- We don’t hate numbing cream just because…
We speak from our experience. We do not speak for the entire industry. Every cream, every artist, every client is different.
Please keep your comments respectful.

Mine healed fine when I got a half sleeve. It took over 20 hours because of the detail. On the second session I was shaking when standing up after sitting there for 7 or so hours just taking the pain. There is a ton of black in it, which is why. My mind outpaces my body, so even though I was shaking and scaring my artist, I didn't really feel all that bad. That's when my artist used numbing cream for me. I would be lying if I didn't say there were super painful moments where I was questioning everything. That numbing cream was crazy, I could sit there just fine and not feel anything for a good half hour, but places like the crease of my elbow still stung a little.
my artist didnt have a problem with it, I didn't feel a thing and it healed just fine. It lasted like 5 hours too
What brand did you use??
What brand
@liandajane3207 Brand?😃
The real reason is they feel cheated because they had to go through the pain to get it. You have the option to get a pain free tattoo, they didn't.
I've been tattooing 33 years and I'm still getting tattooed myself. I don't like it when clients use it (but I do) lol. Not going to lie, I'm out of places to get tattooed that don't hurt a lot and painless tattoo cream seems to work well up to 4 hrs for me. I'm only getting high contrast blackwork now, no color and no soft shading so it works fine for me.
Very interesting!
4 hours ? What cream do you use?
@@tristonmanuel6813 painless tattoo cream

@@Glock9ine-os8zd "painless tattoo" is the name brand.
The client isn’t the background who just put on numbing cream: 😢
Taddoo
Literally i experienced the complete opposite of everything he said! I’ve had the cream on one of my tattoos and it came out perfect, healed perfectly, and the numbing stayed for about an hour and the tattoo lasted just over an hour! Clearly it just depends on the cream you use and the type of skin you have
I have a leg sleeve and an arm sleeve. Have never used numbing cream til my last session and I absolutely hated it. It just felt very weird and gave me a false sense of security. The vast majority of the area getting tatted was numb but not completely so I’d feel nothing then BAM shit would hurt so bad. I did not like it at all. Versus no cream yeah it sucks for a few minutes then your body almost gets used to the pain in a weird way and you just embrace the suck. Will never use it again
Im 35 been getting tatted for 20 years now. I just started using this shit. I wish it was a thing when i had my throat blacked out or my belly tats….but nah i like it my boy owns a shop here in Maine (Disconnected Tattoo Ellsworth ME) he picks on me about it but he don’t give a fuck . Ive had killer luck with it so far. Ive earned my stripes of pain. Lol
My first tat was on my chest. I want more but the pain was so excruciating 🤦🏾♂️ if numbing cream works sign me up
I have started a huge one on my back and I had to stop. Now in search of a numbing cream. I will tell you.
@@rhouknee ok thanks I’ll be on the lookout for your response
Someone across from me was getting tattooed with numbing cream. He tapped out 3 hours in, as soon as it wore off. He said all the pain at once sucked.

Not gonna lie. Biggest bullshit I have heard. I have done no numbing cream and with numbing well spray, not cream. And they have both healed the same. And there is drastic difference in pain. Numbing spray is way easier than no numbing spray. If someone tapped at 3 hours it’s because they just cant handle it. I normally get tattoo for 4 hours. Take a 10-20 minute break while numbing spray is applied. Tattoo resumes.
I dont feel shit for 3-4 hours. Reapply the spray. Go again for hours. There is a point where your body cant handle anymore. But guarantee you if you dont have that numbing spray, its gonna be alot shorter of a day
sounds like if you’re getting tattooed on a sensitive spot you should use it, i just don’t see the point if it’s somewhere basic like your bicep or something
I couldn’t agree more! The guy on the video is talking complete shit!
FROM A TATTOO ARTIST MY OPINION? IF U NEED NUMBIN CREAM YOU SHOULDNT BE GWTTIN TATTED ‼️💯📌
