    Hello, I am a retired person from deepest, darkest, Texas, transplanted to Virginia. I have learned so much from you these past months. As a retired teacher most of the items you talk about are out of my price range, but still I do enjoy learning. Of all the bags you have mentioned the Delvaux brilliant and the alligator Asprey bag are the ones that spoke to me the most. Thanks for the education.

    Dear Anesu, you’re doing an amazing work, I love all of your videos. I appreciate the fact that you focus on the quality of a each luxury product rather than merely the name of the brand. You’ re doing a great job so far with all of your videos!

    The first time I saw a Judith Leiber minaudiere was in the hands of the wife of one of the owners of a basketball team. My husband was the GM. Guess what it was: an adorable crystal encrusted orange basketball. After that, I was obsessed. I came upon her flagship store on a visit to NYC soon after that, and what a treat that was!

      Judith Leiber is fabulous! You just need 1/2 little show stoppers from her.

    I really enjoy this segment. You broke everything down in copacetic order. I remember seeing the Lana marks boutique in nyc; however, that shuttered and now she has a store in palm beach. Great review. Keep up the great work.

      Lana is based in Palm Beach so it makes sense. Love her colours.

    Have picked up a few Aspery bags for my girlfriend and I personally use an alligator suitcase from the house. Couldn't suggest them more.

    Thank you for this beautiful and informative video! I was touched by these beautiful pieces of art, especially Lana Marks and Coomi❣️of course Hermès is the top Quality brand but I ‘d rather buy one of these outstanding and original ‘art’ bags, if I had the money…😁

    So, are most of these bag brands that you mentioned considered "bespoke" because they're exotic (and, naturally, many exotic skins are quite a bit more expensive)?
    When it comes to strictly quality and not considering price, which non-exotic bag brands do you consider to be the best?

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  Před 2 lety +1

      No they are considered bespoke because the entire product is entirely customisable. Largely made in exotic leathers because that’s what demand errs towards at that level of luxury.

      @@SoAnesu awesome, thanks for explaining!

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  Před 2 lety +1

      I would put Moynat, Hermes, Ortus in that category and there are 2/3 other ready made brands I’m still exploring and 2/3 bag makers similar to Ortus I’m currently exploring I’ll keep you posted as I reach my conclusions.

    Where does Swaine Adeney Brigg belong? It looks like they are having problems financially as a business. I’m curious as to what category you think they belong in?

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  Před 2 lety +1

      I would say around accessible core.
      I’m not surprised a lot of brands are especially now as we come out of the pandemic. It’s a sign of the times. If their business model hasn’t evolved accordingly then it’s game over.

    Thanks for these recommendations. For custom work with beautiful leathers and exotics, I recommend Peter Nitz of Zurich. He is easy to work with online or in person, and has a reasonable turnaround time.
