I have seen a cop driving his car without wearing his seat belt, post which I have put close observation on the license plate and seen that he has altered the numbers by black electric tape. I am sure as of now there is no mechanism developed to find such culprits.

That's where new number plate with hologram will take care of such manipulation. Also plain old policing is required for false or altered number plates as it is not just a traffic violation under motor vehicle act but also a criminal offence. People must also use WhatsApp and citizen eye like tools/apps to report to police as it helps control these type of occurrence.

Bhai, speed limit varies with the location, agar city mein drive kar rahe ho to 45, highway PE 80 so, speed can't be standardised... Moreover agar kar bhi di jaati hai to overtake karna and stuff would be difficult, car's won't sell as they are now homogeneous in case of performance...

Maharashtra rto to chor hai . Random speed limit 95km ki laga di aur mere car ka speed 96 km dikha ke 2000 ka file bhej diya. Ye speed capturing camera 100 % accurate nahi hai to fir sirf 1 km jyada speed ke liye 2000 ka fine ye go loot hai.

Nearly many high security numbers are not legible. One person known to me has violated the rules many times, but always escape due to inability of the system to detect the vehicle details. 😅😅😅

Now, we have got a message for a challan of INR 7000/-, (2000/- INR for rash driving, the driver drove at a speed of 75 KM/H where the speed limit was 50 KM/H and 5000/- INR for the driver not having a valid license.) The 5000/- amount could be removed if the driver produces the license. However, the driver is now not agreeing to produce a license for fear that his license might be canceled.
It really hurts when you have to pay the price for someone else fault.
We are poor, and now it is too hard for us.

maximum cases are falls, simply generate nuisance revenue, if the total procedure or system so updated even AI camera, autodetection...blah blah... so why you dont send the video through a link, why i have to ask for proof....
when everything can be controlled like which vehicle should be there in future EV or diesel then speed limit should be fixed by default so no one can cross the fixed limit, rather taxing the citizens and making another source of revenue like business for Govt to get more money to do wasteful expenditure and still remain deficit!!

This is active in Kolkata for few years now. A funny thing happened. My friend was speeding in a flyover and the camera clicked the pic and sent it to the registered email address, his father's with the chalaan.
My friend was a young college guy and his father didn't like some habits. The issue was that the pic had him in the driver seat with a cigarette in his mouth.
