I am only 6'4" tall and 260lbs and I have to shop big and tall for shirts just so I can get my hands on the Tall fitment shirts (XLT and 2XLT). That T part of the size makes all the difference and adds about 3 or so inches to the length of the shirt. Otherwise I have to get a 3xl like you mentioned in order to get a long enough shirt, but then it's like wearing a parachute.
I feel you pain its horrible sometimes I have bought a shirt and it's like a belly top or jiggers that are way too short. I'm so glad we can get big and tall now as I used to get xxl shirts and bigger jeans on the waist.
I'm 19 and around 6'3/6'4 and i wear large tops. I don't find shopping too hard apart from shore shopping because i wear size 12 shoes.
@ScoobyYTP depends on how you are built. I am long in the torso and relatively short legged for how tall I am (34in inseam). I am also VERY barrel chested, which don't help. I NEED the tall shirts, or everything is a belly shirt.
@@djsubliminalreeve it's honestly annoying. I want to support some youtubers and buy shirts, but there is no point because I can't wear them. Same thing with free shirts from companies or work related stuff. It all ends up being worn by my girl or turned into shop rags.

Thank you very much for this. I'm only 6'2 but have the torso length of someone 6'7, and living in the UK, most shirts look like crop tops on me (trust me, not a good look!). I often really struggle to find shirts that are long enough, without making me look like I lost a fight with a 5-man tent. The only brand I've found so far are called "Big Dude Clothing", and their own-brand shirts are fantastically long. Unfortunately, they're not the most robust quality, and I tend to burn through them fairly quickly. However, I'm off to the US on Saturday and will be hitting up a DXL as soon as I can!
Michael Phelps who is 6'4" also has a torso equivalent of a 6'8" guy and the lower body equivalent of a 6'0" guy. I think a bit similar to your scenario right?

One of the problems is Iceland biggest brand 66north only makes clothes to fit their ‘heroine’ sheik supermodels and not real Icelanders.

6xl! Easy for me to shop for 3xl, but 6xl must certainly be limited to shop for.
At almost 6'4", close to 300lbs...I can confirm. The world is a place best experienced by those around 5'9", and average weight. My dear friend Joel, who's the inv supervisor at a hardware retailer, is 6'9". Seems as though it would be novel, to be so tall; but it's a hell for clothing, cars, chairs, and really anything you have to touch, or interact with. No handy "device" (trimmer, broom, handle, doorway, etc.) was ever put here, in mind for your designs. You must adapt always. God bless the tall, the short, and the different in any way. Those t-shirts if you got a XXL extra tall it would probably be a great fit on you. Most people don't ever try tall and extra tall shirts, but if you are tall instead of fat, then getting the required length without having a ton of extra material doesn't work. America definitely has the best selection of clothing for tall people than anywhere else.

@@slavcho12 5'7 185 lbs tall but not extremely tall. I grew a foot over the next four years and was 6'7 by the time I graduated high school, I was 6'8 1/2 by 19. I'm 49yrs old now and I'll probably start shrinking in the next ten years 😥
Your Wife and child are beautiful. My Wife is 4'11 and 100lbs, I'm 6'3 210lbs, we get ribbied about the size difference all the time. My family and I think you are the coolest. My son is 7' 350lbs (ex-wife is a big Swede), and he also has the worst time in the world finding stylish or contemporary clothing that fits. It's one of my favorite stores, for me, being 6'9"and 450lbs myself, they always have something that I like and fits good but jeans are always the hardest!

I live in a small town and need one of those stores. I can sometimes find a 3XL shirt but it's always tight on the upper body and HUGE from the chest down. It seems like most shirt manufacturers think anyone over 6' has a 50" waist.
Which is stupid from the manufacturers. They should cater the Strongman, Powerlifter, Weightlifter, Bodybuilder community better.

Hi Thor, my 6/4 son Ragnar is half Swedish who also has issues finding clothes fitting his athletic body.
So i know your pain when I buy him clothes. haha
But Honestly you actually look good with the funky pants and Hawaiian shirt. Having someone your size wearing wild and free spirited clothing all while maintaining your masculine humble conservative demeanor helps others realize that if Thor can wear it, so can I. You should create an entire brand with wild colors. A clothing line that promotes FUN HAPPINESS. I’ll help and invest with you.

Instead of going up a size to get something long enough, see if they carry clothing with a T-suffix (e.g. 3XLT instead of 3XL). The T stands for Tall, and are longer without being wider.

I'm 6'5 400lbs I don't shop at big and tall over priced clothes I do all mine online cause it's hard to find 5 and 6x shirts or 44 pants that are not polo shirts and dress pants I love my carharts love the vids Thor
Dxl is only store i can shop at too. Great store for big guys. Everything is pre shrunken too so no worries when washing. U need the 2XLT not the 2XL fit ya way better.
