartment has improved. I even have a throw with pink pom-poms on my bed. The fact that it's taken her time to complete her space makes me feel less guilty about some lingering diy projects around here. Her book is also a great resource and a great addition to my bedroom!

I love that Homeworthy is showing more houses that are related to the average budget people. Don't take me wrong, still love the inspiration I get from the high-budget ones. 🙂I always wanted to see Alexandra's house in detail.

I also love watching Alexandra's videos. Her ingenuity and creativity are inspiring; she always finds a way to make the practical pretty! Once of the things that impresses me is how easy she is to listen to. She's well prepared, well-spoken and well produced.
Great to see Alexandra featured on Homeworthy! Kudos to her! Such a great up-and-coming decorator. I am older and have a different style of decorating, but I can appreciate her talent and sense of style! It's nice to see Homeworthy cover content for those who do not have lavish homes and lifestyles!

Having watched Alexandra for a long time and seen every step of the way as she decorated this apartment, it’s nice to see it in its entirety and how all the spaces echo elements from the other spaces.
I will add my voice to the Team Graham upgrade idea. He is at least a Senior Carpenter. ( Master Carpenter, for those who do not know, IS an actual a Title in the World of Construction, I ve forgotten the specific qualifications ) Give him the creds he deserves. Love the house.
I am so excited to see Alexandra here on Homeworthy! I already feel like I know her entire apartment because I’ve watched every one of her videos on her CZcams channel… and I also bought her coffee table book. I love her style because, as she stated, she designs according to what she loves. That is what makes her so authentic. She is such an inspiration!

I Love Alexandra and her Team. Her studio fix playlist is phenomenal. The first one is particularly moving - for a close friend of Alexandra's. In Alexandra and Noah's home there is also another room that is Noah's office - Alexandra and Graham made over wardrobes to fit the sloping ceiling in that space. It has a trunk from Noah's ancestor.

So glad you showed the skis! Through the entire tour of the entryway, I was thinking "Are the skis still on the wall? Are they not going to show them? Where are the skis? It's such a smart place to store them and people need to see it." I wanted to shout out Alana and Amanda, and everyone in addition to Graham who make up Team AG!
That's true but Noah's office wasn't included in this tutorial and it was one of the spots that got huge updates with it's built in storage but it's always evolving ,maybe that is why it wasn't included .
AG finally!!! I am so glad!!! She makes a lot of videos that is very relatable for smaller spaces. I can't afford a mansion in Hamptons yet for many people who are living in studios or 2 bedroom apartments viewers learn so much from her!!!

Having followed Alexandra for several years, it is so funny and cozy to see things that were in her previous apartment. And I can confirm: those kitchen door nobs were in her previous kitchen and looking at them I can still visualize the pink pill-and-stick tyle on the backsplash.
This home's charm can't be under estimated. ✨✨

I actually like the kitchen island top! There's already a lot going on in the kitchen visually-speaking, and the wood really gives warmth. Tile would make it look cold/ less cozy. I think a tile side or coffee table would be nice if done right. Especially since a coffee table would typically be surrounded by soft furnishings that would naturally create balance.

Alexandra and her team are great at what they do. Graham is not a handyman. He is a masterful creator, the Da Vinci of the team 💐! I have a real handyman and there is no comparison. This team works well together and are a joy to watch their projects.

I am a big fan and fairly recent U Tube subscriber. Keep trying to get my grandkids to watch her. What does Grandma know? Maybe now they will. What a surprise to find out her bedroom sculpture is by Katie Gong. Katie is married to my Great Nephew .
