one small tip, you can loot monster nests after destroying them for some juicy loot
Sees a 💀 Gryphon, rushes in to fight. You a hero bro, couldn’t be me. Gotta find someone to pay me for that.
Saw that skull and thought no way... fair play man that Griffin was WAY over-leveled and you nailed it!
Yup dude is a brave man at level miniscule.
The main story keeps getting better as you play, new characters, full on adventure movie, keep going. Very excited to see more of witcher 3
The biggest difference between fast and heavy attacks, especially in the early game, is the rhythm and the pace of combat.
It is quite how you listend to Keira and Geralt talking about what terrible idea it is to use igni on the poison clouds, and then started to use igni on them, lol 😆
Toxicity is like a resource, the more decoctions and the faster you use potions, the more toxiciy you get. Skills that increase the max toxicity are key if you want to use a lot of potions and decoctions later. If you want to stick to potions, there is another skill that allows toxicity to tick down faster. Btw, there is one potion in the game that gets rid of ALL your toxicity, but you lose all active buffs from potions and decoctions as well, of course. Very useful if you can't meditate.
The animation of Gerlat taking the torch out prevents the selsction wheel from working properly. You cannot switch the sign you want to cast, even though it looks like you switched it. The torch itself also prevents you from using heavy attacks, because you need to need to use your sword as a two hander for that.
One last thing: The main quest in Velen is regarded as one of the best quests in computer games, and a lot of people have strong opinions about it. And some will tell their opinions, even while you are playing the quest, and therefore spoil this quest. So, I recommend to either wait reading the comment section till you finished main quest Velen (maybe prerecord this part), or let a friend who played through the game already to check the comment section first, to prevent spoilers.
Merchants will pay different prices for different items
To maximize your profit, sell weapons to blacksmiths and armor to armorers and equip a trophy like a succubus trophy to increase the amount of gold you acquire by 5%
Hearts of Stone has a special trophy that increases gold you aquire by 20%
You can exchange your orens and florens for crowns at the bank in Novigrad. The exchange can be increased if you have one of the gold trophies.
Ooooh, "Ladies of the Woods" is one of my favourite quests of the game! I think you will throughoutly enjoy it!!!
You asked about toxicity for Geralt, you want to find or buy the manuscript for White Honey. This will clear out your toxicity levels, it will also neutralize the effects of the different decoctions you use.
I definitely recommend making all the oils you can as you get them. Decoctions are great but some can be very specific to the type of weather or against one type of enemy. A few of the decoctions are generalized.
Very small tip, keep all your shells and sea shells. Dismantling shells gets you pearls and dismantling sea shells gets you black pearls
Good tip! Those pearls are worth a lot of money!
And more importantly, when dismantled, the Pearl Dust can be used for crafting
I'm really happy you are taking your time because it makes you notice all the little details and it delights me when you do. :)
Finally someone who uses bombs! Igni, and all fighting skills from the Witcher 34:37, that's fun to watch! More relaxing than simply attack dodge attack dodge attack dodge.
we want 2 episodes a week:)
That griffin was lvl 20, good job! You were very close to death, he gave you bleeding at one point but quen saved you from it!
A tip, don't forget to loot monster nests when you blow them up, usually some goodies there.
Can't wait to see more of your playthrough! You'll LOVE the main storyline and all the sidequests and beautiful areas! Seems like you're already hooked
I love it when you watch something for the first time. Your reactions are the best.
A quick tip for HP regeneration - there is a perk called 'Gourmet' I believe, located under the yellow perks (looks like a wine bottle). It will allow you to regenerate your health for 20 minutes straight by just consuming one piece of food or drink! :D this definitely helped me in all fights, and helped reduce my toxicity from swallow potions until I found better builds.
Alway fun to listen to NCPs talking 52:22, thanks
Hey Blaze, this quite literally just notified me as I got home, so perfect timing
This series has got me so hyped that I continued playing my own copy😸
Blows my mind that this game is like 9 or so years old, came out the same year a graduated
Watching you play this game is an absolute joy and pleasure 😊
Its first time I watch so long gamplays. But i love it!!! Your reactions for such a fine game is brilliant. If I may make a suggestion. Think about whether you would like to play with Polish dubbing and English subtitles. Believe me, it's worth it.
The Scoia'tael are a very 'ranged' heavy faction, so when you dropped the fog card it triggered his early pass in round one.
As for you, sometimes passing in the first round immediately can also be a valid tactic. *Sometimes.
With horse combat, you can hold the attack button and time will slow down, making the sword strikes easier.
And that particular Griffen at your level - "RUN YOU FOOL!" 😆 *Never mind - Sorry, I forgot that you're not playing on Deathmarch. ( And IMHO, you really should be.) You only get one chance to play this game for the very first time, so why not get the full Geralt experience.
Regarding Toxicity, check the Alchemy skill tree, there are two first-tier skills that increase your tolerance and are well worth investing in.
You won't regret it. Alchemy skills can be very powerful for multiple reasons.
Edit: Crossbow tip - Tapping the attack button without manually aiming will auto aim, extremely useful for drowners when your underwater or on a boat. Tip2 - When using the Ignii sign to set enemies on fire, you shouldn't continue attacking, as it extinguishes the burning effect. Let em all burn, Blaze. ❤🔥
I'm enjoying your level of appreciation for this brilliant game. It's a once in a generation game that deserves every accolade it has received. Keep going and enjoy every second of your journey on the path, Blaze. VGG so far.
blood and broken bones is the full experience, since meditating does not restore health and the game feels balanced. death march is just even beefier enemies and you being even more squishy which in my opinion is just bad at that point, getting a quarter of hp taken away from an attack from a werewolf seems fair, getting two shot doesn't, i'm a witcher not a fucking peasant.
@@Myhaay DM forces you to utilise every aspect of the game mechanics to gain any advantage. Signs, potions, bombs, tactics, skills, decoctions, mutations.
It's not that hard, it's more challenging, requiring you to be more skilful in combat, which means it's more fun.
Blood and broken bones is the "Participation Trophy" setting of difficulty levels. The game is too easy.
I've been playing this game continuously since launch, many times, and I've never played it on anything but DeathMarch. Yeah, I got my arse handed to me in the early game many many times, but you learn and adapt and get creative. Like Geralt would.
@@alittlecreepywhenyou "I've played this game continously since launch" that's like me saying dark souls 3 is easy because i beat it like 5 times, of course blood and broken bones is easy for you if you played the game for a decade, on my first playthrough it felt the best, i still had to use food and water, i had to make oils and utilize the game's mechanics in order to win consistently and without dying once or twice to learn the movesets, you just sound arrogant and elitist honestly.
@@Myhaay No, I was only stating the facts mate.
Get all your toys back into your pram, and enjoy your trophy kiddo.
@@alittlecreepywhenyou only reinforcing the arrogant and elitist trope, not everyone needs to play every game on the hardest difficulty on the first try dude, how hard is that to believe, Geralt a witcher for almost a hundred years dying from 3 ghoul hits lmao.
I also like how you didn't say shit about my points and only insulted me, very insightful of you. Not to mention the focus is the story not the combat, people want reactions to the story not someone dying once every higher level encounter
For your convenience:
You can get to the meditation screen quickly by holding L1 (sign selection wheel) and pressing square 👍🏻
Let's go finally getting around to watch this one!
Great job on clearing locations and monsters. Im glad you seem to be enjoying The Witcher. 😉
Hi blaze I just finished watching your arkham series playthrough and had to say your channel really caught my attention I would love to stick around and maybe watch the twitch sometimes..Thank you for the amazing editing and videos I really enjoy them, glad I found your channel!!!
TIP: not sure whether you already did so, but you can select option to apply oils automatically in the gameplay menu. I also recommend switching on the alternative movement too, it's way more precise.
You have to loot stuff you can get sometimes wery valuable stuff, rare swords, same with books, maps and letters reading them you can get new information added to your bestary about monsters, reading maps you can get treasure hunt quests to find witcher gear, of course don't steal when guards nearby, i played this game 456 hours and still playing, i never get bored to replay this game, unlock sidequests, i even played on hardest mode, i would wish i could play this game first time again. p.s when you blow up nests you have to loot there are valuable stuff
"OH MY GOD" That reaction had me creasing bro 🤣🤣
To answer your question about toxicity:
1) There is a diffeence between toxicity and poison, poison can be dealth with golden oriole, the superior version will heal you when you are poisoned.
2) for toxicity you might want to use the green skill acquired tolerance, and then go find all recipes across the map, its the best way to get your tox threshhold higher in my experience.
3) Finally, there is a potion that removes all toxicity when drunk, but it will remove all potions effects aswell, it is useful if you need to use instant healing potion (which you don't have yet), and you are already full toxicity, you sacrifice other potions effects by removing them and be able to heal again with the potion.
Yes I saw you taking it at 32:25 great! Level 2 and 3 are the ones most imporant and the ones that will make your toxicity threshhold very high.
Bro is grinding 🗣️ 🔥
Loot the nests after destroying them
Make sure to craft White Rafford's Decoction when you get the chance. It's the best healing potion in the game😸
Craft the Cat potion too so you can see in the dark. Upgraded versions of Cat make you immune to being hypnotized
During mounted combat, time will slow down while holding the attack button when you get close to an enemy, and Geralt will adjust his sword automatically depending on which side the enemy is on
To hit the enemy, you have to release attack when you're either right behind or right next to the enemy you want to hit. It's all about timing
Good intuition on not going down in to those tunnels for now.
If you get the chance, you should claim rewards from the opening menu. It takes a few steps, but you'll get a few neat goodies like a good armor set to wear in the early game before you can equip the white tiger set in your inventory or get witcher gear
Dismantle seashells to get pearls! (blacksmith or else)
Try to upgrade the delusion skill as much as you can, you unlock new dialogue options with that and those dialogue options usually give you extra xp so that really helps a lot!
Also, try to make regular saves every few minutes, it might not seem like such a big deal but honestly it can be really helpful when you make a choice you regret afterwards or something else goes wrong in a mission, autosave isn’t always reliable in my opinion so it’s better to make a few extra saves in between than not at all, you wouldn’t want to risk losing a lot of progress!
It would be bad to loot everything in real life but if you think about it, those chests are placed there for you, no other npc is going to take them :D
You can actually raid destryed monster nests for a bit more valuable drops.
Those items on your item with a red X, are level 11 items, they are taking place in your inventory for nothing, I want you to store them in your stash (white orchard or Crow perch;))
"cat" potion makes you see in the dark . may be helpfull for you :)
Lets go more Witcher!
💯💯
11:23 masterful blow
when you destroy monster nests there is good loot inside destroyed nest
When you consume too much witcher potions your toxicity increases 💀. You'll have to either meditate or craft a white honey potion to remove your toxicity meater
React to more apex legends content 🙏 Maybe finishers? You also missed kill code part 3 + 4 on the trailer video 😊
W
You should do a play through of the game killer frequency and buckshot roulette
Nothing against any of his likings rn but, smth i and prob many people would like to see is Blaze watching Murder Drones, i honestly think he would like it, idk.
a small tip for gvent like in the beggining the AI is stupid for it if you give then a turn where they have more power than you a lot of times they just pass and you can easilly win
Do you still play Tf2 and overwatch?
OK, I'm gonna spoil things a bit here for your benefit. Be very careful when you do the "A Towerful of Mice" quest for Keira. Make sure you collect every piece of information and pick your responses carefully if you want the best ending for her and another character. Otherwise you might find yourself fighting Keira and having to kill her. Which can lead to the death of another important character later in the game if you don't save him in time. So you need to send Keira off to hide at Kaer Morhen.
I'm saying this because you keep missing a bunch of red glowing items. There was another item you missed at the sepulchre near the end of the playthrough. I suspect that it's because you're far away from the screen. You can go back, of course. It will still be there. Luckily there's no consequence for missing it. But you really must pay more attention to detail.
Who tf said horse combat was good?
On PS4 it was the most janky system, one part of Blood and Wine took me multiple tries just because the hit-boxes were weird.
If ur able to kill a Skullhead level mosnter quite easyily u play ona way to ez level ;)
Play MK1 please been waiting for 5 months
will there be a Hogwarts Legacy series then? 👀
Hey bro April is done and you don't continue God of war 😢
I really love you but you forgot about us 😢
Hey, he'll continue it eventually
God of War is really short compared to Witcher 3 and Unity
He'll probably post the next GOW video when he gets close to the end of Unity😺
1:53:50+ you are NOT USING WITCHER SENCES much, there are many tresors in this area you are going to miss I think
1:58:49 NEVERMIND I see you did you miss the chests below :) GG
First
WHERES GOD OF WAR??? im rly starting to believe you hate it
