I would like to reference what Brian said about works records outside of a competition. I'm sure Thor is honest but that fact it's not done in competition is important. Imagine if I set a new national record in swimming but it was during training. Race starts, judges, touch pads... Everything. It still wouldn't count because it wasn't done in competition.
Yes it sucks for Thor but guess what it sucks for all athletes. Think of all the Olympic athletes that had to put their plans on hold.

@Old chunk of coal. That's... that's not how genetics work. I know a family where the dad is 150 cm tall, the mother slightly taller, but their son is 186 cm tall. I also have 3 brothers and every single one of us is taller than our father. When you have a kid it's not like you're gonna get a perfect 50/50 of both parents appearancewise/bodywise, rather it's more like a genetic lottery. Sometimes they even get traits from their grandparents that the parents don't have, or from even further back.

@@bennogb5069 You don't understand how genes work then. A 5'1 woman (which isn't midget btw, over 30% of all women are that height or smaller) can deliver a future 6'5 baby. And in general, genes tend to improve over time. It's called evolution. For instance, both my parents were 5'6, yet I'm 5'11 and likely not even done growing yet.
There's too many variables here to assume Kelsey's height is gonna make the child short. Recessive genes from past generations, which parent will be the dominant gene, and even just how well he's developed as a child. Just be happy for them. They're having a child, not a puppet.

I don't think it's terribly unlikely. Strength potential is 50% genetics and 50% environment. He'll have the best coaching on earth and a very good chance at being sized like his dad. The only real problem could be if he goes all "emo" in his teen years and decides to start a garage band instead of lifting.
